They hired a bunch of new voice actors in this one. The only veteran in this scene is Akane. A lot of dubbed watchers complained about the same VAs so Sentai hired some new ones. The downside with new ones is they don’t have the experience of the veterans
I don't know why you guys are complaining about dub when the title literally says dub. People have their own preferences. No one is forcing you to watch dub in the first place.
It's not that those voice actors aren't good but they picked the wrong voice actors for those characters. The voices don't match the character's behavior or personality etc. Makes it sound like it was fan dubbed.
@MisterAi I wouldn't say it's low quality as a whole. There are some Eng voice actors who take the job seriously, and they put maximum effort to resonate their voice with the personality and behavior of the character they're voicing.
@@eternity4470 for example, in genshin impact eng dub actors voicing multiple characters meanwhile in Korean or Japanese (Chinese is an original) every character has their own actor

The dub sounds like a gasp, as that’s the most she can say due to her being stunned.
The dub sounds more like what I was expecting, which in a way is why the sub hit harder.
I had higher expectations for this dub

Eng dub is super low quality, Americans don't have this culture as many other countries which were translating American movies for years
well, in japan the voice actor job is like their main/prime life. they really take this serious in a different level
