Someone may have already mentioned this, but just in case:
Carl Gustav Jung was absolutely not a materialist. He was a HUGE mystic very deeply steeped in the Hermetic Mystical Tradition.
He posed publicly as a “straight-shooting”, materialist scientist, but as the years went by after his death the horrible (and horrifying because of his modern influence over the field of psychology and popular culture) truth of his Hermetic Worldview has become so clear.
I’m anxious for you guys to do an episode on Hermeticism and it’s influence over our fallen world-especially in the past 1,000 years!
Keep up the great work, guys!

As a software engineer, I can tell you that the background of AI systems is really very different from normal code. We can make them do what we intend, and they do it very well. But oddly (and I don't mean this to be mystical, but in reality) we can't really explain how it does what it does. We are generating complex engines that take some input and are able to generate some output. The fact that we can't explain what it does step-by-step I think opens it up to nefarious manipulation by the spiritual realm. I've actually been musing on that for a while.

Ben’s argument about AI is pretty reasonable now that I’ve thought about it. I’m somewhat familiar with a lot of AI techniques from my master’s degree and some of them are notorious black boxes. Not only do they involve thousands or millions of calculations when used but usually those calculations look nonsensical to a human trying to examine a working AI model manually. It seems possible that a demonic power familiar with the process could adjust them behind the scenes to both work the way the human wants them to and do stuff like make Loeb. There would be no good way to know when looking at the model even if a human being could hold the whole thing in their mind at one time.

"People think they are in charge, but the demons are truly the ones doing the leading."
This reminds me of a dream I had recently. I saw a group of elite world leaders at a table in a dimly lit room and they would call upon these spiritual entities from above to give them knowledge and guide them in making decisions over our entire world.
These elite leaders thought that these entities were doing good to them, but the truth was that they hated these elite people and were seeking to destroy them. The entities were using them like puppets, like a pawn in a chess game.

That stuff about John Dee was terrifying. Even if I wasn't a Christian, why would I want to mess around with powers like that? If you do believe such powers exist (again, even as a non-Christian) what makes you think puny little you is able to understand or handle such beings? Why would you assume they'd want to talk to you? They're obviously greater than you are, otherwise you wouldn't be seeking out their knowledge. How do you know they're "good"? How do you know they wouldn't vaporize you out of existence? Or worse, capture you & torture you? You have no idea what these being might be like. So what makes you think you even have the right to approach them? How arrogant can you be? I saw the hatman in my early teens as i started delving hard into occult and sigil/rune magic. I was fully awake, and my friend who was with me saw it as well, though he claimed the glowing eyes were reflectors along the driveway shining through the brush and the outline was just tree limbs and shadows. Coulda been, though I don't think so.
The sleep paralysis episodes started when i started practicing sigil magic rather than just researching it. I saw shadow people frequently at all hours and locations (as well as a shadow deer which creeps me out the most). All of that has been improving since I begged for the Lord's forgiveness and repented of my wickedness.

I had an experience as a 4th grade teacher last year Ive never had before in 10 years of teaching. One of my girls started drawing the same creepy face all over her notebooks and in her journals we use at school across all subject areas. It had a Cheshire like grin. Then she began writing the word suicide on everything. Her mother discovered horrific writings on notecards inside her closet that described in detail murders and cannibalism. We spent months trying to get her to stop. She is bright, functions otherwise normally no signs of medical or mental illness. Has friends (that she started to drag down into this pit with her-had to put what was equivalent to a restraining order on her). She wouldn't stop doing it no matter what we all threatened, mom included. When asked if she was suicidal she'd act like that was ludicrous and that it was innocent shock value kind of fun. No 9 year old female is like this. We called DHS and they didn't do anything. Tried to unearth possible sexual abuse, no other signs of that. It was disturbing and terrifying to have that spirit in my class. Praying for her. She had to have come across something with her free access to the Internet that her mother divulged.

As far as spirals/snake/serpents go, does that have any bearing on Christ’s words to be wise as serpents but innocent as doves? Or the serpent rod that Moses had to lift up to which those poisoned had to look on to be saved? -Serpents are usually thought of as crafty/wise. Spirals remind me of a tornado or water circling a drain.. Almost like a kind of force that one can get caught up in and pulled to/thrown by. Does a spiral necessarily have to be evil in and of itself? What about a snake? Just some random thoughts that came to mind as you talked about it.

