One thing I wanna mention regarding the revive system. If you are innocent and you get revived by an innocent, wouldn't that give away the fact that they're innocent to you? I feel like traitors should also receive a normal revive to keep the mystery going right. Say you're innocent and you get revived as innocent, you can then go vouch for their innocence but they turn out to be the traitor, that'd make for fun scenarios too.
This isn't really a problem because if the traitor revives someone into being a traitor, they'll naturally vouch for traitor being innocent. So the other players can't naturally assume that just because someone got revived, the reviver is innocent. The only person who knows for sure is the one getting revived.
But the point of the _turncoat revive_ item is to res someone innocent as a traitor teammate. If it res'd them back as an innocent, it'd be a useless item and no traitor would use it to just increase the number of their enemies. The new revived traitor number 2 can still vouch for the original traitor's innocence all they want (and lie), as they are now a teammate. Also, when you use the normal revive, you cannot know whether you just revived an innocent or a traitor, unless the traitor has already somehow ousted themselves.
@@qwormuli77 Nah my idea was to give the traitor potential acces to both and have the revived player second guessing and trying to figure out who the traiter is among his own teammates.
@@Er404ChannelNotFound Why should they second guess? When you are revived as a traitor, you become a traitor and aid the cause. If you would be revived normally by a traitor, your win condition wouldn't change and you'd work against the traitor who revived you by default. Any confusion on the side of the revived traitor is a strict downgrade every time for minimal change in the ongoing game. For the rest of the team, who are the traitor's actual objective, thing wouldn't change by a millimeter. So the only thing it would achieve is reverting the situation into a previous status quo, which is only more difficult for the traitor for quite literally zero benefit, every time. As a result, no sane traitor would ever use it as such. No extra fun. No change in the state of the game. No tangible benefit. No extra confusion for any player, except for the revived one. No use whatsoever.
@@qwormuli77 The option being there for the traitor means the revived can potentially suspect one of his teammates is the traitor and in-fighting would be bound to happen, that's the point I'm trying to make. Obv the win condition doesn't change, but it poisons the well of information from which the revived can draw their conclusions.
Getting an InfernoPlus notification is like seeing an old friend and getting excited. Seeing what he's made is like getting punched in the throat so hard that your windpipe breaks. I would not have it any other way.
I had this idea for a Dark Souls/Elden Ring multiplayer game mode, and it's basically VS Siege. Basically, two teams of four on a mirrored map, each with three gates leading to progressively harder enemies and then the boss at the final gate. To progress through one gate, you must defeat all the significant enemy NPCs before it unlocks(there's lesser mobs however that continuously respawn until the gate is opened). Each team and their players can push or defend, gradually opening up short cuts to the later gated off areas until one team kills the other's boss to which they win. Unfortunately I don't know how to mod, but hopefully later in Elden Ring's lifecycle there will be a few recourses to create custom levels and game modes by the community.
The best tactic for the AMOGUS gamemode (while you're the traitor) would be to never do a single thing other than work with the team for the entire time to see how much fear and distrust is sewn throughout the group, and actually just complete the level normally (if possible) then never disclose whether or not you were the traitor so it keeps everyone confused for the rest of time, and, of course, SUSpicious of eachother

I honestly thought the "legend" was gonna be a buffed pinwheel
19:50 A+ comedy
The best tactic for the AMOGUS gamemode (while you're the traitor) would be to never do a single thing other than work with the team for the entire time to see how much fear and distrust is sewn throughout the group, and actually just complete the level normally (if possible) then never disclose whether or not you were the traitor so it keeps everyone confused for the rest of time, and, of course, SUSpicious of eachother
Aaaaand he's done it again. Inferno, when will you be satisfied?
"I think it's just about time that I looked into those new Halo 3 modding tools that just came out, so see you later, space cowboy-"
WOO YEAH BABY THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT, THAT'S WHAT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR, WOOOO.
POV: Waiting for Inferno to make an elden ring video
3 videos in 1 year? This is a blessing
Only inferno the meme god can make RAID commercials seem legit, but we all know it's a meme.
