Thank you so much for this excellent Peloton Row review. This is probably one of the most informative reviews I’ve seen.

My story is similar and I am extremely happy with my Row. As to content, the selection is obviously not vast, but it is growing daily. I completed the first program and have started the second. I got the Perfect Form badge and my pace is getting faster. Hope to get a 2:30 pace soon, not bad for 64 years old.

I had the Tread+, when the recall happened I sent it back for the Bike+ and couldn't be happier. I haven't got tired of the Bike+ at all given that I absolutely have my favorite instructors (shout out to Ben Alldis EDM Rides & HIIT & Hills classes) but also the fact that I switch it up with Strength, Yoga, etc. on the mat.

I'm jealous of your Bike+. It's great that Peloton now has a variety of machines to choose from for cardio, and even strength if you include Guide. Thanks for watching.

I feel the same way. I tried both the Tread and the Bike in the store and went with the Bike+. I go to the gym regularly, so I have access to their rowers and treadmills anyways. I just bring an iPad along if I want to do a Peloton class. I prefer running outside in summer anyways. So I am happy they have the audio-only outdoor runs/walks. The Bike just made the most sense for me at home. Very quiet, requires fairly little space, rotating screen for bootcamp workouts (though I prefer the Apple TV App on the big screen for non-bootcamp stuff) and lot of fun.

10k a day for 6 days on a rower is brutal man to get a gold badge, especially if you mix it with other workouts.

I am a peloton bike (original) owner. Researched rowers for a couple weeks now, and I couldn't get past the Peloton Rower price tag, even considering my existing subscription. I went with the Concept2, no subscription, has a large ecosystem of 3rd party apps and interoperability, and its bare bones. Certainly not a living room piece but i prefer function over form. Like you said, it's the Gold Standard. Who knows I may regret it and buy the Peloton Rower after all, but hopefully they will slash the price at that point. Even better -- lets hope Peloton manages to stay in business 😶. Nice video, thank you.

You won't regret it. I have a C2. If anything my biggest complaint is I don't use it enough. Best rower on the market outside of the dynamic rowers.

I"m torn between the Hydrow and peleton. I like the outside videos from Hydrow. There's no place for me to try one out first. I'm not sure I love the studio classes from Peleton . I was able to try one, the best thing the Peleton has is the row assist. I'm not sure Peleton is worth the money, however we do have the bike. If you could pick again, would you choose the hydrow next time?

I’d pick Peloton every day and twice on Sundays. But that depends on what you think of their content. Do you love it? If not, try the Hydrow.

If you already have the bike I would go with the Peloton. Hydrow would have the added subscription cost per month. Ordered my Peloton row and it will be here in a week. Can’t wait!

Great content. I find on my rower (NordicTrack) that the arms are not a factor. You feel it in the back and shoulders.

Content on Hydrow is the best there is. Watching the athletes rowing on the water is awesome! Quite boring to watch somebody rowing in the studio.
I’ve been rowing for 2 years. I average about an hour a day. If you can only have one machine, definitely get a rower. Second , I would say an air bike, especially if you don’t have a rower.

Why Peloton has an overweight instructor for the row is confusing to me.

My Row broke during installation. The front stabilizer bar cracked in two places. It looked like they used tin foil for the metal in there along with plastic. Be careful moving it around your house if you have to move it. I ended up refusing delivery and later cancelling the order because XPO Logistics kept rescheduling the replacement delivery. Peloton hem-haw’d giving my money back. After a month of waiting I had to get file a dispute with my credit card company. Very poor customer service!

I’m sorry to hear about your poor experience with the Row. Hopefully, that’s not typical but I appreciate you sharing.
