@@hanakoisbestgirl4752 personally this trick was really useful to get the final upgrade in Lost Judgement and getting crafting equipment in Like a dragon since playing higher level opponents sped the process up massively since you'll need some of the gold insects which cost quite a lot of points
The hardest part about the Yakuza 4 Platinum is having to contain the killing urges after globe-trotting across Kamurocho just to avoid the police, twice, for three different playthroughs.
Im gonna be honest, I actually really enjoyed my first playthrough of Yakuza 4, especially Saejima’s part. It’s easily the most unique Kamurocho in terms of traversal, and using the tunnels and rooftops to get to different places felt cool. It made the map more connected I felt. I was super disappointed tho, because when doing Master’s tunnel training it looked like the path would form up with the underground section of Purgatory, but then it just stopped. But sewer-himbo gameplay is a very fitting choice for Saejima.
I've platted every mainline game in the series and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the hardest thing I did out of every game was expert pool in 3. The slightest touch on the stick was enough to mess up my shot. I spent literal days slaving over trying to get it. I cried actual tears of joy when I finally finished it. Still love Yakuza 3 though lol
Y3 was a mess with minigames. Especially pool. There is NO LINE, you'll just have to guess where the bill is going to land. Took me two weeks to get through with minigame trophy. I hope new Yakuza games will be more similar to Judgment series with completion. Thankfully, if you suck at games like mahjong, you can cheat the highest rank tables with buyable cheat items. Not worth it if you know the drill, but useful if there's this one table you can't get over.
Just for anyone who sees it I found a workaround for the pool in 3. The issue is the sensetivity is set for ps3 era analogue sticks that didn't have the level of responsiveness so ANY lateral movement on the right stick skews the shot. The workaround is to use remote play on a PC or laptop, plug in your controller and use a mapping tool like ds4 and simply create a controller profile that is the same as your default but unbind the right analogue stick left and right. This means your shots will always be straight. I did the pool the hard way then tried it this way and it was so much easier.
At least you didn't fully complete almost every single thing in Yakuza 5 then realize at some point you somehow discarded a crafting item only available ONCE to Saejima and never again so your almost fully complete Y5 file is ruined forever and CANNOT be finished... That one REALLY broke me and I am still so bitter about it, even THINKING about redoing pool, pachinko, eating all food, all the side stories... It all makes me sick to my stomach. Honestly ridiculous they never patched this and I don't think I'll ever be over it.
Really sorry to hear that. Similar thing happened to me when trying to platinum Kurohyou 2. Just step away from it for a while. Maybe you'll get a nostalgia hit that helps you redo it in the future. Even if not, you've still done one hell of a job with it.
The True Final Millennium Tower was hands down one of THE most excruciating things I've ever completed in a game, especially since I only took the time to fully level up one job for all of the characters. Took me well over 20 tries. But as soon as I beat it, I have never had a moment where I was more satisfied, proud, and relieved.
This was a very fun video to look at, I love seeing people being so passionate about the Yakuza series, great work and I hope you eventually do one about the Judgement games and other spin-offs
I agree with you in Yakuza 5 and Kiwami 1. Yakuza 5 I finished with 116 hours and it took me like a few months to end the game itself. As for Kiwami 1 the hardest part I can agree with the chapter 9 but THE POOL HARUKA REQUEST give me nightmares for how unforgiving it is. It took me 2 hours of try and error.
Im going for Yakuza Kiwami now after I platinumed the Yakuza 0, and what I do are Haruka’s requests. I think I read that you can win at Baccarat request and then go to make a clear save. That makes a bug in which you don’t get the pool request but baccarat again, so I dunno if I should go for it lol.
I used that glitch and it’s amazing you can skip all the last ranks. The car chase on legend I highly exaggerated by people, I passed it on my first try on legend. Now I’m going for yakuza 3 platinum and this is going to be hard. I already have zero and both Kiwamis

Bruh I spent hours on this one, bullying Lau Ka long only to get put in the tarmac by that final truck. Took me forever to realise shooting them in the head is what you had to do despite the huge ass circle in the middle of their bodies, and of course revoking my real Yakuza status by using mouse to get it over with. Legend difficulty on kiwami should be renamed car chase difficulty from now on because of this

when you have fought lau ka long so many times you speedrun through his health so fast the game breaks and he takes ages to switch phases and finish the fight
I jokingly decided to enter the true final millenium tower with a friend in the party. I say it was a joke because I actually wanted to grind more before doing it (I only had the elemental attacks and level 99 on the main jobs, as well as unmaxxed weapons) After some hours of pain, I was actually about to go through the transition just before kiryu but my controller is hot garbage (dualshock moment) and I accidentally selected the option to LEAVE the tower. My friend laughed his ass off. Then I just went back in and somehow beat Amon first try. Fight literally took over an hour, i was deliberating every turn for even minutes at a time, using my rarest items. After I took out the ads (putting it lightly) and did more damage to Amon, out came the orbital. It wiped EVERYONE, and Ichiban only survived because of the skill that lets him survive a killing blow. Amon used his instakill right after but Ichi survived, I knew I had the accessory that prevents it. I managed to get everyone back into the fight and win. I was really happy because I'd just beat him first try and had just saved myself probably 15 more hours of grinding. The funniest part about this is that I basically did it on a whim, which means that I didn't actually have the instakill protect on ichi. I really could have lost right at the end. TL;DR I beat the True Final Millenium tower on a whim because a friend told me to edit: not as hard as honk-honk
Not to be that person but you didn't have to do the Haruka Request in Y3. Because there was no achievement over that but maybe or maybe not is because I am closes finishing the game 100% The real challenge that took me so much hours of Joy, Pain and tears Was Mahjong by getting 1 title, Pool all dificulty and Darts which has to be the most sensitive of all time. I don't know If GOLF Counts has a pain but I didn't have problem but What did broke me in golf was -5 and the stupid thing that not show the meter bar is had to guess.
Thank god Haruka requests aren't neccesary in Y3. The worst thing in Y3 was Golf. Mahjong achievement is luck based but you will get it fairly early. There is a trick to Darts where you can always land Triple 20 and for Pool, I used a ruler LOL
I like Yakuza but any completion list item/trophy that requires a specific hand is just silly. You just spend ages playing badly until you get a starting hand that actually works for the relevant yaku
Yea this is going to sound masochistic but I plan on Platinuming EVERY single Yakuza game and by that I mean EVERY version. All 36 games. All in completely different languages and control schemes. I adore this series and I really cant get enough of it. Should be an interesting time for sure.

