    I'm definetly buying this. It's exactly what i've been looking for. I go to most of my gigs on a motorcycle, so a bag with a handle is not an option, so i've been looking for an option that i can carry as a backpack, this way i can either carry the backpack on the front and my guitar on my back or have the backpack on my back and tie up the guitar on one side. Not only that, on this one you had 6 pedals and the power supply, wich are 7 elements in total. Thanks for the review.

      glad I could help Noro! i've used this a couple times on gigs and it's very nice and transportable. i'm curious to know how you handle the motorcycle with the guitar. did you have to work on balance?

      Not at all, generally speaking, a motorcycle is perfectly capable of balancing itself when on the move, the weight of a guitar (5kg at most?) has never been a problem. I only live with fear that i have an accident and destroy both my bike and my guitar, so i'm twice as careful, wich is a good thing I suppose.

    I just came across this on taobao in China. Had no idea it's been around for at least 6 years. I watched your review and decided to order it for my small keyboard set up. 6 years later... How's it hold up?

    Congrats on being the first person to do a review of the PC-B on TH-cam!

    I am sure it will travel just fine. The pedals wren't coming off during the demo. I doubt that they would come off with regular and careful use.

    • @SeanPierceJohnson
      @SeanPierceJohnson  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      truthfully, they've only come off when I've yanked them off so it's very strong

    So where do the power plugs come through ? Are there openings/ holes to connect the plug to tbe pedal ?The concept i seems very cool , but the cables and wires seem like it could make it bulky , anyway great review 👍

      Thanks. Basically with the Pedal Carpet you cut a hole where you want the cable to come through. You can do this with scissors or a utility knife. Kinda makes things a little wonky if you’re constantly swapping things in and out but if you have a set board and just want a quick and easy option this works well enough.

    You holding the finished pedalboard while you are talking makes me think of you holding an accordion.

    Compared to a Pedaltrain Nano + it actually looks like a bigger package. Interesting though.

    looks like a pretty cool solution to me, not as bulky and more flexible than the well known options. Then again, I just have a small flightcase I stuff with my OD, distortion, 1 delay and phaser. :'D

    • @SeanPierceJohnson
      @SeanPierceJohnson  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a cool option. Though I think the well known options would have an easier build.

      Well there is that yes. especially considering most of the world has something like a voodoo lab, ciox or similar device for powering their pedals. Still, if you can build light it's an option.

      Totally, that's probably my favorite part...lightweight board and lightweight transport case

    If you buy this ...no pedal? Just carpet?

    Compared to the pedaltrain metro series, there's no way this is better. I just can't see the soft "board" really protecting anything from the floor, and you're stomping all over your power cables. There's just way too much movement.
    That said, it might be a good way to transport pedals. Like, I could see it for a single gig, maybe. But it doesn't seem that much more portable than a traditional hard board.
    I guess I just don't get it.
    Thanks for the video, though!

      Hey man, I hear you. I haven't traveled with it yet. I don't think protection from the floor is a problem since so many guys will still put pedals on the floor but the power cables could be an issue. I suppose you could solve it by running the wires at the fold though.

      SeanPierceJohnson I do like that it folds up. It seems like it'd be a great weekend option, but not so much a permanent travel rig.

    Is there music and singing going on simultaneously? Kind of distracting. Next time, use instrumental. Just a thought

    • @SeanPierceJohnson
      @SeanPierceJohnson  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      well the video was made over 2 years ago and there's been a lot of videos since then with instrumental so i learned that lesson
