Just because parents never wanted to listen when you were able to be saved from the permanent mental damage of it- Even when you get rid of deep depression, it doesn't actually go away. There's bits of it always left it just becomes a lot more manageable. I just have kinda given up a bit, I guess. Adulting sucks by yourself, but it sucks even more when you feel truly alone, broken, and unheard. :/
