From Teams 10 OS to MTRoW, Miracast has been dropped in favor of casting from Teams app which is very laggy. HDMI ingest has been dropped when attempting to share content when connected to HDMI or USB. Ingest works on other MTRoW devices. And compared to Teams 10 OS, MTRoW dropped the ability to access apps (not even a web browser) or the ability for individual users to login to see their files and meetings. Disappointing given the price point of these products.
That's what we're experiencing when we bought a Upgrade pack to test. What a waste of money for a watered-down experience compared to the Surface Hub 2. We were ready to spend a lot of money on these but now, we're going to stick with the 4 we have and go elsewhere.
Same complaints I'm hearing, I'm surprised there's not much new about Hub "experience" as MTR and how to better manage clients (like myself) that invested big with gen1 Surface Hubs and now we have bad experiences that _should_ be designed into the flagship hardware but seems to get forgotten for the new "Oh, you don't have model 3s yet??" ... well my brand new Model 2S is still getting treated like a 2nd class citizen in the MTR world, and just overall quality isn't the shiny experience it used to be (for Hubs). :(
