You should really think about adding a Vanlife kit. Where you have everything including the electric pump all preassembled for use with a hot water heater, no heater, and one that is none electric, so 3 versions would support an entire booming industry. I'd buy it!
nice i used your method for the gas spout and i like this as well but wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just use a female connector and not have to modify the cap
I ordered your product and put it together sans grease because I was concerned about grease getting in the water. What kind of grease is it? Won't it make ppl sick? Thanks.
It is Dielectric Silicone Grease. It is Food grade. Here are some specs from the spec sheet: NSF registered Food Grade lubricant, rated H1 for incidental food contact. Meets former USDA (H1) guidelines Dielectric, Food Grade, Clean Seals out moisture Lubricates rubbers and plastics

add a strong magnet to the valve to make it a one hand system.
So you cut new threading within the inside of the larger spout? Great idea! Are you still making these?

He opens the vent to release the vacuum and that is when it leaks, otherwise it doesn’t leak.
