Mox Man, Can you call out Wizards and especially Rosewater for changing the pull rates of the play boosters. Especially after he said play boosters will be more expensive but you will get more rares and mythic's to even out the price increase. But now they reduced the chance to get multiple rares in a pack. This is really a shady bait and switch business practice. Thanks.
you guys just need to stop buying new product from them. all i see is these videos complaining and yet advertising to buy MTG product. Less cards of inferior quality for higher price, yet you keep buying new product.
Huge bait and switch with this set in what they did with the pull rates for the play boosters. Worst play booster box I've ever opened. Pulled only two alt arts and one borderless art. Like seriously wtf.
#Boomstick buddy!!!! Havent watched in a while, i havent even playes mtg in a bit. I get married on aug 3 and my brother and the boys are coming ocer tonight to draft bloomburrow. Hoping for a great evening of carda!
I noticed that while paying a higher price for a Play Booster box, I got less rares and mythics than I did from the now defunct Set Booster boxes. This is yet another example of Wizards charging more and giving less back. Yes, a lot of cards have gone down in price. I cannot stand the GAMES all of the sellers on TCGPlayer keep on doing. Half the sellers will sell the cards for a couple of dollars higher and charge a low shipping price. The other half sells the cards lower but charge double or triple the shipping price. A lot of these cards are listed as presale and I could not order them. Thank you for the video Mox Man. RAMBLE JAMBLE!
As someone who is starting to get into standard and enjoys draft it really feels like the perfect set for the start of a new rotation. Cards are inexpensive to buy right now for building standard decks. and the draft environment seems really fun and isn't too dominated by huge bombs every other pack. It seems like a set to get new players and I think its succeeded in that.
What current sets in constructed formats synergize well with Bloomburrow? Seems a set in a design vacuum.. Bloomburrow from a flavor perspective is good, but reminds me of Lorwyn block which was very self-contained and ultimately suffered from a power level and synergy with other sets level and didn’t ultimately sell well.
Lizards are all bascically outlaws and commit crimes. which fits in perfectly with the other outlaws and crime cards in Thunder Junction (many of which are also lizards). bats pretty much gave us the new base for life gain decks (alot of old pieces rotated out). We already had alot of good rats that were pretty good in standard. many of the archetypes arent actually that dependent on the creature type. There is plenty of synergy with other sets and this is the first set in rotation so I am sure other cards will also get supported.