Yakuza Like a Dragon was my first game in the series and I absolutely adored it! I got the platinum and everything, and part of me wants to platinum through the whole series before Y8 comes around, but this list is making me second guess myself 😅
I've got every achievement for almost every Yakuza game on Steam with the exception of 3 (and for some reason I bothered to platnium Dead Souls). I do believe there is some logic to the catfights in 0 of what moves certain characters are likely to use, someone compiled their experience online and it was similar to mine but it really does just come down to RNG all the way. I went 4 hours with no wins then got 6 in 2 hours. The worst part though are the misleading QTEs that the game literally cheats to win no matter how quick you are. The Kiwami one is accurate, failed 4 or 5 times before I finally got it. I would also say the Mahjong full straight requirement took me an absurdly longer time than it should have. Kiwami 2 the bouncer missions are perhaps the most tedious thing I've ever went through in any of these games. Runner up being 30 mahjong wins that broke my brain enough to the point where I came to enjoy the minigame. Yakuza 3... I saw golf, I saw how many substories there were, how slow the hostess thing was, how difficult the Kanda fight was on normal and just said no. Yakuza 4 was easy enough but good god, Akiyama's hostess minigame is insanely boring and has a missable achievement. The worst part is that it's apparently 'improved' from Y3. Yakuza 5... yeah there's so much content. It's admirable how much stuff is in the game but damn, did they need to make all of it mandatory for the completion list? Beating the collesium with Akiyama is the chokepoint, if you can win all the tournaments with him then you're probably good to go but pool makes me want to tear my hair out. Y6 pretty easy. Y7 easy but time consuming. Dead Souls is ok but if you want the platnium efficiently, you need to beat the game at least 3 times on different difficulties. There's a turret section on Dead Souls (legend) difficulty that is even worse than the Kiwami section. There's also the tunnels to get to Amon where you need to make your way through 50 floors and if you die it's back to square one. It takes like an hour and a half to actually get to him and the fight is over in less than a minute. Apologises for the stupidly long comment but I had to vent, I could feel my blood pressure rise as I was reliving these clips. Nice video mate.
Yakuza 3 really isn't that hard if you get komakis 3 techniques and you can get them by chapter 5. Seriously, komaki parry and tiger drop is a godsend. Golf is also super easy once you get the hang of it, but may God have mercy on your soul with the pool controls. It's actually just broken
I actually didn't have much trouble with the car section in Kiwami. For me, the hardest part of getting 100% in that game was the Pool minigame for Haruka SSS. The ai in that match is quite literally perfect, and if you don't go first, you cannot win.
Grab, taunt, launch, triple kick, repeat to fill up the climax bar, climax move at start of round, kick the crawling enemies, rinse, repeat. Easy as hell if you do it that way.
I've completed Kiwami on legend, defeated amon in 6 and even went through true final millennium tower. I didn't have to to any of that but I did purely just to say "I did that" 😂
Lost Judgment and LAD are the only games I've yet to 100% and if I had to choose my picks, Judgment's mahjong, Y3's pool and Y5's fishing were the things that nearly broke me. Additionally a thing that just made my day worse were the minigames in 0 just cause of how long they took with no cheat items.
0's minigames are inexcusably luck dependent. The one where you have to go on a date with all the girls took me over 6 hours because one of the girls refused to spawn.
Having plat Y0 to Y7, I have to say Yakuza 3 probably had the most difficult mini games from Darts, Mahjong 50k in one game, and Baseball. Y4 is the longest
I played through the pool mini-game in 3 for 6 straight hours without knowing about the pen trick to get completion - but that wasn't that bad because I fell into a certain rythm with it. I can't deciede berween the JCC trophy or the Legend Trophy for Kiwami 1 for the most difficult. That's a battle between pure RNG and mastering of a completly different mechanic from the main game that did not need to scale it's difficulty with the overall difficutly at all. One achievement I remember hurting me was the Climax Battles in 4. That time limit made it way harder than any other Yakuza because at least in those I could cheat with health recharge.
Sorry the algorithm is really pushing me into your channel now. I *LOVE* some of these completion points. I can't believe that you haven't ranked the Climax Battles from the ones in the series that have it. IMO I'd rather beat the game on Legend a few times than have to play through some of these Climax battles again. Loved 0, Kiwami etc, but man....some of those challenges are rough!
08:00 it’s not just luck based, just like normal rock paper scissors there is strategy involved but is actually much easier than normal rock paper scissors as there are more clues going on that you can pick up on to get a feel for your oppponent’s strategy, anyone who says this mini game is just luck based is just wrong, (I do agree that the button mashing is rigged however)
I have played all current gen yakuza games 0-7 as well as the judgment games. and i havent platinumed any except for Yakuza 7. It was INSANELY rewarding to beat that dungeon. but as someone who considers themselves a massive yakuza fan. I think not only was it satisfying to beat, but it really helped me be okay with Kiriyu taking the backseat. the extra story content at the end of this dungeon was so satisfying, i wont spoil it but the trophy was probably the least rewarding aspect of beating the True Final Millennium Tower.
Pachinko was an absolute nightmare for me in yakuza 5, the rng was never on my side, so much so that I probably spent 7 to 9 hours in this minigame alone.
Great picks, Id have pretty much chosen the same exact trophies for each (having done the Haruka SSS trust in 1HD, I was glad to see that mentioned, it took many a try to finally perfect!) Though its a spinoff and lacks trophies, Id be curious to see what pick you'd have gone for Kenzan's completion list? Because that has a few insanely tough challenges - the poem cards, the Shogi mini game needing actual Shogi skill to win (or a computer program!) and other mini games requiring basically perfection to complete. Its definitely the hardest 100% to get, in my experience at least. Guess we should be thankful mini game master in 3 remaster dropped Answer X Answer though, as that'd have made it even harder!
I really enjoyed this video, it was very well made!!! Yakuza is my favorite gaming series since I started with Yakuza 0 in 2020, and I only have 3 Platinum trophies (Yakuza 6, Yakuza LAD PS4 & PS5). I'm close to getting Platinum in some of the others, but it's a pain. My PS4 died a year ago, and my Kiwami 2 and Yakuza 5 save files went with it sadly. If I ever decide to replay those games, I'm going to have to do it from scratch, which sucks. Anyway, great video, and you earned yourself a sub!
I think I lucked out immensely with the Cat Scratch Fever trophy. It wasn't THAT bad for me (always pick Jennifer or the Brazilian girl). Learning Mahjong from scratch took much more time and energy than that. Now the shooting section for Kiwami actually made me think I wouldn't get the platinum. I think I had to redo the whole Chinese restaurant and Lau Ka Long's boss fight at least eight times. It was hell.
While JCC is def mostly RNG I will say that it's actually not "as" bad because if you pay attention to the bottom of the screen before you choose your fighter then it'll say their moods which will let you know if they're more likely to activate their ability and more likely to get rainbow attacks. And exiting and entering will reset the moods. Also pretty much always choose the option that will lose to their weakest option so if you lose you'll be getting the least amount of damage (so choose rock everytime if their paper is 2 stars and the other 2 are 4 stars). Lastly I've been mainly choosing in between Jennifer (overall "strongest" fighter and can get some guaranteed damage in at the beginning), Francisca (overall strong and comeback ability), Momoko (overall strong and regen ability), and lastly Maria (weak but come back ability and the added plus if you win you get a lot more money). This is just what I've learned (and also coming from someone who has won the billion yen challenge by predicting each match outcome several times). Hope this helps for anyone struggling!
Climax battles out here like "don't get knocked down once, btw there's 50 enemies with saws and other weapons and there's a 10 second time limit. Have fun!"
Having got the platinum on all ps4 titles (including both judgment games) I knew which ones you mentioned straight away. The hardest and most time consuming for me had to be the millennium tower dungeon in 7. Just grinding the same kamurocho dungeon time and time again to level up jobs were a pain. I must’ve maxed out at least 5 or 6 jobs for each character before finally being able to beat it. I sure hope there isn’t anything like this next time.
When I worked service industry there was a customer who'd come in to show me his Yakuza platinums as he got them. He told me he got really good at Mahjong to the point he had started playing it casually
Puyo Puyo mean bean machine challenge made me drop the Judgement Platinum after having completed everything else. Edit: As for people struggling with the remastered version of Yakuza 3 pool. I found a method that involves tying your right Analog stick with a rubber band then around, between the touch pad and options button. Yes, it looks dumb, but it actually stablises your shot. As long as you dont pull too hard. But then again a gentle flick is all that is required to win against Seiji Fucking Nakazato. Fuck that dude for reals.
Maybe I just got lucky, but for the car chase in Kiwami, I only struggled until I realized the car you are in is meant to be a shield from incoming damage. I had just been brute-forcing it up until that point by tanking all damage myself, but once I started taking cover when I wasn't going to take out an enemy in time, I actually beat it first try. For my initial playthroughs of 0 and Kiwami I never did that, but that was because I didn't need to. For Legend in Kiwami, this is a mechanic you must take advantage of, as the car can sustain way more damage than you can. But like I said, maybe I got lucky doing it first try.
Haven't watched the full video since I've only played and platinumed 0 and Kiwami so far, but fuck the Catfight/Mesuking minigame. I hope they are not in any of the later games. Also, for anyone planning to plat Kiwami,make sure to fill your inventory with shotguns before fighting the Snake Flower Triad on legend difficulty. It makes getting past them much faster if you keep failing the car chase.
fun fact, true final millennium tower was originally a dlc in the japanese release. …..so thank the devs for making it free and apart of the base game when it got localized.

