My husband Trevor, now 83, wants me, his wife, to post this msg on behalf of late great Shane Warne. He says that although he has been an England cricket fan and supporter since 1946 his love and admiration for Shane as a cricketer, commentator and a wonderful Aussie ranks greatest amongst all.He us simply devastated and saddened that Shane had to leave this world so suddenly. A terrible shock to all! He had so much more to give not only as a commentator, but as the person he was in real life. May his lovely soul Rest in Eternal Peace . s sad that Shane had to leave this world do suddenly, shocking all who loved him
This really drives home. To me he’s Warnie, the legend. The guy I tried to be in my back yard as a kid. And I feel so gutted and actually lost like at 35 my child hood was stolen from me. But to those kids he’s their dad. He’s their mate, he’s the one that teaches them how to succeed and how to handle situations. Once a week at least I’ll have a conversation with my parents about something that’s cropped up. So I couldn’t imagine losing that.
I watched the tribute last night and what amazing kids they are. Well raised. They have the tools to carry on despite missing him badly. What a tear jerker.
They are fortunate in the sense that they will have World Wide Support as well as...of course Simone's!! She's been a wonderful Ma 💟💓💕. Now she's got to be strong for her 3 Bubba's and help them get thru this. Summer, Jackson & Brook speeches at the Memorial Service were amazing. They were incredibly strong, to stand and deliver Infront of the World, with Shane's passing still so fresh and their little hearts that are now broken 💔🩹💔🩹💔. I couldn't stop crying. I'm sure he would have been proud of them, looking down over them 🏏🇦🇺💐