I opened a pre-release and a bundle and was disappointed. Very few mythics and rares and SO MANY duplicates. I probable have 3-4 each of around 12 cards. This is crazy for the prices they charge.
The card values at this time are perfect for set collectors to get your sets together. I believe that some of the singles from Bloomburrow found their bottom last week. (not financial advice).
It's not always speculators. I recently picked up 50 copies of Smoke Bomb. I think it's a versatile card, useful both offensively and defensively. I also have 50+ decks. Want to shut down Nadu for a turn? cast a Smoke Bomb. Want to make your bruiser unblockable? Cast a Smoke Bomb...
I got a prerelease pack. 6 boosters, 7 rares. One of the rares was in the foil slot. Very unimpressed. I don't really want to buy more. I'll cherry pick this one and buy more Strixhaven or Wilds, something that's actually fun to open
We’ll see. I think this will be one of the highest prints of a set in a while. They know their fan base has become very effeminate and want to cash in with the cutesie animals.
You have a thing with MTG players being effeminate, yet here you are on all the videos posting. This is the second comment from you saying almost exactly the same thing. Is there something your trying to tell us ?
Still cracking packs to play and the track printing is messed. I have 6 valley rotcallers, 4 hired claws and 5 kastrals and yet to see vinelash, swan etc etc. Ive opened 4 prerelease kits a bundle and half a box so far. I get distribution is poor with prerelease kits but 2 hired claws in the same bundle.... holy sh.... luckily most of this is off credit. I did not know they changed distribution of pull rates either till recent. Cheers Moxman!
are tying to play sealed or constructed? if your playing sealed whats the problem? redundant rares in a sealed pod can be good if the card is good. If you trying to play constructed just buy singles.
@dericplummer9272 Sealed. I like variance and it's a way to justify myself grabbing packs. My one deck had two of the Valley Rotcallers and next deck had 1 so felt iffy. Plus trying to collect this set and a abundance of specific rares defeating that purpose. Going singles route after I chew up the products. Just telling my weird findings and up to others if they believe me :)
@@TeeJayDubyiu Yea I get that. It's hard to make conclusions on because sample size is so small. But prerelease always seems weird. I either get nothing or pull gas in back to back packs lol
Not sure if most LGS’s are like those in central Minnesota, but stores won’t even buy singles from new sets from players for a few weeks because the majority go down down down.
A new streamer on WN threw in a flubs with one of my packs. It was 5 dollars then, when I got it today its up to 20 lol Then yesterday I sold a raised foil Zinnia for 110 (would have held out for more but I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow and wanted the extra cash)
I am watching alot of the singles and I will grab a few in the next week or so, great cards just feels like the power is not enough so price seems right
Bloomburrow is better than I expected but I feel like I was right on it not being as good as everyone thought. This was only the 2nd set I didn't pre-order in the past 2 years.
I cracked open a Collector Boosters box yesterday and I have to say I was very disappointed with the value therein. With 1 or 2 variant exceptions, I pulled almost nothing you might consider "top 10". If I could return the box for a refund, I would. Stick to Play Boosters: value will probably be similar and you'll save a significant amount of money.
I have lots of other expenses this month so I'm sitting out on Bloomburrow, but if I had the money I would buy a playset of the strong mythics in case I want to play with them in the future.
I was disappointed with opening my Play Booster Box of Bloomburrow. They're supposed to be fun to open, but the repetition is insane! You basically pay more to get 6+ of the same common. Sure the art and theme is cool, but like the professor has been saying: Buy Singles! Good change I end up doing that for Duskmorn.
My singles 3 of each: Three cities at 18 euros Red lynx at 2 euros Mabel at 80 cents for my daughter. The seasons cards will be good in commander but i really dont care for that format 😅
Cards are far too cheap, which means boxes won't be opened. There, for when the set gets older, cards will rise in price because there won't be many singles to find
looked at the singles, so far I bought $0 of singles. I play modern and legacy, nothing a hit yet. even the expensive land is dumb, won't even fit in merfolk id rather have nythkos
This set isn’t going up. It hasn’t even crashed yet; and it will. This is the same old story from standard. Wait 6 months, buy your singles. Rinse, repeat.

I ripped a play booster box the other day, and boy were the pulls disappointing...
It's basically now a draft booster box at a higher price than what a set box was. The greed of this company is getting beyond the pal.
My son and I attended a prerelease, and pulled 12 rares and a special guest out of 12 packs. Disappointing.

I opened one of the commander decks, and got a contact high from the smell of the cards. It was quite strong.
Yessssssssss. Wait... Is that good or bad? Lol
@@StrykerLee It wasn't a good high. I felt smelling it probably took 2-3 years off my life.

Yep I picked up a few already great for my standard decks and who knows where the prices will go later but the deal looks pretty good right now

I like the new stickers! Much better than WotC's boxes of dinged up cards at ridiculous prices.
I wasn't intending on buying more than like three or four singles. But seeing how undervalued many cards seemed, I extended my orders.

Good set and mechanics but no value :(
Would be a great set if boxes cost the same as old draft boxes
I ordered my scrapshooters, that card is a banger
I bought a few cards the prices are too low to pass up in y mind so I grabbed about 50 bucks worth, cheaper than buying a box
My singles 3 of each:
Three cities at 18 euros
Red lynx at 2 euros
Mabel at 80 cents for my daughter.
The seasons cards will be good in commander but i really dont care for that format 😅
But you said it yourself if you wouldn't buy it at $20 then it won't stay at 20
Well that just means singles might be good to buy soon and formats might change so it’s good to be aware
vinelasher not bad, Kitsa probably won't make izzet modern or legacy but pioneer and standard definitely a chance
Cards are far too cheap, which means boxes won't be opened. There, for when the set gets older, cards will rise in price because there won't be many singles to find
ral, lumra and the viper are both almost playable, if they hit $5 maybe i buy 4x.
The Ramble and the Jamble!
Wonder if rudy threw a curio
boomstick. I have not touch the set yet. it not officially release yet
So buy singles again?
I bought some only if they seems to good to pass up, I figure it was cheaper than a box or bundle and I got cards I wanted.

EV is terrible. i pulled 1 card over $1 in my entire bundle.. womp womp
The set was overhyped, draft experience is entertaining. Over all the set is not for me. Like the owl art work tho
Im so tired of sets that seem like they should be silver border. This is pretty much 'Universes Beyond: Aesop's Fables'
I completely disagree. This set feels the closest to real Magic since Wilds of Eldraine ❤
