watched many kinds of ways to serve nagashi somen at a restaurant, this one is my favorite soo far... a personal table with your own bamboo and bowl without worrying much about the missed noodles flowing down...
More hygienic with private bamboo slide. if it's using a common bamboo slide, I want to sit the closest and be the first to grab the noodles. Everyone else down the slide can taste the saliva from my chopsticks 😂😂😂
@@ylein6508It's definitely the traditional method, but here they completely understand what modern customers think. Changing and adapting is why these places survive.
Looks like not only you but the people at the other tables were also happily eating and laughing. It made me happy that someone else is happy through good food and enjoying themselves. Ramune is available in India too but it goes by the name Goli Soda, Goli meaning "round" and its often a marbles-kind ball.
I don't think I've ever been so happy for two people going after their happy. Especially not while eating noodles off a waterslide in the middle of nowhere Japan. *blinking back tears over here*
I like this setup better than the other one you went to. I like that if you miss catching the noodles, they sit in the bowl till you're ready. Unlike the other place where they went by you really fast and was gone. More bang for your buck here.😊
Thank you for the video. Your videos have kept my motivation going for my dream to visit Japan. It always seems like just that because of many obstacles & lack of discipline. The food & culture are the main reasons I want to go. I love your consistency of top quality, informative videos. ❤
I'd love that so much! Your putting the tempura bits on your noodles reminded me of my favorite udon, tanuki udon -- which is exactly that. Udon with tempura crumbles on top! It's so good!
A much easier way of eating "Flowing Noodles" and it looked like you were tapped out very quickly with the somen noodles. It would be fun to experience this idea with other foods.
I have always wanted to try the flowing noodles but I have never gotten the chance to go to Japan. Thank you dancingbacons for allowing me to live vicariously through you!
I love ramune and all of this looks so good to a girl who has been stuck at home with\getting over Covid all week. Soup, leftovers and sandwiches are all I have eaten this week. Man I could really go for anything other then said foods about now.
It's a strange feeling to see a TH-camr I always watch from overseas come to my hometown. Your Japanese is excellent. Did you enjoy the miso potato and nagashi somen? Thank you (^^)
You need a small strainer for catching up the noddles and I would love to try this one time...l am a noddle lover and the wooden noddle catch bowel - l could pretty much eat a full one at one sitting... great stuff..
I love your content. I’m a longtime viewer from Canada and you have inspired me to travel more. I love seeing when your lovely girlfriend likes the food she tries!
Ramume bottles are quite annoying. But tasty, so you have to! So cute how Ms. Bacon laughs at the failed attempts of other Ms. Bacons noodle catching. As a western lady, i wouldnt even succeeded at getting one noodle out with chopsticks😂
What a beautiful place! With boats and rapids to entertain. And the contraption for delivering the noodles to each table, is effective and amazing. All the dishes looked good. I personally love pasta, so having those noodles was right up my alley. 😋 Thank you for sharing your fun times and making this trip from Tokyo. Until our next video 🍀🍀🍀
Mrs. Bacons speaks Japanese? How very cool! Her customary big smile was conspicuously absent, she mist have been really into the food this time around. Next time I go to Japan, I will have to look into this place for the experience!
That is hand-down one of the most refreshing, summer dining experience I've seen. Extremely regretful that I didn't know about this place while I was in Japan last June.
I always put the ramune bottle on my knee and push the plastic popper down with the base of my palm. There’s better leverage pushing straight down than trying to push out front of you on the table.
These two always know how to have fun and they take us along for the ride.
No replies! Lemme fix that

I was so grossed out by the common one where everyone just grabs some from the same bamboo slide. This one is better
@@ylein6508 also privacy and personal space too
More hygienic with private bamboo slide. if it's using a common bamboo slide, I want to sit the closest and be the first to grab the noodles. Everyone else down the slide can taste the saliva from my chopsticks 😂😂😂
@@ylein6508It's definitely the traditional method, but here they completely understand what modern customers think. Changing and adapting is why these places survive.
Which is good, because Bacons is terrible at catching them
It was fascinating to watch, but chaotic when the noodle just kept on coming lol. Interesting concept with lots of laughs.
Looks like not only you but the people at the other tables were also happily eating and laughing. It made me happy that someone else is happy through good food and enjoying themselves.

