@@borislavkosterinovic4682 was about to quit at the batting... Was over 90% completion so I couldnt stop. I raged pretty hard doing it. There are videoa showing that you have to look and react at Kiryus bat arm. He stops moving and thats the moment you have to press. Its very small timegap and very frustrating. I wouldnt do it again ever. I trough some stuff in my range.

Thank you for the inspiration. I did mine differently but I used your guide to a degree. I got the 1000 coin engine and grinded level 1 to 25000 points. I actually died once doing this. I then did level 2 with only the 1000 coin engine and no other upgrades. I found the d pad was way better for the level 2 boss than the control stick to avoid the attacks. I then got the 7 way fire and the extra life for stage 3. This is probably not even arguably the hardest stage. I died before the boss once and bought the 7 way fire again. I then died on the boss by accidentally running into it. You get points for killing the guns though so this wasn't too bad. I was then on 98000 points going into level 4. I bought a second extra life and the 7 way fire and went to the bottom of the level to take out the enemy dispensers. I got to level 4 boss with 110000 points and died there. So you don't need to defeat the level 4 boss! I decided I wasn't even going to try once I started reaching this point. Good luck to anyone still trying it!
I had never tried the 7 way fire before and kept dying early in stage 3, but it is definitely worth it! I now realize the difficulty in that stages comes from the large number of weak enemies that swarm the screen, so that gun makes quick work of of them. Great advice!
This play through helped me a lot! I did almost all of the upgrades you did except i switched to the engine instead of the big wings, it makes clearing the levels faster :-)
I'm playing the PC version, and it seems SEGA went out of their way to make this challenge harder by lowering the firing speed considerably. And I mean WAY slower. I want to die.
This, Outrun, Super Hang-ON Baseball, puzzle pool, Mahjong and all the other japanese games are driving me insane. I just want the CP so I can unlock the full potential of the Legend Styles...
I didn't realise it was slower until seeing a few videos of it on the PS4. I started looking around to see why it's so much slower. I only played the game on PC. What the hell, SEGA? Did anyone play test this? I'm losing my mind trying to get 50,000 and never mind 100,000!
You need a controller to beat this. Dont try to beat it by pressing the L button with your bare hands or you will get carpal tunnel syndrome and utter frustration. There is a turbo trick for gamepad which got me achievement.
I finally completed this minigame after 30 attempts (or more) and I have a tip that might go unnoticed: any weapon other than the bombs you buy has infinite ammo, but a usage bar that runs out over time. So when you buy one, hit the fire button hard!
After 30+ tries i finally got to 100,000 bro i was shaking at 90k fortunately this was the last thing in my completion list, thank you, this video and its comments helped me lots
You can grind the third boss by destroying all of his canons, leave one, die, destroy his canons again, die, until you get a fair amount of points. Defeat him with 0 live left (risky), then you'll start level 4 close to 100,000 points. Go directly to the shop at the beginning. Then get the 7-way fire and destroy some bases quickly you'll easily get to 100,000. Sure it's a little risky, but it avoids you the madness of the fourth level at least.
Its high risk high return. I kinda agree with you. I was playing this game on Judgment & Lost Judgment. I have not tried out Y0 yet. I tried bit of grinding even in stage 1 - 3 (before stage 3 boss) and it does help even though risky since the longer u take to reach the boss, the harder enemies will be. Few days ago i tried and game over at stage 3 boss but my score was around 96K i think? So say even if i managed to clear the stage 3 boss, i would already achieved the required score. Dear RGGS developers, take note that nobody likes to play arcade games that much anymore.

I've made like 5 10-minute-long attempts at this and gotten nowhere near the point goal. Now I see why: I didn't even know the rules. I had no clue I was supposed to be taking out the pink things (I got a few but didn't notice their correlation to the bar on the bottom) or that there were even bosses. In all those attempts, I never even knew there was a shop... I know they wanted to preserve the arcade-y feel, but it wouldn't have killed them to at least teach me how the game worked without needing an outside resource lmao. At least throw a 'rules' option in the controls!
TCan i ask is this required for getting platinumed for Yakuza 0? I'm playing judgment and the requirement is only half of it 50k. Even trying to get 50k is quite hard. If getting 100k is requirement for plat i think i will think twice before getting this game
Tips for the 100k : - Don't rush the levels because it gets harder - Kill as many as you can in level 1 and 2 so you can finish in level 3 - Buy mobility and extra lives ASAP - Nobody cares about bombs - Wide shot is good in level 3
7:16 is just ridiculous, look how much stuff is on the screen. Couldn't you technically get 100,000 on the first stage if you grinded enough enemies without killing the objectives?

John niner8 You have to beat the Space Harrier score set by the Sega staff in Sotenbori. After that, this game will be unlocked. This goes towards the what a player trophy and perfectionist trophy.
John niner8 It's the telekura phone chat up line mingame substories. It's utter bullshit. I did two out of three, but didn't save my game. There is seven substories, three involve the real dates you're looking for. The way to identify the girls, by their voices. You might get the same girl again and again.
Look, Sega, I get it. You have a rich and storied history that goes back decades. But surely, a decent way to tribute it at the very least is to make your arcade games slightly more playable instead of ripping them straight from the arcade cabinets, where they're next to IMPOSSIBLE to win.

Well, I finally got the 100k points I needed, thanks to your video. So yeah, thanks. Super Hang On is super easy. I got 7 million points on my first try. Compared with Outrun, where you have to at least concentrate a bit, Super Hang On pretty much plays itself. I was really surprised at how damn easy it was. I was expecting to be stuck on it for a while...
Don't give up yet. This mini game took me more than 10 tries. Focus more on the bigger enemies and use the shop whenever you can. Don't use the laser beam.
It's weird seeing so many people complain about this minigame when I went way over 100k in just three attempts. Space Harrier and Out Run both took me more than that.

It's part of the completion list, and you need to get 100% completion to get a trophy / achievement
They going more forgiving in next gen game before they put us to at least 10 learning curved and we need to be excelent at all that

Do not buy the laser beam, pretty useless compared to the wide beam.

this one was easily the worst for me, the highest i've been able to get was 70k, with the others i could atleast get close within the first few tries.