I'm going for platinum on yakuza 5 at the moment, I've done 0 through 4 and my hardest moments so far was yakuza 0 cat club BS, kiwami 1 shooting section, yakuza 3 mahjong and recently yakuza 5 pachinko
I've done 0, kiwami, 4 and 5 for platinum. Currently doing 3 after 1.5 years ago finishing it, even tho it's not my favorite. 0 was the first platinum and imo the hardest thing was the space harrier and fantasy zone minigames. I literally kept an 8 month break because I couldn't beat it. (Note the pc version has it much harder than the console). The second thing that comes to mind is that Majima climax battle in the sewer, took me days. Kiwami, I remember screaming at the pocket racing a lot, but the legend car chase was the most memorable. I knew it what it was going to be and felt like giving up the whole thing, but then I took the mentality of patiently grinding it and I definitely remember my hands shaking when I finally beat it and it felt amazing. 4, might be the 2nd best after 0 imo. Remember doing a 7 hour speedrun for the normal difficulty, which was fun. Also the summer memories, which is still giving me some flashbacks, because I started trying that somewhere around 7 pm nonstop and got it at 2 am on my last try before going to sleep. The most difficult thing probably was (or at least the most memorable) the saejima's 4th pupil in the fighting school. I don't get along with many people, so you can imagine how infuriating that character was, and even more how stupid and useless he was in fights. I think that took me days to beat also, but when I finally did, I almost felt proud in a weird way. I don't remember was this even necessary for the trophies, but I did 100% anyway for the completion list. 5, I disagree with the amount of stuff being too much, I liked that there was much to do. I don't recall anything exceptionally difficult, tho maybe the coliseum with akiyama and shinada. And the akiyama's hostess after the first visit made never want to return there, I hate when people lie just to look good. Pretty sure there was also some climax battles I struggled with and other stuff I don't remember atm.
Do you have the platinum for all the spinoffs as well? I've been playing the Japanese Ishin (before it was even announced it was getting remastered), and I've been really loving it and playing it with friends and such. The platinum is so tedious with the language barrier. You wouldn't wanna divulge your secrets would you? :p
At the moment, I only have the platinums in Judgment, Lost Judgment and the original Kurohyou (though that's not a platinum in the traditional sense). When it comes to advice for any of the Yakuza platinums, you probably know the go-to spot already: CyricZ's guides on GameFaq's. Apparently Ishin is hell to platinum even without the language barrier, but I think you can do it! Sorry I can't give any concrete advice at this point in time, since I haven't played it yet.
Amazing video! Please do more yakuza related trophies! They are fun to talk about! I know this isnt a trophy and its the 100% for kiwami but,the completion to get every weapon and gear,is one of the worst things i ever done in a yakuza game,and i have the yakuza 0,3,4,6 and like a dragon plats,too much grind for no reason. I feel like like a dragon has a the perfect platinum trophy,it is kinda grindy but atleast the final dungeon is reallyyyy fun so its worth to grind.
Lucky me, the Xbox version of Yakuza 3 doesn't have the broken stick issue with Pool and Darts, so they weren't nearly as bad. Pool was still an absolute pain, though.
Lol. Thanks for this video as i now know which Yakuza series to "avoid" first then to concentrate first. My first RGGS game was actually Judgment, followed by FOTNS:LP then Lost Judgment. My FIRST Yakuza game was then Y0 (which i already plat it) For me in Y0, the car chase segment and JCC trophy is not that hard (well for me anyways). Some of the frustrating part in Y0 for me was actually completing Outrun & Fantasy Zone. Followed by the Poker then some battles in Climax. For YK1, i admit that car chase segment on legend is quite a bit annoying. But the most frustrating part is Haruka request on Rotation Pool Expert & definitely Climax Battle Melee ground 10 (where you need to fight through Tojo HQ) I am starting YK2 tomorrow, so yeah. Maybe after that, i will moved on to 4, 6, then 7. I will only start 3 and 5 once the rest had been plat.