I love your videos that are just so real. No weird music or over edits
I soooo LOVE LOVE LOVE the creativity of restaurants in Japan!
I would be way to stressed to ask them to pause so I’d have an overflowing basin of noodles at the bottom 😂
I don't think I've ever been so happy for two people going after their happy. Especially not while eating noodles off a waterslide in the middle of nowhere Japan. *blinking back tears over here*
These look so cool. Such a neat way to have a refreshing treat.
How many languages does she speak?! That’s so impressive!
I like this setup better than the other one you went to. I like that if you miss catching the noodles, they sit in the bowl till you're ready. Unlike the other place where they went by you really fast and was gone. More bang for your buck here.😊
Aaaww her laughter is so sweet. But Bacons struggling with the top 😂😂😂. Thank you for sharing.
This so unique! And the surrounding is amazing

That looked amazing. I liked that each table had its own chute so no chance of sharing germs. Perhaps we will try this on our next trip to Japan 🥰
This setup is better than the usual Nagashi somen setup.
Charming. That looks like a lot of fun.
I'd love that so much! Your putting the tempura bits on your noodles reminded me of my favorite udon, tanuki udon -- which is exactly that. Udon with tempura crumbles on top! It's so good!
Like the other times they had to fish noodles out of a stream, Mrs. Bacon is a PRO at catching them!! 😂😂😂
You truly get to visit some of the most interesting places! Thanks for bringing us along!
Ty for sharing your experience again 😊
Looks so fun and yummy! Ty for sharing! ❤
Qué refrescante! ❤ un lugar muy natural, y como siempre con la gran sonrisa de ella, gracias ☺️
I would miss so many noodles but I would still have fun trying to catch them
A much easier way of eating "Flowing Noodles" and it looked like you were tapped out very quickly with the somen noodles. It would be fun to experience this idea with other foods.
I have always wanted to try the flowing noodles but I have never gotten the chance to go to Japan. Thank you dancingbacons for allowing me to live vicariously through you!
I love Japan ❤ and Hello from Argentina 🇦🇷
I love seeing new things! I've never seen anything like this before! Thank you!
Very interesting place. That's a lot of food for the price 👍
I love ramune and all of this looks so good to a girl who has been stuck at home with\getting over Covid all week. Soup, leftovers and sandwiches are all I have eaten this week. Man I could really go for anything other then said foods about now.
Hope you feel better soon. That's no fun.💐

The most recognizable set on earth
Noodles delivered by flowing water……..that is so ….so…….different…….and really cool……thanks for showing me this…..Stephen retired to Saigon
You can tell he really had fun on this video just by the laugh and showing the hand circles at the end, so fun to watch
It's a she... Both of them

This looks so cool.

It looks like heaps of fun, even though a little bit stressful. But also looks tasty! 😋
Looked like loads of fun and lots to eat.

I love your videos. Congrats from Brazil.
Lady Bacon is always happy 😂
I learned about hot pot from this channel and we found a few in town so it's on our list. Now I need to find one of these in the Western US.
I like this one better than the last flowing noodle place, cause you can't miss your noodles.
This looked really fun & thanks for sharing DancingBacons 💃🏼🕺🥓
This video was so fun to watch😂😂
Lugares lindos e refeiçoes muito apetitosas❤❤❤

More on the cool/cold side!

great video
I wish the uk had experiences like this what a beautiful setting
This looks so fun and cool, but I would be too afraid my chopstick skills wouldn't be good enough to go.
Wow! They really fill you up with food. I would burst if i went here 🥰
Yeah, that's what I was thinking myself..just the noodles they had in the bowl from *missing* portions would have been a full meal+ for me.
The voice Mr. Bacons is reaaalll
I always put the ramune bottle on my knee and push the plastic popper down with the base of my palm. There’s better leverage pushing straight down than trying to push out front of you on the table.
So interesting
I must know how do your bacons be so dancing?! It is these dancing bacons that make me smile 😀😁.
Lady bacon I miss your smile 🥰
I didn’t know you loved tempuras.
