I'm a little sad that these Trig Modes don't get more love on TH-cam. Do a search for 'Octatrack Trig Modes', and only a handful of demonstrations pop up. I cannot express how useful the 'Quick Mute' Trig Mode has been to just tinkering around and playing with my tunes.
Holy shizzle. You guys at HQ deserve a long holiday break for all this effort.
I am getting the OT to stave off altzhaimers, a better memory game than sudoku!
I'm going to have to watch these videos like 20 times a piece if I am going to understand what in the world is going on with this machine.

One question, if anyone could help at all.. I have an issue with muting on the octatrack. I’ve noticed when you mute a track it cuts off the whole sound all together, but I was wondering if there is a way of muting but letting the sample trigger without it cutting out so abruptly? As on the rytm you can mute without it cutting the sample back.

What a powerful feature...
my octatrack wont give me any feedback in chromatic mode, any solutions? I pick a sample and can put down trig to make a sound but when i switch to chromatic mode the sound no longer works, i have also tried changing the sample and the octaves nothing seems to work
In the Chromatic trigger mode, can samples be played from an external keyboard just like older samplers? Can the Octatrack be used in the same way a Roland Integra is used? As an S+S synthesizer.
Can you develope a bit more on how to record live trigs played in chromatic into sequencer?

I feel ur pain, I'll be releasing good tutorials once I feel I have a better grip on this thing, I'm nowhere near finished learning it but I can use it fairly comfortably for some applications as of now