I just finished yakuza 7 final dungeon and yeah its rough. After spending hours grinding I went in all confident thinking that maybe I even over prepared, only for the first group of enemies (not bosses, but normal enemies) to do over half my health in a single turn. Whats really frustrating is if you die at any point, theres no retry so its back to the beginning of the tower. This is especially annoying when every enemy is tanky as hell. Luckily it only took me two attempts but that first attempt I died near the end and lost an hour and a half of progress.
I started the series on XBox back around June and have been slowly making my way through them in between other games. So far have 0, Kiwami 1 and 2 done and started 3 yesterday. The huge difficulty spikes for random things or tedium definitely sucks.
I Have already Platinumed 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2. All I need are 5 more and I've done it. And Yakuza 5's platinum trophy is....probably the worst thing I've ever done. It feels endless and I fear the idea of missing one thing making me unable to finish it. Plan to do the same with the judgment games. Wish me luck. I did it......189 hours and an accidental overrided save file on legend difficulty and I have Finally Platinumed yakuza 5. Yakuza 3 is next.
Nothing in these games has ever made me angrier than the JCC achievement in Y0. To get so far, even "win" your final match and have your character start to celebrate, only to have the opponent stand back up due to their special ability (and RNG) and just 1shot you in a cutscene... Plus every attempt leads to carpal tunnel mashing the buttons each time you tie, in what is a contest that's already pre-determined (easy mash, difficult mash, impossible to mash), but you never know which of those outcomes has already been determined until you try mashing.
I truly believe Yakuza is the greatest game series ever and I was so happy when I finally got the yakuza 6 platinum but I will die happily knowing it and maybe 4 will be my only ones
As someone who did 100% on Zero and Kiwami, I can say that the most nightmarish part is the torture of extended grinding at the mercy of RNG, like mahjong win conditions (or 90% of minigames in general) and absurd tasks like climax battles.
I’m finishing up Yakuza 6 currently and I have every achievement in 0-5. Honestly, I think the Climax Battles from 0 or Kiwami 1 could have found a place on this list. Some of those are brutal.
Great video! Certain minigames and haruka requests still give me ptsd (the grindy minigames too). Honestly Mahjong isn't that bad after you learn it. (even if some lists require extremely lucky high point hands or specific hands) still fucking despise pool with all my heart though. 100% the main games was fun. but now that judgment is on pc i will have to do em both. (as a fake yakoozer pc player i cant comment on the car chase since it's piss easy on the keyboard but it did give me bad memories from 100% the dmc hd collection (the final boss for dmc 1 also had a shitty fucking space harrier mechanic like bayonetta)
Always nice to meet a fellow devil hunter! Mundus phase 1 was so annoying, I just learned to stock up on Devil Stars to get through it immediately. Doing that on DMD felt beyond justified.
Right now i am replaying yakuza 0(My favorite game btw) and trying to Platinum is really hard and frustrating sometimes (arcade games and mahjong) but it's really Fun and satisfying and i won't give up
I started the series from 0 and going in order 5 years ago. I just finished 3 and really struggled with it as I wouldn't let myself move on unless I platinum it. But after watching your video, no way in hell am I going through 100% completion trophy in 4 and 5. It was already tedious enough doing it in 0.
I've done JCC once in Zero, for Real Estate Royale and instantly hated it because it straight up seemed like the game was totally rigged against me. The RNG, the button mashing, it all seemed to be completely dead set to screw me over and I reset like three times for it before I just said screw it and let the game win. I can't imagine sitting down, and doing 10, 3 round tournaments and not wanting to snap the controller in half.
as someone who has te cat scratch fever but not the platinum for yakuza zero i see this as an absolute win 😂 i had a blast doing jcc for a reason back when i played the game wich brought me to getting this .
I've only plat'd kiwami 2 so far, i may or may not go back through to the others later on as I'm not a fan of some of the minigames and not even necessarily the most common complain of mahjong I mean it's included but it's not just that, darts are 100% included. I forgot about the stupid jcc thing where even if you knock down the opponent they might still instant KO you. My least favorite thing that I actually did in 3 was probably eat everything at every restaurant, solely because you can only eat one thing at a time and you can't unlock an ability to eat while full. What's more annoying is a didn't find out about the exploit with the fishing bait, you eat any fishing bait and your health drops letting you eat.

I love these games so much, my psn name is a reference and I have majima and kiryu tattooed on my arm, but getting the platinum for the games is probably not gonna happen, I don’t want my opinion to sour on the games from tedious stuff, so I play the games for the sub stories and defeat Amon that’s usually my stopping point. The one game I could probably platinum is 6 as I only am missing the legend difficulty trophy which won’t be too bad, next time I play through the series I think for that one I’ll crank the difficulty up and try and get at least one of the games platinum
For me, the hardest trophy to get in Yakuza 7 was the Pop the Cork trophy. I'm simply not very good at Dragon Kart. The one for completing the True Final Millennium Tower was a case of grinding everyone up and figuring out the best strategy. The grind wasn't hard, I'd just go through the sewer dungeon in Kamurocho or do a climb through the battle arena, only spending a hour at a time so I wouldn't burn out. Slightly tedious but not a problem.
I have gotten every single achievement in Yakuza 0 - 7 (Kiwami 1 and 2) and the Judgment games. I'm taking a break before I try my hand at Ishin. I can't honestly say that I've hit 100% on all of them, but I do have every single Achievement.
The minigames in Yakuza 3 are pure pain, before Yakuza 3 I was platinum'ing each game one per month, but I've been trying to platinum Yakuza 3 for 3 months now.

The dancing rhythm mini game is just too damn hard on hard difficulty. Moving steps along with then getting the button presses on time fcks with my brain. I doubt I could ever get those to 100% it. Ridiculously tough
I have the platinums for Kiwami 1 and Like a Dragon. Games are really enjoyable however it stopped being fun when I had to learn how to play Mahjong because I felt like I had to learn to get the trophy instead or learning because the gane looks interesting. Everything else is fine, is a 1 player game so you can eventually get all things done. For Like a Dragon doing the tower was pretty much luck I think. Equip sacrifice stones to each character, put lightning protection for Amon satellite attack and use Mr. Masochist one turn before Amon uses the satellite, I think it's when his life at 25% left.
Serious commitment to plat all of them, not only tough but very time consuming. I'm hoping I might manage to do Y6 but have put it on hold for God of War Ragnarok 🤣 The baseball stuff drives me mad in all the games though. The only aspect of the games I've NEVER really got to grips with One thing though: I've seen other vids showing action from the 'cat fights' and they seem fine. There isn't any true nudity, just implied.
The hardest, or should I say "impossible" for me, are the ones where the pool mechanics were messed up in the Playstation version of the remasters. Yakuza 3 for sure, and I think 5 as well? Well regardless, I managed to get the trophies for everything else outside of them but couldn't bother with that BS.
Nice presentation. I agree with some trophies especially with those from Yakuza Kiwami, 3 and 5. But IMO, trophies from Kiwami 2, 6 and 7 are easy. They're also the "easier" platinums in the entire series.
I just platinumed Y7 true final dungeon was so hard but worth it , i love how when Amon summoned guard order Kiru just stand there until you kill one of them
im on yakuza 5, have been for year now I play on and off but im playing every game in order for the first time as I never experienced yakuza on ps2 although I've always seen it; its gunna be nice platinuming all 7 games
As a person who Legended every Mainline and Spinoff Yakuza game, I can say that both Kiwami 1 and Dead Souls are two of the worst to do that on because of the car segment in K1 and overall difficulty in Dead Souls being sometimes very unfair.
I got platinum from Y0 to Y6 on PS4, for me the most difficult trophies were: Y0 it was to complete the Climax Battles, YK the boss fight of Amon, the completion of 100% of the completion list due to baseball and mahjong, Haruka's requests regarding pool and Climax Battles, YK2 with bouncer missions, Y3 with minigames about golf, baseball and fishing, Y4 with Amon's boss fight and mahjong, Y5 the Ultimate Battles and 100% of the list of completely due to the coliseum, winter combat, mahjong, fishing and taiko: drum master and Y6 with the battle of Amon. P.S. I had several difficulties with the platinum of Yakuza Kiwami because it was the first Yakuza I played, the billiards took me at least twenty hours while the mahjong several days of trying.
I can't think of any Yakuza trophies that are hard (outside of completing some of the Climax battles). Mostly, the difficulty comes down to completing the 100% list, but even then, it's exceptionally rare to find anything that's too hard. Yakuza 3 has the batting arena, which isn't much fun. And doing Kiwami's brutal car chase on Legend is a royal pain in the ass. But other than that, nothing is hard. It just takes a very long time to do it.

you can platinum 2/4/6/7/lost judgement without knowing how to play mahjong (you need to finish 10 times kiwami 2 for the mahjong item but yeah...)
I used to hate mahjong with a passion then one day someone told me mahjong was just rummy with tiles, now I’m pretty damn good.

