Lyme disease is a very serious condition, and it is so sad how often it goes undiagnosed and ignored and people suffer lifelong issues. All doctors seem to care about today is covid. I went to the doctor four times. At first complaining of flu like symptoms. They tested me for every virus which was negative and turned me away without giving me antibiotics. Then it came to the point where I was in so much pain I thought I was going to die. I thought that day would be my last day. I went to the doctor and she sent me straight to the hospital. There they had found my kidneys were failing and I was severely malnourished. They understood the amount of pain I was in. They asked if I had been bitten by anything and I had. I don’t recall it being a tick though. The good thing is that it hadn’t gotten to the point where it had infected or inflamed any of my major organs. I’m currently on antibiotics and recovering. Please take care and watch out if you are ever bitten by anything.
I feel ya I'm going through my 2nd round of antibiotics. My family dr acted like it's no big deal and I'm pissed.i go through flare ups and it's been tough to go through I found a heart Dr who has taken over my medical care and wants to check my heart since testing positive for a 2nd time .I'm tired of this shit lucky for me im not fed up yet.

If you antibiotic resistant the you can cure your Lyme with monolaurin. It will take a long time (although you'll notice improvements quite quickly) and you have to know how much to take. But the good news is there are no side-effects.

I am reluctant to say that I’m totally cured out of fear of jinxing things, but I’ve been symptom free since halfway through my treatment. Feel like I have a new lease on life. Very grateful I didn’t get my diagnosis a day later than I did.

I did an ELISA test for Lyme and it the IGG and IGM came back saying "Not Detected". However the WESTERN BLOT IGG said not detected but the IGM said "Detected". My Doctor said I have a false positive result and that I don't have Lyme. From what I know in order to be diagnosed with Lyme Disease a patient must have a positive ELISA test and a positive WESTERN BLOT according to the CDC. If however the ELISA test is an old, out dated, non specific and low sensitive test, then does the WESTERN BLOT Lyme test become a better Gold Standard test?

I have some horrible symptoms with everything else coming back "normal" both the lyme tests came back negativ, however, band 23kd(igm) came back positive... Which is highly specific to lyme. I think I have it even if stupid test said no.

Dang i never seen anyone suffer the way ppl are suffering in the comments. Ive had it, friends have had it. 2 weeks antibiotics usually clears it up lol. Its usually a really bad rash, and body aches.
Damn, I have every symptom. 3 years of severe numerological and balance issue, random body part numbness, neuropathy pain, what I thought was gout in my feet, that must be arthritis. "Commonly available antibiotics", I seldom go to a doctor and take any medication even less but my doctor is hesitant to give the antibiotics. More money in treating later symptoms or effects I guess. My doctor doesn't even test since I have had Lyme more than once. I'm learning to hate doctors.

I get so tired of the strange looks and Medical Care laughing about having Chronic Tick Borne Illnesses.
You tell them it's been around longer than they probably even know. 5,300 yr old "Otzi the Iceman" whose remains were found in the Italian Alps suffered not only from heart disease (something the medical community has thought to be a more recent disease) but LYME DISEASE as well!
And to make matters worse, poor "Otzi the Iceman" was found w/an arrow in his back so it's got to be one of the oldest unsolved murder mysteries of all time.
But my GP left his practice to team up w/specialists in the "fibromyalgia" field to work together in treated that illness & Lyme disease so while I don't know much about the two, there must be a correlation.
