Thank god we have videos of Shane Warne playing and explaining the intricacies of leg spin bowling. Shane was a cricket genius, I will miss him and I never met him.
Miss you Warnie. Such a great cricketing mind and entertainer. Still can’t believe he’s gone. Glad Mark Taylor is still with us. He’s probably my fav captain of all time. Wish him good health and a long life. 🙏
Will miss you forever for the rest of my life. Can't beleive you are gone forever. I still expect you to give your views on a hard fought game even though you are gone. Rest easy King.
This is not how warne bowled his slider. In this video he is just telling how Shah bowls it. He used to put underspin in the slider but it wasn't as much as he did with flipper. Flipper had lot of underspin. Ps. There are different ways to bowl slider. But most useful is the one which stays low and hurry onto the batsman.
@@nitishsihag5199 flipper and slider both have underspin ; due to which they hurry on and stay low. But the former has more underspin than the latter. Both are same , but the difference is just the spin which is being imparted.
Same here bud. I bowled off spin and found it easier to grip the ball like a fast bowler. My coach didn't like it. Did not want me to bowl like that. So I had to cut my career short without ever realizing my full potential.
How about the top spinner, it also goes straight on but has more bounce as compared to the slider. What's the grip and how is extra bounce achieved with a top spinner?
If you're looking to bowl a top spinner you want to bowl it with the seam up if you're looking for extra bounce or scrambled if you want it to skid through slightly and then bowl it from as the name suggests the top of the hand to try and generate overspin a bit like Nathan Lyon but with the wrist and not the fingers. It shouldn't spin very much in comparison to your regular leg break but you're looking more for variable bounce as a variation delivery to create doubt in the batsman's mind. I'd focus more on an accurate leg spinner and googly before you work on a good top spinner though.
Mate it was impossible to pick shane warne in his day I would like to see modern day batsman face and then we will see if you still say they are noobs dumbass
When I see these two together, I think about the 1996 World Cup semi final Australia vs. West Indies, where Warne clutched victory for Australia. I watched it as a 12-year old and it is one my first favorite memories of cricket.
Strategy wise, Yasir Shah is probably better, Stuart MacGill was really just a sledgehammer, turned the ball a lot, not too much strategy involved.....But Shah is like Warne, uses mind games and strategy.

Warne: this is how I bowl a slider, here's an example from the past
You: That's not his slider
lol
Such a great tutorial, why is it over
I have midget hands, I learned to bowl legspin with a seam grip and rip across the grip with my seaming fingers
Same here bud. I bowled off spin and found it easier to grip the ball like a fast bowler. My coach didn't like it. Did not want me to bowl like that.
So I had to cut my career short without ever realizing my full potential.
so gonna try this
Legends always have their secrets 😉

Bowled like a flipper

TheMaverickanupam bowl the top spinner with your hand facing the batsmen
TheMaverickanupam I grip it like a regular leg break but then face my hand towards the batsmen allowing for the extra bounce and no turn
Extra bounce is due to the top spin causing a sharper and faster dip as the ball comes down, making it hit the ground harder and bounce up more.
He was brilliant wasn’t he!
Miss u warne
Wow yasir shah is a genius.
That tip could be the different between out or not out. Nipping the bails or not.
RIP Spin King
Today i learnt that i cant be a fast bowler and i am
A spinner
Legend!!
Legend gone
Why do 2 stumps have a white tip but Maddinson's off stump doesn't?
To show the bowlers what to hit🤣
Rip warne
Maaaan I learnt something today (I'm a fast bowler LOL)
Sadly this doesn't work with a gray Nic ball
He vll xplain legspin with same enthusiasm , wake him in middle of night.
3:28 the batsman was noobs those day while playing spin..
Mate it was impossible to pick shane warne in his day I would like to see modern day batsman face and then we will see if you still say they are noobs dumbass

Yasir shah is a legend spinner of the world after Abdul qadir and Shaun warn
Muralitharan is the picasso of the spinning
Why did he die man literally it's absolutely a sword in the chest of cricket that he died so early..
Good
I know how to do the slider already lol
Aaah. Warneee... U r missed.
nice
Ricky Ponting
shah is surely the best leg spinner after warne😎
Strategy wise, Yasir Shah is probably better, Stuart MacGill was really just a sledgehammer, turned the ball a lot, not too much strategy involved.....But Shah is like Warne, uses mind games and strategy.
If you look at stats it’s kumble but shah is up there