The hardest part about the Yakuza 4 Platinum is having to contain the killing urges after globe-trotting across Kamurocho just to avoid the police, twice, for three different playthroughs.

Im gonna be honest, I actually really enjoyed my first playthrough of Yakuza 4, especially Saejima’s part. It’s easily the most unique Kamurocho in terms of traversal, and using the tunnels and rooftops to get to different places felt cool. It made the map more connected I felt. I was super disappointed tho, because when doing Master’s tunnel training it looked like the path would form up with the underground section of Purgatory, but then it just stopped.
But sewer-himbo gameplay is a very fitting choice for Saejima.
I've platted every mainline game in the series and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the hardest thing I did out of every game was expert pool in 3. The slightest touch on the stick was enough to mess up my shot. I spent literal days slaving over trying to get it. I cried actual tears of joy when I finally finished it. Still love Yakuza 3 though lol
Y3 was a mess with minigames. Especially pool. There is NO LINE, you'll just have to guess where the bill is going to land. Took me two weeks to get through with minigame trophy. I hope new Yakuza games will be more similar to Judgment series with completion. Thankfully, if you suck at games like mahjong, you can cheat the highest rank tables with buyable cheat items. Not worth it if you know the drill, but useful if there's this one table you can't get over.

Bruh the broken pool took literally a week to complete. After this trip to hell every other pool trophies in the series were like a walk in the park
Just for anyone who sees it I found a workaround for the pool in 3. The issue is the sensetivity is set for ps3 era analogue sticks that didn't have the level of responsiveness so ANY lateral movement on the right stick skews the shot. The workaround is to use remote play on a PC or laptop, plug in your controller and use a mapping tool like ds4 and simply create a controller profile that is the same as your default but unbind the right analogue stick left and right. This means your shots will always be straight. I did the pool the hard way then tried it this way and it was so much easier.

At least you didn't fully complete almost every single thing in Yakuza 5 then realize at some point you somehow discarded a crafting item only available ONCE to Saejima and never again so your almost fully complete Y5 file is ruined forever and CANNOT be finished... That one REALLY broke me and I am still so bitter about it, even THINKING about redoing pool, pachinko, eating all food, all the side stories... It all makes me sick to my stomach. Honestly ridiculous they never patched this and I don't think I'll ever be over it.
Really sorry to hear that. Similar thing happened to me when trying to platinum Kurohyou 2. Just step away from it for a while. Maybe you'll get a nostalgia hit that helps you redo it in the future. Even if not, you've still done one hell of a job with it.

The True Final Millennium Tower was hands down one of THE most excruciating things I've ever completed in a game, especially since I only took the time to fully level up one job for all of the characters. Took me well over 20 tries. But as soon as I beat it, I have never had a moment where I was more satisfied, proud, and relieved.
Meh it was easy, compared to early smt games i beat the true final millennium tower on my second try

I agree with you in Yakuza 5 and Kiwami 1. Yakuza 5 I finished with 116 hours and it took me like a few months to end the game itself. As for Kiwami 1 the hardest part I can agree with the chapter 9 but THE POOL HARUKA REQUEST give me nightmares for how unforgiving it is. It took me 2 hours of try and error.
Im going for Yakuza Kiwami now after I platinumed the Yakuza 0, and what I do are Haruka’s requests. I think I read that you can win at Baccarat request and then go to make a clear save. That makes a bug in which you don’t get the pool request but baccarat again, so I dunno if I should go for it lol.

Took me forever to realise shooting them in the head is what you had to do despite the huge ass circle in the middle of their bodies, and of course revoking my real Yakuza status by using mouse to get it over with. Legend difficulty on kiwami should be renamed car chase difficulty from now on because of this

when you have fought lau ka long so many times you speedrun through his health so fast the game breaks and he takes ages to switch phases and finish the fight
I jokingly decided to enter the true final millenium tower with a friend in the party. I say it was a joke because I actually wanted to grind more before doing it (I only had the elemental attacks and level 99 on the main jobs, as well as unmaxxed weapons)
After some hours of pain, I was actually about to go through the transition just before kiryu but my controller is hot garbage (dualshock moment) and I accidentally selected the option to LEAVE the tower. My friend laughed his ass off.
Then I just went back in and somehow beat Amon first try. Fight literally took over an hour, i was deliberating every turn for even minutes at a time, using my rarest items. After I took out the ads (putting it lightly) and did more damage to Amon, out came the orbital. It wiped EVERYONE, and Ichiban only survived because of the skill that lets him survive a killing blow. Amon used his instakill right after but Ichi survived, I knew I had the accessory that prevents it. I managed to get everyone back into the fight and win.
I was really happy because I'd just beat him first try and had just saved myself probably 15 more hours of grinding.
The funniest part about this is that I basically did it on a whim, which means that I didn't actually have the instakill protect on ichi. I really could have lost right at the end.
TL;DR I beat the True Final Millenium tower on a whim because a friend told me to

Not a throphy/achievement but doing all Haruka's requests in Y3 is painful, including near perfect bowling and near the pin golf.
Not to be that person but you didn't have to do the Haruka Request in Y3. Because there was no achievement over that but maybe or maybe not is because I am closes finishing the game 100% The real challenge that took me so much hours of Joy, Pain and tears Was Mahjong by getting 1 title, Pool all dificulty and Darts which has to be the most sensitive of all time. I don't know If GOLF Counts has a pain but I didn't have problem but What did broke me in golf was -5 and the stupid thing that not show the meter bar is had to guess.
Thank god Haruka requests aren't neccesary in Y3. The worst thing in Y3 was Golf. Mahjong achievement is luck based but you will get it fairly early. There is a trick to Darts where you can always land Triple 20 and for Pool, I used a ruler LOL
One of the hardest trophies for me was the mahjong one for Yakuza 4, the 7 pairs. And if I remember right you have to get stumo instead of Ron.
You can get 7 pairs from Ron or Tsumo I believe.
I like Yakuza but any completion list item/trophy that requires a specific hand is just silly. You just spend ages playing badly until you get a starting hand that actually works for the relevant yaku

Yea this is going to sound masochistic but I plan on Platinuming EVERY single Yakuza game and by that I mean EVERY version. All 36 games. All in completely different languages and control schemes. I adore this series and I really cant get enough of it. Should be an interesting time for sure.

