I am in Scotland and was unaware of how much talent was from Netherlands until a few years ago watching Beste Zangers. For a "smaller nation" what a wealth of talent there is and covering so many genres. I could list loads of acts but it would be huge....I don't understand how Kensington can be so huge there and virtually unknown here.
I don't understand a word of the language but it sounds amazing when acts like Miss Montreal, Samantha Steenwijk and many others perform it.

Oh man, you're gonna love her Eurovision performance, "The Power of Water (Sweet Water)" she and her team wrote that song for an interval performance during the first semi finals.
Davina, like Emma Heesters, found first fame on youtube, she blew up with a cover she did by Pink (Pink reacted to her performance and was blown away), eventually Davina ended up in Beste Zangers and well... the rest is pretty much history, she's one of the big artists here now.
So yeah, she is this good live and... well.. you now know you can find plenty of killer live material from this young lady :D

Maybe somebody said it already in the comments but I say it anyway. Before Davina became famous, she did covers on TH-cam. She Sang a cover of P!nk called What About Us. p!nk saw that song on TH-cam and she was so impressed and stunned. She said that she couldn’t do it better. That a Hugh compliment. From that moment she went like a train in The Netherlands but also outside.
P!nk asked Davina if she wanted to sing at the P!nk concert in The Netherlands at the Malieveld in The Hague. She went nuts. Such an honor. She has a beautiful voice with a RAW edge that makes it special. She is great. 🫶🏻

I'm glad that you play so much Dutch music, I know it's only a small country on earth but there is so much musical potential in this small country, pop, classical, or jazz, it doesn't matter what music is played. It's still a dream for many artists to go to America (when you can make there you make it everywhere) but that's total nonsense. I mean we can already be reached every where via the internet and I thank you for your contribution .

Hey, I hope you’re having a great day :) I just found some kpop reactions on your channel and I just have to say that I really appreciate you checking them out! I’ve been a kpop fan for a while now and there are very few reaction TH-camrs who are as passionate, observant, and respectful as you, so thank you. The first group that actually got me into kpop was also Blackpink, funny enough and they are still one of my favorites to this day. I know you just recently reacted to Everglow and I am also a fan of them! It is probably a lot to take in with each new group but I want to recommend my favorite group to you. They are a 7 member girl group called Dreamcatcher. I’ve noticed some amazing vocal reactions on your channel and I have to say, Dreamcatcher has some of the best vocals in kpop. Plus, their music videos are very elaborate and story driven. They have rock inspired music and their videos have elements of horror and fantasy. If you had time, I’d love for you to watch their music video called BOCA. I’d recommend that you put captions on, which you probably already know by now. As for a live performance, I would suggest Break The Wall (hopefully you can find the version with captions on YT). Anyways, thank you again for your reactions. I look forward to your coming videos. the big difference between Dutch singers and especially the American singers is that an American singer thinks of himself and says that he or she is good.
a Dutch singer sings his or her best and does everything he can to be or become as good as possible and let others determine and say whether that is good.
with us here in the Netherlands you are not going to say that you are good.
you leave that to the audience or your fellow singers .
and if you are really good, others will say that about you as well, such as Floor Jansen.
but saying you are good here is a bit like swearing in church! .

Here is another superb Dutch vocalist, Cato Van Dijk, who was invited by synthesizer geek Colin Benders (if you really want to see something trippy then go watch the live videos of his Kyteman Hip Hop Orkest) to join him in rendition of the Donna Summer / Giorgio Moroder classic I Feel Love. This was all for a Dutch Saturday evening tv show, probably the best thing we seen this year on TV here. The moment the music modulates a step up and Cato goes in overdrive vocally is amazing.
