One of the best CASPer test prep strategies is reviewing CASPer question examples, followed by multiple realistic practice tests and expert feedback.
In this video, we're going to share with you the same strategies we share with our students. You’ll learn about some of the most common CASPer test question categories and CASPer test question types, along with strategies for handling these effectively through sample questions and analysis. Together, these provide a solid overview of some of the fundamental kinds of CASPer test questions you might encounter, with insights to support your CASPer test prep.
In taking the CASPer test, you will be presented with 15 prompts, one at a time, and you will have to respond to a set of three questions related to each prompt. The prompts are presented in either video or text format, and are often based on thought-provoking, real-life situations, professional ethics, and hot topics in your field, and the associated questions offer you the opportunity to demonstrate key qualities sought in professionals in your discipline. Note that, while the CASPer test is intended to gauge certain characteristics in evaluating applicants in specific disciplines, the prompts themselves are not necessarily based exclusively on information in those disciplines.
Still a little intimidated? Do not fret, we are here to guide you! Check out what our video will cover:

Senario summary: you freind constantly misses class and asks you for notes. she has personal struggles at home affecting her academically. What would you do?
To outline a short possible answer to the question proposed:
Firstly, I would acknowledge that my friend is going through a difficult time that is affecting her academically and I would want to show her both empathy and support. I also think it is important that she be made aware of the strain she may be placing on myself or others and the importance for her to be responsible for her academics. I would speak to her privately and see what support I can offer her. Mabye recommend her resources for personal, financial, or academic support through the school. I would encourage her to reach out to the professor and TA to see if they can also offer some resources. I would also follow up with her regularly to see how she is doing. If it becomes an issue, I will reach out to a TA.
    Am I missing something?

You mention that they could ask about political things such as abortion and your opinion on women's rights. Would I want to share my opinion on abortion specifically or focus more on my thoughts on women's rights as a whole?

Hello Cameron! Thanks for your question. The key is to stay objective. You can certainly demonstrate your own opinion on the policy in your answer, but you must also showcase that you can see the issue from the other standpoint that opposes your opinion. Whatever issue they bring up, you must demonstrate that you know both sides of the issue and can remain an objective judge.

It is good to keep in mind when giving response examples that you have 5 minutes for your types response where you need to answer 3 different questions based on the scenario OR you have to 2 questions to answer based on the scenario with a 1 minute video response for each question (as of 2023/2024).

Hi! Thanks so much for your comment. If you provide 1 or 2 answers that address all the important themes of the scenario before you, you will still get a good score. Though you should try to address all 3 questions, you do not have to answer all 3 questions to get a great score! Let us know if we can help in any other way!

In the case of ethics, should public sentiment and political correctness play a role in which side you choose? or is it okay to either way so long as you showcase your understanding of the others view points, validate them as being real, but explain why you chose your side? Where you demonstrate your competency in the tested areas without compromising your personal beliefs as opposed to conforming to social expectations? This goes for eugenics, gender affirming care, size tailored medicine, euthanasia etc.

Hi painkillerasprin. In policy questions, you should share your personal opinion at the end, whether it's in line with one of the sides, or if it's unique to you.
