      Yeah I don't know how these services make money. Hardly anyone uses them but that's Japan for you.Not everything needs to make money as long as it serves a purpose for some.

    I haven’t been to Japan since 1977. I can still picture it in my mind! Those places probably don’t even exist any longer.

    As I can see you pulled the trigger on the ZV-E1. Any lenses upgrade also for FF?
    And now… FX30 and a new baby the ZV-E1?

      Thank you :) Very kind of you.
      Yes, I bought the ZV-E1 for this trip. I wanted something very compact and could do it all. I have two FF lenses. I bought the Viltrox 16mm f1.8 and love it but noticed that it was a little too heavy and the one focal range was very limiting so I bought the Sony 20-70 F4 lens. This was the only lens I brought with my for the whole trip and this is the lens you see me using for these Japan vlogs.

    The ninja museum looked so fun! Were you shooting this all with dynamic active?

      It was really awesome! They were so nice. I love Japanese people.
      Yeah all of this is shot with active stabe. It's fine if you're moving forward but as soon as you turn or pivot it jerks around pretty hard. It's that contrast between super smooth and abruptness that might be for everyone. I want to make a longer video talking about it because I think a lot of people still want to know about how good it is.

    Another very enjoyable piece of japan vlog from you - thanks man! :)
    In the ninja town I somehow added Naruto music mentally xD
    Since you used the ZV E1 + 20-70 F4 combo on this trip - did you ever wished for a F2.8? I will probably keep the ZV E1, since it's an amazing video camera with low light performance I never had before. And now I'm looking for a lens and right now I'm rocking back and forth between Sony 20-70 F4 and Tamron 20-40 F2.8. I know I will film a lot inside for family stuff, but that extra reach watching your vlogs shows, it IS very useful - can't decide ^^''

    • @noisackda2564
      @noisackda2564  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Haha! I do the same when I'm editing. Anime soundtracks are always playing in my head. Thanks for the continued support :)
      You know what? An F4 lens wouldn't work on 90% of cameras but, because the sensor is so good. I didn't find I was missing out on anything. I haven't edited it yet but I shot at night with zero issues. The base iso of 12,800 isn't mentioned enough. It's really quite mind-boggling. The only thing I wished for in this lens was if it could be a tad bit wider. I'm now looking into the 16-35mm lens. I would even be fine with the 16-35 PZ f4 lens but I can sometimes find the 16-35 F2.8 for almost the same price used. That will probably be my next lens if I purchase another one. I would highly recommend the 20-70 though. It's a very good all-around lens that does everything. The 20-40 might not give you much reach. That's essentially two steps forward lol.

      @@noisackda2564 Thx for your reply my friend :)
      I just watched a few videos on comparison and found a knock out point to pick the Sony 20-70. Looks like the third party lenses don't stablelize as smooth in active compared with Sony native glas. Seeing the difference is for me now a clear choice for the Sony and combined with your experience I think this will work for me + in Germany is 200€ cashback on this lens:)
      I was also thinking about the 16-35 2.8, but for me personally v1 is to big and heavy for my use, since I will always carry two bodies with me (photo + video, sometimes 3 when I throw film photography into the mix xD) and v2 is just too expensive ^^''
      In case I keep working on my channel and it grows, I might justify the v2 GM in 1-2 years, let's see :D

    • @IntrovertAmateur
      @IntrovertAmateur 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      one additional question: did you film all these vlogs in Slog3 and color grade afterwards or did you use s cine tone with slight adjustments?

    • @noisackda2564
      @noisackda2564  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@IntrovertAmateur I totally get what you are saying! Agree with you on all points :) Your channel is great! I have no doubt you will grow significantly. Plus you're very likable. I'm rooting for you.
      I had the Tamron 10-20 and the stability was terrible. I heard that a firmware fixed it though. If you are looking for a good fast vlogging lens I would also look at the Viltrox 16mm F1.8. A bit big but excellent value/performance lens.

    Which VND filter would you recommend or use?

    • @noisackda2564
      @noisackda2564  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I use the K&F ones because they are cheap and don't have that annoying X pattern. The colors on them can be a little inconsistent but if you color grade it doesn't really matter.
