    The sirrus is the best bike ever! Better than a road bike IMO. I will always ride the Sirrus till the end- it is a lifelong bike.

      Same! I ride pavement 99% or the time but sometimes I’m forced onto the sidewalk or come across a short stretch of dirt road along my route. I don’t want a bike that can’t even go on GRASS lmao. This bike is a perfect road bike for those who just simply like to excercise and aren’t out trying to set records but still want a good road bike that isn’t stopped by *gasp* GRASS or a brick paved road.. lmao that’s pathetic 😂

    I recently picked this bike up and can totally agree with everything said in this video. This is my first real bike as an adult and I absolutely love it, it really is fast and light as well great on handling. Cool little note, inside the handle bar there is an Allen wrench to take off the tire & make other adjustments on the bike. Thumbs up on this great review!

    I bought a 3.0 a few weeks ago and it is fast. Can't imagine the 4.0 being that much faster. Wish I had a chance to compare the rwo but its a sellers market now and you just have to choose from what's available.

    Just brought the 2021 this past Saturday on Halloween...I had to travel 175miles from NY to Massachusetts..I brought the XL since im 6foot 3...they have a Large in silver and a lavender in L still available at "Landry bikes"...Jack and Danny were really helpful..the bike just glides and is very swift..I stopped riding my silver 2021 cannondale quick 3 after riding this full carbon 4.0 sirrus..what a big difference..the video does no justice but in person the bike is sexy and sleek looking..P.S. what happen to Cannondale?? They use to keep up with the competition like specialized, trek, and giant.

    Just picked up one Saturday night, didn't even get to ride it a mile when I noticed some horrible clicking and noise coming from the crank/bottom bracket area. Ended up returning it today. I will say this bike is light and the R9 shifters are amazing. I just wish it had furture shock!

    A little late to this great video but I just got the Sirrus X 5.0. My local shop had the only XL which I had my eye on for months.. week after week I’d check to see if it was still on the racks and it kept calling out to me, lol! In the short time I’ve had it I’m already blown away by how light and quick and responsive it feels.. the FS stem was one of the main reasons I took the jump.. All things in moderation but looking to upgrade the pedals and seat for now. Any recommendations?

    • @TheBicycleRider
      @TheBicycleRider  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Congratulations on the new X 5.0. We have ridden that bike it's awesome! We really like the Crank Brothers flats even the stamp 1.0 is a pretty good pedal for the type of riding you're going to do on that bike. If you decide to clip in think about the crank brothers candies they're a good versatile pedal compared to a straight up road setup in case you want to get off your bike and walk into a coffee shop or run some errands.

    Excellent video! This bike is now going for $1,500. How much of a speed difference between the 4.0 and 3.0? You also mentioned that the 4.0 is of a higher quality than the other aluminum bikes. I was thinking about the 3.0 but having viewed this video I would consider this bike. The 3.0 comes in a black and red that looks amazing! What are your thoughts? BTW, you look very fit and in good shape. Thanks

    I've been waiting for this review! Now the tough decision on whether is worth spending the extra $400 over the Sirrus 3?
    Are quick releases that big a deal on bikes with disc brakes? in other other words issues with alignment when reinstalling. Guessing you won't have that issue with thru axles?
    Since this is a size Large, this isn't too big? I'm 5'9" like you so just trying to gauge size

    • @GSUnit21
      @GSUnit21 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would do the large if you’re 5’9. I am 5’10 and they run a little bit small. I had a medium but my brand new 🌈Sirrus 6.0 is a large!! check my review for better info @gsunit21

    I’m sure you’ve done vids on the sirrus 2.0 and the sirrus x I’ve gone ahead and bought the sirrus 2.0 but am wondering what size tyre I can put in it?
    I have 700x35 on there as standard but as the sirrus x has 42mm is that possible on the sirrus 2.0 ? Are the forks width the same on both bikes ? Any help much appreciated, I don’t need room for fenders

    • @TheBicycleRider
      @TheBicycleRider  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the clearance is different on the two bikes the X can accommodate much wider tires , we have mounted 700x37 on the regular Sirrus but that's pushing it .

    • @TheBicycleRider
      @TheBicycleRider  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are alway riding on a hard surface, the Sirrus 4.0 is a great bike. If you ever ride on gravel, or if your local roads have a lot of construction, or maybe you sometimes find sand on your roads, the larger tires on the Sirrus X 4.0 would be better. We are located near the beach, and a strong windy day can blow sand from the beach across our roads. So the best choose depends mostly on where you will be riding.

    This bike blows bro. Streets of Los Angeles are like a 3rd world country. I’m constantly spending money on new rims and inner tubes. Hitting pot holes or bumps on the road too fast and there goes the rims. Buy a mountain bike instead.