Yakuza Like a Dragon was my first game in the series and I absolutely adored it! I got the platinum and everything, and part of me wants to platinum through the whole series before Y8 comes around, but this list is making me second guess myself 😅
I've got every achievement for almost every Yakuza game on Steam with the exception of 3 (and for some reason I bothered to platnium Dead Souls).
I do believe there is some logic to the catfights in 0 of what moves certain characters are likely to use, someone compiled their experience online and it was similar to mine but it really does just come down to RNG all the way. I went 4 hours with no wins then got 6 in 2 hours. The worst part though are the misleading QTEs that the game literally cheats to win no matter how quick you are.
The Kiwami one is accurate, failed 4 or 5 times before I finally got it. I would also say the Mahjong full straight requirement took me an absurdly longer time than it should have.
Kiwami 2 the bouncer missions are perhaps the most tedious thing I've ever went through in any of these games. Runner up being 30 mahjong wins that broke my brain enough to the point where I came to enjoy the minigame.
Yakuza 3... I saw golf, I saw how many substories there were, how slow the hostess thing was, how difficult the Kanda fight was on normal and just said no.
Yakuza 4 was easy enough but good god, Akiyama's hostess minigame is insanely boring and has a missable achievement. The worst part is that it's apparently 'improved' from Y3.
Yakuza 5... yeah there's so much content. It's admirable how much stuff is in the game but damn, did they need to make all of it mandatory for the completion list? Beating the collesium with Akiyama is the chokepoint, if you can win all the tournaments with him then you're probably good to go but pool makes me want to tear my hair out.
Y6 pretty easy.
Y7 easy but time consuming.
Dead Souls is ok but if you want the platnium efficiently, you need to beat the game at least 3 times on different difficulties. There's a turret section on Dead Souls (legend) difficulty that is even worse than the Kiwami section. There's also the tunnels to get to Amon where you need to make your way through 50 floors and if you die it's back to square one. It takes like an hour and a half to actually get to him and the fight is over in less than a minute.
Apologises for the stupidly long comment but I had to vent, I could feel my blood pressure rise as I was reliving these clips. Nice video mate.
Yakuza 3 really isn't that hard if you get komakis 3 techniques and you can get them by chapter 5. Seriously, komaki parry and tiger drop is a godsend. Golf is also super easy once you get the hang of it, but may God have mercy on your soul with the pool controls. It's actually just broken
I actually didn't have much trouble with the car section in Kiwami. For me, the hardest part of getting 100% in that game was the Pool minigame for Haruka SSS. The ai in that match is quite literally perfect, and if you don't go first, you cannot win.
There’s a glitch you can do to get SSS rank by not having to do like the last 5-6 request
Wining the 1vs100 fight in the colosseum with Akiyama in Y5 was such a pain in the ass.
Grab, taunt, launch, triple kick, repeat to fill up the climax bar, climax move at start of round, kick the crawling enemies, rinse, repeat. Easy as hell if you do it that way.
I've completed Kiwami on legend, defeated amon in 6 and even went through true final millennium tower. I didn't have to to any of that but I did purely just to say "I did that" 😂
Lost Judgment and LAD are the only games I've yet to 100% and if I had to choose my picks, Judgment's mahjong, Y3's pool and Y5's fishing were the things that nearly broke me.
Additionally a thing that just made my day worse were the minigames in 0 just cause of how long they took with no cheat items.
0's minigames are inexcusably luck dependent. The one where you have to go on a date with all the girls took me over 6 hours because one of the girls refused to spawn.
You must be talking about the wareme rule. As a mahjong player, I despised that rule and side quest requirement.
Having plat Y0 to Y7, I have to say Yakuza 3 probably had the most difficult mini games from Darts, Mahjong 50k in one game, and Baseball. Y4 is the longest
I played through the pool mini-game in 3 for 6 straight hours without knowing about the pen trick to get completion - but that wasn't that bad because I fell into a certain rythm with it. I can't deciede berween the JCC trophy or the Legend Trophy for Kiwami 1 for the most difficult. That's a battle between pure RNG and mastering of a completly different mechanic from the main game that did not need to scale it's difficulty with the overall difficutly at all. (Thanks for the shout out btw)

One achievement I remember hurting me was the Climax Battles in 4. That time limit made it way harder than any other Yakuza because at least in those I could cheat with health recharge.

I can't believe that you haven't ranked the Climax Battles from the ones in the series that have it. IMO I'd rather beat the game on Legend a few times than have to play through some of these Climax battles again. Loved 0, Kiwami etc, but man....some of those challenges are rough!
08:00 it’s not just luck based, just like normal rock paper scissors there is strategy involved but is actually much easier than normal rock paper scissors as there are more clues going on that you can pick up on to get a feel for your oppponent’s strategy, anyone who says this mini game is just luck based is just wrong, (I do agree that the button mashing is rigged however)
I have played all current gen yakuza games 0-7 as well as the judgment games. and i havent platinumed any except for Yakuza 7. It was INSANELY rewarding to beat that dungeon. but as someone who considers themselves a massive yakuza fan. I think not only was it satisfying to beat, but it really helped me be okay with Kiriyu taking the backseat. the extra story content at the end of this dungeon was so satisfying, i wont spoil it but the trophy was probably the least rewarding aspect of beating the True Final Millennium Tower.

Pachinko was an absolute nightmare for me in yakuza 5, the rng was never on my side, so much so that I probably spent 7 to 9 hours in this minigame alone.
Great picks, Id have pretty much chosen the same exact trophies for each (having done the Haruka SSS trust in 1HD, I was glad to see that mentioned, it took many a try to finally perfect!)
Though its a spinoff and lacks trophies, Id be curious to see what pick you'd have gone for Kenzan's completion list? Because that has a few insanely tough challenges - the poem cards, the Shogi mini game needing actual Shogi skill to win (or a computer program!) and other mini games requiring basically perfection to complete. Its definitely the hardest 100% to get, in my experience at least.
Guess we should be thankful mini game master in 3 remaster dropped Answer X Answer though, as that'd have made it even harder!
I really enjoyed this video, it was very well made!!! Yakuza is my favorite gaming series since I started with Yakuza 0 in 2020, and I only have 3 Platinum trophies (Yakuza 6, Yakuza LAD PS4 & PS5). I'm close to getting Platinum in some of the others, but it's a pain. My PS4 died a year ago, and my Kiwami 2 and Yakuza 5 save files went with it sadly. If I ever decide to replay those games, I'm going to have to do it from scratch, which sucks.

