No it was a great sword. High damage, low level req. I ended up picking up a second one from the end boss. I guess I was wrong, it wasn't the best in the game, but you get the picture.

Elfman Strauss you realize that weapons have varying effectiveness on enemies based on the damage you deal, right like, all of the enemies in blighttown get horrendously raped by the bandit dagger and its bleed damage because none of them have armor i still used my dagger throughout blighttown cause i couldn't upgrade the iaito yet

They straight-up didn't believe me, and felt that I was lying to try to make the game sound worse than it was.
