@@InsanoRider777 it's true. this set seems the most like Magic The Gathering of many recent and the stupid car racing set we're getting after Duskmourne, and the people in charge seem intent on killing this one with numbers. Some of the cards in the set seem abnormally not pushed like many cards have been recently, and they put this trailer in a discussion video about the set which will probably enable some corporate paper pusher to point at the views on this video and go "the animation budget wasn't worth it" or people want modern real world like doctor who, not high fantasy animated stuff, meanwhile Doctor Who gets super pushed cards i reluctantly add to decks while begrudgingly lamenting the flavor incompatibility.
This kind of BS happens in Capitalism all the time. Just look at Final Fantasy VIII vs FFIX. 8 made more money in sales so they started going that way, but IX is way more beloved. See VIII made sales because VII was great, then nobody came back for IX because VIII was trash(by comparison, still has some really great stuff in it to be sure). Disney also killed Treasure planet in it's crib with lackluster promotion, and I can't think of any other reason for them to debut duskmourne BEFORE Bloomburrow unless somebody with power at WOTC is INTENTIONALLY trying to skew the numbers to put it down. They sent the pinkertons after somebody for hurting their promotional hype schedule in the past, and now suddenly they intentionally do it themselves? I smell BS.

You should check out Wildlands by Stephen Wood! I’ve been on the hunt for games that embody Redwall and medieval fantasy with little critters like this, and Wildlands is a pay-what-you-want rpg system that’s EXACTLY like this, i love it

Me and my coworker have been talking about just a show in general for magic. Idk much about the mtg lore as of now but if they did an animated show it would be awesome. (Not anime). I just got back into magic and my favorite recent set is otj just cause I like the western theme

I swear the biggest mistake Wizards ever made was abandoning the Block-system. A 2-3 set Redwall-based Block would have been AMAZING.

Okay, Bloomburrow is my new favorite Magic The Gathering set now because of this trailer. Absolutely.
For me it is also my new favourite (aesthetic wise) as it finally replaced Lorwyn/Shadowmoor!
If you'd make a 20 min "pilot" with the same kind of feel to it without spoken words and only amazing background music, this would go so viral, probably. This scratches an itch only disney movies from the 80s or 90s brought.
Or a Don Bluth animated film from the same decades.

It reminds me so much of the many animated movies about animals fighting for their homes or moving to new homes, IT EVEN MADE ME CRY. That's so very unfair, Wizards. You did what? Brought Don Bluth to the table like: remember when you made an entire generation traumatized? Do it again lol. I love it to bits

I just...I love this so much! There are many layers to why I do, but I think I can sum it up...more or less like this...
This set is adorable. It is cute. It evokes that cozy feeling you get when watching your favorite childhood cartoon. That's the surface of it all. But when you start digging and you see the world for what it really is, you see that even here in this idyllic looking place, there is conflict. There are dangers and there are monsters that threaten the lives of those who reside here. Some are malicious and evil while others are just primal forces of destruction. That doesn't undercut the charm, but rather it is amplified. Through acts of courage, kindness, and solidarity, these denizens of Bloomburrow can stand together against these monsters that would destroy their perfect little world. They have to fight to keep it as it is. And that struggle makes it all the more compelling. It makes me want to see them, such as this brave little mouse, succeed. Sometimes you have to fight to protect what you love and you have to defend your hearth and home from monsters who would knowingly or unknowingly destroy it. THAT is what I find draws me to Bloomburrow; the charm and coziness of the setting, amplified by the struggles that these creatures face in order to keep it that way!

I haven't played magic for 26 years and bought the set. The trailer is so beautiful and I love little animals running around in the forest. Mice, frogs and weasels are just beautiful.

I get so many different vibes from this trailer. Redwood, Secret of Nimh, a bit of Fern Gulley, and some other various early to mid 90s media, but with just enough of a touch to make it MTG. Such a nostalgia trip, and it looks awesome. Neat trailer 👌

This is the most wholesome, and sweetest MTG trailer I've ever seen. I'm not a huge fan of this set for several reasons... but I absolutely love the theme and the trailer. This seems like a good one for playing with my daughter, despite the somewhat lame mechanics 😅
You don't need to make good cards if you got cute animals. It's perfect for young children though, no gore at all your kid will love it.
