And took Recruit rush by making them like the other Ops, I'm amazed people deterred them from taking away Smonks Immunity to his own gas (There's probably more, but this Is what I remember and really got to me) [Edit] Ragdolls, they took ragdolls, that was a big one, I remember taking down Glaz In Café Dastoyevski, and he ragdolled onto the nearby bench and *sat* on It like he was just taking a breather!
i was planning to go in the videogame making industry, and ubisoft is one of the game companies in my city that i live in at the moment and i always thought "nah, not ubisoft" this just solidifies it
The negligence of this franchise is one of the biggest reason why they are failing soo hard commercially, hopefully the leaks of that new Rayman Remaster becomes real so that they finally rebrand the Rayman Franchise back to It's original roots, and also choose the right time to release them, Origins and Legends sold extremly low at launch because of the fact that other games were being released in the same days and week, they should Remaster Rayman 3 Hoodlums Havoc, Remake Rayman 2 The Great Escape (either the Dreamcast or the PS2 version), then make Rayman 4 with the same engine that they'll use for the remake of 2, and just like that, this franchise could have potential to get back in the spotlight, but that's all up to Ubisoft with their capitalism decisions.

What's made the watchdog situation even worse is that people found textures in the PC version of the game that made it look much more like the e3 showcase. What happened was that Ubisoft wasn't sure about the capabilities of the PS4 and the Xbox one and that they feared losing what was then the last gen consoles, the 360 and the PS3, players if they made the PC and the next gen versions look much better.
As a R6 Siege OG (Been Playing since 2016) Ubisoft has literally massacred the game. Either with brain dead updates that make things worse, like reworking maps and not allowing people to play the originals, over-nerfing or over-buffing operators, graphic/aesthetic changes, changes to the "story"/lore of the game (Like seriously, tf was that olympics season bruh). Introducing new operators with similar abilities leading to stagnation or completely reworking thier abilities so all those years of maining an OP goes down the drain. Unfair matchmaking that made ranked and even casual just absolute sweat lobbies. Adding political/social messaging that nobody asked for, and much much more. The fall off in my opinion began around 2019, after COD 2019 cameout and it's been on tradgic decline ever since. Idk if R6S is saveable at this point, so I think ubisoft would either continue milking seige until it's completely dry. OR pull an overwatch 2, and release a brand new Rainbow Six title, where it's more of an aesthetics improvement rather than anything else. Either way, R6 is cooked. Only way I think this can change is we get a new dev team and a new publisher that isn't ubisoft.
The steam contract you sign when buying a game tell you that if steam in any way avoids you from playing the game you bought you can sue them and they will just accept the blame So for example, only up was available on steam for peopoe who bought it even tho it was taken down by dmca, because steam contract gives you a use license, and best part is, those licenses are taken in consideration when taking a dmca claim and you cannot take down anything on steam without accepting that the people who boug it have permission to install and play the game So Ubisoft, did break the contract with steam after taking games down because you have a license that was given to steam then to you, so if you bought any Ubisoft game that was removed, you can sue Ubisoft because they accepted that contract with you and they broke it
I wouldn't be surprised of Ubisoft tries to make a monthly subscription per game with advertisements and a more expensive monthly subscription without advertisements but 30 times more expensive microtransactions
