I live and was raised on Staten Island and I’ve run into Shotgun on a number of occasions and each time he is the NICEST and most approachable person you can hope to meet. I remember once shopping at Pathmark on Richmond Ave and he was shopping there with his kids. Now if I was shopping with my kids and just wanted to get done and had people coming up to me to ask for autographs, i would probably not be so nice (not that anyone wants autograph lol). Method Man was nice, polite and kind to everyone. When he was done shopping he gave the cashier a $50 and told her he appreciated her for what she does. That is the sign of a truly good person.

The realist ppl I've met. I met Method on the set of a twilight Zone episode i was in and he spoke with me on the set for a good 30min. Nothing but admiration and an incredible artist!

Method man used to work at the statue of liberty with my brother and sister, he used to play a game with cards once in the blue while on break, really cool dude, he also signed my fitted cap long ago.
Method now looks like a man who, when threatened in the streets, quietly steps back, gets himself and his friends to safety, and calls the police. And I mean that absolutely positively. He looks good! Healthy, decent, well articulated. He enjoys life, podcasting, collecting comics, having family and so on. Nevertheless, don't forget where he comes from. Much respect.
