Hello Nicholas, I agree, I have enjoyed it myself, to some extend because but also despite the difficulty. Developers are from Russia so you can't really expect RTS fanboys like them to not give you a hard time in a game :) I trust they will get the levels sorted if not even add more differences. I plan to give it a go in a Let's Try type of Let's play where I would keep failing to protect my town. Or go for the "easy" settings and try to build as far as I can. I am still thinking which. Do you have a preference?
@@perafilozof since you look like you know what you’re doing, maybe hard settings on endless mode and see how far you can make it! Whatever you make I’ll check it out 😄
This is different from There are Billions, nearly all resources are limited forcing you to expand early just to keep the economy flowing. Forests are not impassable meaning that attacks can come through them, you will have to rely on mountains for chokepoints.

same here. The number of catapults the enemy has on the last wave on harder difficulties is insane, and even on easy mode they tear straight through my tier 2 stone walls in seconds

I didn't know this game, I'll be honest, but from the way you presented it it looks pretty nice and interesting, especially for the horde mechanics, which is typical of Tower Defense. It reminds me a lot of how I play There Are Bilions, but in a more Medieval Fantasy perspective. It would not be bad to see a Run or a mini series of this new title, which I must admit is intriguing.
Hi Mauro, thank you for the comment. The gameplay is such a specific mix that does remind of a lot of games and yet it has it's own loop. It's like they took the best out of many worlds and made a really fun to play blend. I am actully trying to clear my schedule to find some extra time and make a series out if it. I hope I manage it because I personally really enjoyed it and want to try my hand at that endless mode some more.
@@perafilozof Unfortunately, time is always an Achilles' heel. Then of course each of us having our own life, has many commitments, whether they are work or family, carve out time for our passions the more we go on the more difficult it is, but time at the time and with a lot of calm and patience, even this new Gameplya I'm sure you can do it. There are many games, time is short, but as you said earlier, higher quality over a longer period of time, and I fully agree.

Hello Yura az and welcome to my channel. Thank you for the compliment. The short answer is to simply group them CTRL+1 for archers. CTRL+2 for soldiers. They will set up a formation of rows and columns themselves. As for finer control than that I will look into it, but I haven't seen any formation controls or anything past choosing target priorities in the units control panel.
@@perafilozof developers really need add the option to making mixed groups and a command to not aggro same as with the choosing attack prioritising bc the default Hold command get remove anytime you move your troops which totally mess your defensive positions for mele

I'm really tempted to buy the game after some TH-cam videos BUT I'm struggling with the demo, which is frustratingly difficult (cannot go beyond the 4-5th wave, despite dozens of attempts). It seems that the proverbial blanket is always too little. Can anyone tell me if the game campaign is more balanced and less punishing? I'm afraid to spend 20 euros for a game that I will never actually play.

Hi Max K and welcome to my channel. There are no dumb questions. When you select a group of archers you just right click on a wall, tower or gates. The cursor will even change it's icon to show you that they can do so. Walls only fit 1 archers, tower about 9, gates 6.
Hi and welcome to my channel. Once walls and towers are finished you simply select a group of units and right click on a tower. For walls you have to do it individually. One wall section one archer. The next patch will make that easier.

Watch Josh let game it out. The enemy send too much spam unit that it crash the game. Also since you only reach so far and the enemy keep sending thousand of troop. You gonna lose eventually.

Have you tired to lead a part of their army away or take out the catapults with death knighs?
2 years after and this tutorial is just as good! (Currently stuck in the seaport mission on the second level of difficulty, stuff is hard man XDD)

I haven’t survived a single enemy wave yet, no matter how big of an army I try to build I always die
Hi, have you tried to use the summoned knights as a way to stop up enemy attacks and attack them with your own units or catapults ?
@ yes, but the main issue I’ve been having is running out of wood and food too quickly to build a large army

Hi, workers come as each new day dawns to fill empty home slots.
I hate kiting, it's such an exploit.
At some level I agree with you, but in this game is a necessary thing to do until you have big armies and high strong walls.

I don't get an option to upgrade townhall even after having 150 wood and 100 stone. I'm in demo mode.
I must admit I haven't played the Demo Ande, could be the reason for no upgrade possible.

no problem. Hmn I don't think you will be able. But what you can try is to copy the file from the Demo's folder into the save folder of the full game.