Maybe you guys will talk about it more if you really get into giants and Nephilim in a future episode, but there was always something I was confused about. If the whole creation of the Nephilim happened pre-flood as it seems to indicate in Genesis, then how did the sons of Anak exist during the time of Samuel and Kings and such? It seems to me that the only two possible explanations are angels continued to mate with humans after the flood, or one or more of Noah's daughter-in-laws had to be a descendent herself. Either of those cases seems strange to me though because why wipe out humanity if that was part of the reason, but then let descendants slip through the cracks like that? If the whole thing with the sons of God and the daughters of men continued, it seems odd it would be specifically mentioned as a thing that was happening before the flood, but not mentioned afterwards. Just wondering if either of you had any thoughts or theories about that.

The Nephilim were on the earth both in those days AND AFTERWARD, when the sons of God came to the daughters of mankind, who bore children to them. They were the powerful men of old, the famous men.

I find the thought process being influenced by demonic entities very intriguing and more than likely true. Being a person in the AA fellowship who also has become pretty knowledgeable on scripture and the history of both AA and scripture. Then seeing the similarities and connections are crazy. In AA we are blocked from God. We do the 12 steps to become unblocked and more God conscious. Then when you take the fact that one of the watchers taught plants, roots, herbs, sorcery etc. Which was to pretty much open up doors to the spiritual realm. Which is what we do when we drink or drug. It's not called "Wine and Spirits" for nothing. God doesn't state "be of sober mind for fun. Us alcoholics suffer from a spiritual malady that causes us to be self-centered and selfish. We are very egotistical. We have character defects that really are the 7 deadly sins. These vices run us. We do the 12 steps to close them doors. Dont get it confused though. This stuff doesn't just happen to alcoholics and drug addicts. Also take the idea that a alcoholic or drug addict are like dirty, homeless broken ppl. I didnt drink every day nor did i drink a lot. We have a saying in AA " i dont have a drinking problem i have a thinking problem". Now this spiritual malady can affect ppl in many ways. As the video speaks on the demonic entities using our thoughts. Understand a person may open up the doors by drinking or drugging. Thats not the only way these doors can be opened. The world tricks us into doing so in so many different ways. With it being said that they can control our thoughts without us even knowing it is pretty interesting. Since in AA thats what the spiritual malady does. We don't even know it is controlling us. Not until we start to do the steps. This is just one of many things that the Bible and the Big Book of AA have in common. I came into the fellowship only knowing about God. Now i know Him. Before that you wouldn't have been able to tell me that. I swore i knew God. Of course that was pride talking not me.

So the government doesn’t have the bodies of these creatures? What I’ve seen with my own eyes across a country road in a field and what I thought was a old man was a figment of my imagination? My phone was being tricked too? Shining my flashlight on its eyes and watching it’s eyes light up like a gator . Outside of Gainesville, Florida Route 225 . I think they have physical bodies. I also have pictures of a cloud sitting on the ground in the middle of the night and videos.

I have to say, you should do more research into the Book of Enoch since Yeshuah, Jesus Christ, himself quoted from it when he said "you are in error, not knowing the scriptures for in the resurrection you will neither marry nor are given in marriage but will be as the Angels" in response to the Pharisees trying to trip him up on the "wife who married the brother that died, then his brother who then died" and so on. There is no other part in the, as you say, inherent Word of God. that makes such an inference about what happens when we die other than Enoch. Additionally, all of the Apocryphal books were part of EVERY cannon before the council of Nicea and exists as part of the Word in the oldest Bibical cannon, the Ethiopic. To say that First Enoch is not part of the Word is misleading and uninformed. It definitely was and is still.

I was so confused at first, when you guys were calling egregores demon gods. But then you got to Yung and the actual modern understanding of egregores. And I saw what you were getting at.
But, have you heard of servitors? They are a lesser form of egregore. Made only by one person, for a specific purpose. Wether it's to find you a job, or to find your keys, or any number of mundane things.
But they will just die off if you don't feed them with energy or attention.
They don't become egregores until many people put their attention to it. Then they take on a life of thier own, and can exist long after you've finished working with them.
This in my opinion, is the origin of all the gods. A few people believed in god x then the belief spread and that egregore took on a life of it's own. And spread far and wide.
And yes I am an occultist, found your channel because I love scary stories and TH-cam recommended this channel.
I don't agree with your religion or worldview, but it's interesting to see how you guys manage to call everything demons.

This AI thing could just be another creepypasta, similar to Slender Man.
We talk about AI as if it is this incredibly powerful tool, and it is. However, it is even still only ever a more powerful autocorrect (or in this case, predictive text) engine. It uses a weighted algorithm to determine what is the most likely result you are looking for based upon previous input and predicting what you want and filling itcin one word at a time.

Here's the thing, though. Slender Man started out as a creepypasta, but two girls in Wisconsin ended up stabbing their friend 19 times trying to appease him.
The *idea* that there's something going bump in the night can be used just as effectively by Satan as a physical material thing.