I think I lucked out immensely with the Cat Scratch Fever trophy. It wasn't THAT bad for me (always pick Jennifer or the Brazilian girl). Learning Mahjong from scratch took much more time and energy than that.
Now the shooting section for Kiwami actually made me think I wouldn't get the platinum. I think I had to redo the whole Chinese restaurant and Lau Ka Long's boss fight at least eight times. It was hell.
I tried 22 times. Managed to get to the final scene with the truck driver twice. Then I gave up. RIP platinum
While JCC is def mostly RNG I will say that it's actually not "as" bad because if you pay attention to the bottom of the screen before you choose your fighter then it'll say their moods which will let you know if they're more likely to activate their ability and more likely to get rainbow attacks. And exiting and entering will reset the moods. Also pretty much always choose the option that will lose to their weakest option so if you lose you'll be getting the least amount of damage (so choose rock everytime if their paper is 2 stars and the other 2 are 4 stars). Lastly I've been mainly choosing in between Jennifer (overall "strongest" fighter and can get some guaranteed damage in at the beginning), Francisca (overall strong and comeback ability), Momoko (overall strong and regen ability), and lastly Maria (weak but come back ability and the added plus if you win you get a lot more money). Having got the platinum on all ps4 titles (including both judgment games) I knew which ones you mentioned straight away. The hardest and most time consuming for me had to be the millennium tower dungeon in 7. Just grinding the same kamurocho dungeon time and time again to level up jobs were a pain. I must’ve maxed out at least 5 or 6 jobs for each character before finally being able to beat it. I sure hope there isn’t anything like this next time.
When I worked service industry there was a customer who'd come in to show me his Yakuza platinums as he got them. He told me he got really good at Mahjong to the point he had started playing it casually

As for people struggling with the remastered version of Yakuza 3 pool. I found a method that involves tying your right Analog stick with a rubber band then around, between the touch pad and options button.
Yes, it looks dumb, but it actually stablises your shot. As long as you dont pull too hard. But then again a gentle flick is all that is required to win against Seiji Fucking Nakazato. Fuck that dude for reals.
Maybe I just got lucky, but for the car chase in Kiwami, I only struggled until I realized the car you are in is meant to be a shield from incoming damage. I had just been brute-forcing it up until that point by tanking all damage myself, but once I started taking cover when I wasn't going to take out an enemy in time, I actually beat it first try. For my initial playthroughs of 0 and Kiwami I never did that, but that was because I didn't need to. For Legend in Kiwami, this is a mechanic you must take advantage of, as the car can sustain way more damage than you can. But like I said, maybe I got lucky doing it first try.
Haven't watched the full video since I've only played and platinumed 0 and Kiwami so far, but fuck the Catfight/Mesuking minigame. I hope they are not in any of the later games. Also, for anyone planning to plat Kiwami,make sure to fill your inventory with shotguns before fighting the Snake Flower Triad on legend difficulty. It makes getting past them much faster if you keep failing the car chase.
fun fact, true final millennium tower was originally a dlc in the japanese release. …..so thank the devs for making it free and apart of the base game when it got localized.

I'm going for platinum on yakuza 5 at the moment, I've done 0 through 4 and my hardest moments so far was yakuza 0 cat club BS, kiwami 1 shooting section, yakuza 3 mahjong and recently yakuza 5 pachinko
I've done 0, kiwami, 4 and 5 for platinum. Currently doing 3 after 1.5 years ago finishing it, even tho it's not my favorite.
0 was the first platinum and imo the hardest thing was the space harrier and fantasy zone minigames. I literally kept an 8 month break because I couldn't beat it. (Note the pc version has it much harder than the console). The second thing that comes to mind is that Majima climax battle in the sewer, took me days.
Kiwami, I remember screaming at the pocket racing a lot, but the legend car chase was the most memorable. I knew it what it was going to be and felt like giving up the whole thing, but then I took the mentality of patiently grinding it and I definitely remember my hands shaking when I finally beat it and it felt amazing.
4, might be the 2nd best after 0 imo. Remember doing a 7 hour speedrun for the normal difficulty, which was fun. Also the summer memories, which is still giving me some flashbacks, because I started trying that somewhere around 7 pm nonstop and got it at 2 am on my last try before going to sleep. The most difficult thing probably was (or at least the most memorable) the saejima's 4th pupil in the fighting school. I don't get along with many people, so you can imagine how infuriating that character was, and even more how stupid and useless he was in fights. I think that took me days to beat also, but when I finally did, I almost felt proud in a weird way. I don't remember was this even necessary for the trophies, but I did 100% anyway for the completion list.
5, I disagree with the amount of stuff being too much, I liked that there was much to do. I don't recall anything exceptionally difficult, tho maybe the coliseum with akiyama and shinada. And the akiyama's hostess after the first visit made never want to return there, I hate when people lie just to look good.
Pretty sure there was also some climax battles I struggled with and other stuff I don't remember atm.
Do you have the platinum for all the spinoffs as well? I've been playing the Japanese Ishin (before it was even announced it was getting remastered), and I've been really loving it and playing it with friends and such. The platinum is so tedious with the language barrier. You wouldn't wanna divulge your secrets would you? :p
At the moment, I only have the platinums in Judgment, Lost Judgment and the original Kurohyou (though that's not a platinum in the traditional sense). When it comes to advice for any of the Yakuza platinums, you probably know the go-to spot already: CyricZ's guides on GameFaq's. Apparently Ishin is hell to platinum even without the language barrier, but I think you can do it! Sorry I can't give any concrete advice at this point in time, since I haven't played it yet.

I know this isnt a trophy and its the 100% for kiwami but,the completion to get every weapon and gear,is one of the worst things i ever done in a yakuza game,and i have the yakuza 0,3,4,6 and like a dragon plats,too much grind for no reason.
I feel like like a dragon has a the perfect platinum trophy,it is kinda grindy but atleast the final dungeon is reallyyyy fun so its worth to grind.
Lucky me, the Xbox version of Yakuza 3 doesn't have the broken stick issue with Pool and Darts, so they weren't nearly as bad. Pool was still an absolute pain, though.
Lol. Thanks for this video as i now know which Yakuza series to "avoid" first then to concentrate first. My first RGGS game was actually Judgment, followed by FOTNS:LP then Lost Judgment.
My FIRST Yakuza game was then Y0 (which i already plat it) For me in Y0, the car chase segment and JCC trophy is not that hard (well for me anyways). Some of the frustrating part in Y0 for me was actually completing Outrun & Fantasy Zone. Followed by the Poker then some battles in Climax.
For YK1, i admit that car chase segment on legend is quite a bit annoying. But the most frustrating part is Haruka request on Rotation Pool Expert & definitely Climax Battle Melee ground 10 (where you need to fight through Tojo HQ)
I am starting YK2 tomorrow, so yeah. Maybe after that, i will moved on to 4, 6, then 7. I will only start 3 and 5 once the rest had been plat.

I just finished yakuza 7 final dungeon and yeah its rough. After spending hours grinding I went in all confident thinking that maybe I even over prepared, only for the first group of enemies (not bosses, but normal enemies) to do over half my health in a single turn. Whats really frustrating is if you die at any point, theres no retry so its back to the beginning of the tower. This is especially annoying when every enemy is tanky as hell. Luckily it only took me two attempts but that first attempt I died near the end and lost an hour and a half of progress.

