Wow! I downloaded your Octatrack videos a while ago. Today I watched them all. 10 years later, they are still the best video we can found and believe me, I watched almost every single Octatrack video that exist on YT.
This is a treasure chest of sounds and possibilities, so glad I have an OT, I’m still in the infant stage but vids like yours keep me inspired and teach me. Thanks
You’re tutorials have been beyond helpful...they are great. But man, the LFOs on the OT, have really challenged me. Not easy...for me. Anyway, you have really clarified the use and understanding of the OT’s LFOs Can’t thank you enough.....
Hi! You simply select a pattern by holding the "pattern" button and a trigger. Select a different bank by holding the "bank" button, pressing a trigger, then pressing a trigger to pick the pattern within that bank. You get 4 parts per bank, so a total of 64 parts. You can assign a part to a pattern by holding Function + Part and then picking on of the 4 parts with the navigation arrows. Remember to save your Parts :) Cheers !
haha, this is actually how I entered it in...but for the sake of knowing what to expect, I kept it in there prerecorded. Loving the different trigger modes though.
I never knew the Octatrack was a real synthesizer and drum machine besides a sampler and sequencer! Elektron never really says that because they would never sell their other products! By far their best product in spite of its flaws and learning curve and menu diving.

It can indeed be anything you want it to be :) It's a beast !
@aikighost who knows...it may come...Elektron have shown that they definitely listen to what we have to say! For now, make the best of what you have!
@freetacorrective Ha! grats on your new purchase ! These should help you get started in style :) Enjoy!
