That looks like such a fun race! 37:20 is super time, I'm sure you'll be pretty close to that on a proper course in 2025 as you are on fire at the moment! Allez :)
Faster than 6 minutes per mile! That was always the dividing line for the really fast runners for me, sub-6 pace. You had a little boost but you still had to pick them up and put them down and maybe your legs will remember how they did that in your next 10k. Great race, Chloe! That looked like a fun visit to Madrid.
It's funny, someone else noted the sub 6min/mile when commenting on my Strava, I guess it's one of those benchmarks for those who run in miles, it doesn't quite register with me 😅 I guess the goal now will be to match this finish time but on flat course! Thank you for watching :)
@@ChloeHamard Yes, I mentioned it because I thought it might not be something that you'd pay attention to. 4:00/km was a goal for me of course for 5k and 10k races, but 5, 6, and 7 minutes per mile are small whole numbers that matched paces I could run or I aspired to. Paces like 3:45/km and 4:20/km didn't sarve as well for... um, milestones, or whatever the metric equivalent would be. But then, 5, 6, and 7 minutes per km are a lot like that for me now, sad to say.😆I'm betting that you'll beat that time on a flat course very soon!
Congratulación!!! …good job!!👏👏👏🙌🙌
Gracias!

It was really fun indeed, a great event to use as an excuse for a Madrid city break! I can't wait to tackle more 10ks next year!

I was there as well and I think I saw you. Actually we had to run together at some point because I ended at 37:13!
Ah yes we must have been close in the race! Congrats to you 👏🏻 and thank you for watching
No races until January 🤔 Sounds very unlikely 😂 Congrats on the downhill PB 👍
I’ve got to do some training now instead of tapering every 2 weeks 🤣 Hopefully one day I’ll get the same finish time on a legit course 🙏🏻
Will you race anything shorter then a 5K next year. Are you gone try out 3000m on the track.
I don't think so, it doesn't appeal to me now