I started the series on XBox back around June and have been slowly making my way through them in between other games.
So far have 0, Kiwami 1 and 2 done and started 3 yesterday. The huge difficulty spikes for random things or tedium definitely sucks.
I may not adore Yakuza 3 Remastered...but I certainly enjoyed getting the platinum (currently working on getting the Platinum for Like a Dragon)
I can get every achievement so long as mahjong isn't involved in anyway

I Have already Platinumed 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2. All I need are 5 more and I've done it. And Yakuza 5's platinum trophy is....probably the worst thing I've ever done. It feels endless and I fear the idea of missing one thing making me unable to finish it. Plan to do the same with the judgment games. Wish me luck.
I did it......189 hours and an accidental overrided save file on legend difficulty and I have Finally Platinumed yakuza 5. Yakuza 3 is next.
Nothing in these games has ever made me angrier than the JCC achievement in Y0. To get so far, even "win" your final match and have your character start to celebrate, only to have the opponent stand back up due to their special ability (and RNG) and just 1shot you in a cutscene...
Plus every attempt leads to carpal tunnel mashing the buttons each time you tie, in what is a contest that's already pre-determined (easy mash, difficult mash, impossible to mash), but you never know which of those outcomes has already been determined until you try mashing.
I truly believe Yakuza is the greatest game series ever and I was so happy when I finally got the yakuza 6 platinum but I will die happily knowing it and maybe 4 will be my only ones
As someone who did 100% on Zero and Kiwami, I can say that the most nightmarish part is the torture of extended grinding at the mercy of RNG, like mahjong win conditions (or 90% of minigames in general) and absurd tasks like climax battles.
I’m finishing up Yakuza 6 currently and I have every achievement in 0-5. Honestly, I think the Climax Battles from 0 or Kiwami 1 could have found a place on this list. Some of those are brutal.

Honestly Mahjong isn't that bad after you learn it. (even if some lists require extremely lucky high point hands or specific hands) still fucking despise pool with all my heart though. 100% the main games was fun. but now that judgment is on pc i will have to do em both.
(as a fake yakoozer pc player i cant comment on the car chase since it's piss easy on the keyboard but it did give me bad memories from 100% the dmc hd collection (the final boss for dmc 1 also had a shitty fucking space harrier mechanic like bayonetta)
Always nice to meet a fellow devil hunter! Mundus phase 1 was so annoying, I just learned to stock up on Devil Stars to get through it immediately. Doing that on DMD felt beyond justified.
Right now i am replaying yakuza 0(My favorite game btw) and trying to Platinum is really hard and frustrating sometimes (arcade games and mahjong) but it's really Fun and satisfying and i won't give up
I started the series from 0 and going in order 5 years ago. I just finished 3 and really struggled with it as I wouldn't let myself move on unless I platinum it. But after watching your video, no way in hell am I going through 100% completion trophy in 4 and 5. It was already tedious enough doing it in 0.
I've done JCC once in Zero, for Real Estate Royale and instantly hated it because it straight up seemed like the game was totally rigged against me. The RNG, the button mashing, it all seemed to be completely dead set to screw me over and I reset like three times for it before I just said screw it and let the game win.
I can't imagine sitting down, and doing 10, 3 round tournaments and not wanting to snap the controller in half.

I've only plat'd kiwami 2 so far, i may or may not go back through to the others later on as I'm not a fan of some of the minigames and not even necessarily the most common complain of mahjong I mean it's included but it's not just that, darts are 100% included. I forgot about the stupid jcc thing where even if you knock down the opponent they might still instant KO you. My least favorite thing that I actually did in 3 was probably eat everything at every restaurant, solely because you can only eat one thing at a time and you can't unlock an ability to eat while full. What's more annoying is a didn't find out about the exploit with the fishing bait, you eat any fishing bait and your health drops letting you eat.
Got all yakuza platinum and i m proud to had it all since its my top 1 favourite franchise.
Oh God that car chase In kiwami one on legend had lau's theme burned into my mind to this day and I still had to switch controls to beat it

I love these games so much, my psn name is a reference and I have majima and kiryu tattooed on my arm, but getting the platinum for the games is probably not gonna happen, I don’t want my opinion to sour on the games from tedious stuff, so I play the games for the sub stories and defeat Amon that’s usually my stopping point.
The one game I could probably platinum is 6 as I only am missing the legend difficulty trophy which won’t be too bad, next time I play through the series I think for that one I’ll crank the difficulty up and try and get at least one of the games platinum
For me, the hardest trophy to get in Yakuza 7 was the Pop the Cork trophy. I'm simply not very good at Dragon Kart.
The one for completing the True Final Millennium Tower was a case of grinding everyone up and figuring out the best strategy. The grind wasn't hard, I'd just go through the sewer dungeon in Kamurocho or do a climb through the battle arena, only spending a hour at a time so I wouldn't burn out. Slightly tedious but not a problem.

I'm taking a break before I try my hand at Ishin.
I can't honestly say that I've hit 100% on all of them, but I do have every single Achievement.
TFMT was very rewarding to beat. I am so glad that I decided to play Yakuza 7. I hope I get to try the other games in the series
Yakuza 7 is a really good game. It's a shame that so many people turned away from it because it was turn-based.

The dancing rhythm mini game is just too damn hard on hard difficulty. Moving steps along with then getting the button presses on time fcks with my brain. I doubt I could ever get those to 100% it. Ridiculously tough
I have the platinums for Kiwami 1 and Like a Dragon. Games are really enjoyable however it stopped being fun when I had to learn how to play Mahjong because I felt like I had to learn to get the trophy instead or learning because the gane looks interesting. Everything else is fine, is a 1 player game so you can eventually get all things done.
For Like a Dragon doing the tower was pretty much luck I think. Equip sacrifice stones to each character, put lightning protection for Amon satellite attack and use Mr. Masochist one turn before Amon uses the satellite, I think it's when his life at 25% left.

Y6 is the easiest among the series.. don't worry bout it.. for baseball minigame and tournament I look at CyricZ guide for it..
The hardest, or should I say "impossible" for me, are the ones where the pool mechanics were messed up in the Playstation version of the remasters. Yakuza 3 for sure, and I think 5 as well? Well regardless, I managed to get the trophies for everything else outside of them but couldn't bother with that BS.
Nice presentation. I agree with some trophies especially with those from Yakuza Kiwami, 3 and 5. But IMO, trophies from Kiwami 2, 6 and 7 are easy. They're also the "easier" platinums in the entire series.

As a person who Legended every Mainline and Spinoff Yakuza game, I can say that both Kiwami 1 and Dead Souls are two of the worst to do that on because of the car segment in K1 and overall difficulty in Dead Souls being sometimes very unfair.
You should do a similar video like hardest items to obtain in each game
I got platinum from Y0 to Y6 on PS4, for me the most difficult trophies were: Y0 it was to complete the Climax Battles, YK the boss fight of Amon, the completion of 100% of the completion list due to baseball and mahjong, Haruka's requests regarding pool and Climax Battles, YK2 with bouncer missions, Y3 with minigames about golf, baseball and fishing, Y4 with Amon's boss fight and mahjong, Y5 the Ultimate Battles and 100% of the list of completely due to the coliseum, winter combat, mahjong, fishing and taiko: drum master and Y6 with the battle of Amon. P.S. I had several difficulties with the platinum of Yakuza Kiwami because it was the first Yakuza I played, the billiards took me at least twenty hours while the mahjong several days of trying.
I can't think of any Yakuza trophies that are hard (outside of completing some of the Climax battles).
Mostly, the difficulty comes down to completing the 100% list, but even then, it's exceptionally rare to find anything that's too hard.
Yakuza 3 has the batting arena, which isn't much fun. And doing Kiwami's brutal car chase on Legend is a royal pain in the ass.
But other than that, nothing is hard. It just takes a very long time to do it.
