Ultimately, from a gameplay standpoint I prefer pass 2 but character wise I prefer 1. Joker, Hero, and Terry compared to pass 2's sephiroth and sora. But for pass 1 the only fighter I play is Terry while pass 2 I enjoy sephiroth, the aegis, Kazuya, and sora. Minmin I greatly dislike both in playstyle and as a character. Any other arms character I'd enjoy more. Steve I'm not a huge fan of but it's cool he's in there. Sephiroth was by far the best reveal. Best trailer and he proved me correct on basically everything I was saying in speculation. Sephiroth is also probably my third most played character. The aegis is pretty fun but I'm not gonna lie as a character I'm not a fan of their addition. I'm not upset they're in like minmin but I'm also not thrilled. Kazuya is interesting because tekken is the one fighting game I don't like playing but he's probably my favorite fighting game character in smash to play as besides Terry. Sora is an awesome addition. It makes so much sense he was included and that he was the number 1 request. Huge fan of the series and gameplay wise I'm starting to enjoy it 1 year after he was added. Overall pass 2 was pretty good. Not my favorite line up but really quality as expected from Sakurai.
