If those Maxxis tyres are the same as on mine, swap them for a pair of better ones. They are fine on warm roads on a hot summersday. But they are not good enough.

The 2024 Duke has 95 hp , the old Version had 105 hp. and it's more expensive than the cf Moto 800nk . Do you really need all the technical stuff and pay much more money ......i bought the 800 NK.
In the official KTM site it says 77kw with the conversion to hp is 103,26 and to PS is 104,69. The 2024 cf Moto nk800 is also 100hp from the official site of cfmoto. Also the kg are KTM 174 dry and cf Moto 185,98 dry.
Is this happening on the 2024 Duke 790s? Aww man, they are going for $8,199 brand new near me in America and that is unheard of for a bike of this class. I literally am going to dealer tmrw to look at it. I just started hearing about this camshaft issues but thought it was for older models.
@@Nucklehead-mm9gf You are correct. I recently spoke to a KTM rep at my local dealer. He told me in his 4 years of selling these models he’s only seen about 3 come in for cam issues. All three were pre 22’ models. If you ask me I’ll say KTM has addressed this issue with the new models. I’m on the east coast BTW.
Well the 2024 Duke 790 is going for $8,199 right now in America and honestly is sweet spot for power at 103 hp and 65 ft lbs torque especially on a less than 400 lbs bike! It's cheaper than every 650cc naked on the market and offers significantly more power but not too much power either. It's kind of just right and that pricepoint is very appealing.
@orionzor it is totally A2 compliant, read the rules for A2 compliant bikes, they have a weight limit, and you cannot reduce more than 50% of the power, I have a KTM duke 790 and I have it on an A2 license, so it makes only 49 HP. Of course, you need to reduce the power, but a 95 hp bike is totally eligible for an A2 license, which means you have to reduce the power to 35kw
Its cheaper when its made in china. So for asia market the price is quite competitive. In my country it's price tag is 9k usd-+ with 4 years unlimited mileage.! Can whack the bike for 4 years man

This bike is built by CF Moto and they will be marketing their own version in 2024. The NK800, so before you buy this bike compare the 2.
😢
790 nice, 990 nicer, 890 perfect balance!
990 similar power to 890 and a bit heavier, not a compelling upgrade would definitely go 890😊
@@johnnyboy1586 Agreed, I don't want a 990, 790 sounds good, 890 sounds perfect, especially 890 R.

Flawed camshafts? Forgot to mention that. 😂
How are the camshafts flawed?

I don't get it , why a new 790 2024 ? The 890 R 2023 is better and there is a new 990 2024 .
Cheaper?
It's only the R model that is "better". But I guess new Euro5+ has something to do with it?
"cheaper" option for others.. the 890r price would shock you in some places.

Why buy a a 790 with 95 hp when they first made a 105 hp version ??
Because in America 🇺🇸 it’s still 105 hp and a riot!!
It is only 95 hp in Europe to make it A2 compliant
