It's a shame these first seasons only had 5 to 6 episodes. I'd love for them to bring back favourites like Romesh and Joe Wilkinson for a full 10 episode series for maximum chaos.

It's amazing how far Taskmaster has come since its debut episode. What I also find interesting is that both Greg and Alex weren't sure if the show would take off, so they were technically only planning one season of it, but then it got popular and they had the backing to do another season. The rest is history.
@@Klaproossje it is an incredible show, but that’s why I think they should end it after 25 seasons. It must be very difficult to keep coming up with tasks and finding new comedians to do it. End when it’s still good and everyone raves about it rather than when it inevitably tails off and peoples last memory is that it isn’t as good as it used to be. Plus stopping at 25 series they can end on a “champion of champions of champions” and it would be nicely rounded off.

Series 15 starts on March 30th! Also, Channel 4 have agreed to do six more series of Taskmaster (up to Series 21), and there's also Junior Taskmaster on the way! Exciting!
The watermelon task really sets the tone for the show. Hell, it really encapsulates it perfectly: silly task, many ways of approaching it. At least one will be utter lunacy.
I miss the simplicity of some of the earlier tasks. I still love the show I just feel some of the tasks have too many rules. This kind of task was my favourite, it gave the comedians so much freedom to do smt we could all do at home
You are correct. This clip is also not the first full episode or the first full tasks. It's chopped up so much, I don't understand why they bothered to post it, much less name it like they did. Channel 4 kinda sucks.
I live in America, I just realized how long it has been since I have seen a watermelon with seeds in it... Seedless watermelons are weird and not seedless.
It's exciting to see Greg Davies and Alex Horne competing in the show's first-ever episode. Both of them have been involved in the show since its inception, with Greg as the Taskmaster and Alex as his loyal assistant. It's interesting to see them switch roles and compete against each other, bringing a new dynamic to the show. Their comedic chemistry is always a highlight of the show, and it's great to see them showcase their skills as contestants. Unfortunately, for some of us internationals the early seasons have been hard to come by. Frankly I'm glad to finally have witnessed this scene, oft-referenced in the comments, but until this very day out of my reach!

Ramesh? Idk I didn't like Ramesh that much Tim Key was my favorite that season.
They need a rubbish of rubbish series, like theyre champion of champion series. The 5 lowest scoring players.

I disagree! Best episodes are when they argue and fight with the taskmaster. (Hence why I loved season 7 the most! So much drama XD)
