- RZA talks about being on our show with Wu-Tang in Brooklyn, having a crazy dream about appearing on our show but Ricky Gervais was hosting instead of Jimmy, performing with the Colorado Symphony and composing a ballet, season three of “Wu-Tang: An American Saga,” and he reads lyrics he wrote when he was a teenager.

Rza is such a blessing in hip hop. We are all so blessed to have him.
RZA!!! Such a prolific mind as a teen! I am so grateful his gift was embraced. So inspiring! ❤
He is so polite and well spoken - asking if Jimmy minds if he reads this and that and tells him about his dream. Not many would.
RZA should most definitely publish his notes as a book, maybe with some notes (like the one he mentioned on the show about not liking the way a teacher ogled a student) explaining how old he was, what was happening in his life at the time or his thought process, etc. He was a prodigy!!! Absolutely brilliant imho. I would LOVE to read more. Please, RZA, if you read the comments on here, think about it for real! ❤
RZA has written two books. His first book (The Wu-Tang Manual) was published in 2005. His second book (Tao Of Wu) was published in 2009.
Yeah he has books. Check ‘em out. His autobio is good.
Writing quality like that at the age of 14 is mind blowing. A true lyrical prodigy
I'd like to see the ballet! He killed it at 14 too!! He's so talented!
Seriously that sounds awesome! Very curious how it all came together.
Check out the Colorado Symphony's page there are some videos up!
@@landonfolken03 It was glorious! Choreography was pretty good, but everything else was spectacular
@@fur_fox_ache5603 I'm so jealous!
Without RZA, no Wu-Tang Clan. Greatest rap group of all time and a MAJOR reason why I started listening to rap music. My first encounter was For Heavens Sake in 97. Radio DJ never said the name of the song and I spent about half a year searching for the name of the artist. Then out of nowhere I am going through my friends older brothers cd collection and I see what was ultimately the Wu-Tang Forever album. I had never heard of them before, but the cover looked dope so I popped the first disc in the ce player and pressed play. Intro… Reunited… and then it’s like an atomic bomb (shout to Deck) going off when I get to the third track and realize that is the song I’ve been searching for for so long! I became a fan right then and there and spent the next couple of weeks buying every Wu-Tang album and Wu-Tang affiliated album available in the record store. Mind you, this is Norway in 97, so I had to search high and low to get my hands on everything, but I eventually got them all. Never looked back ever since. Wu-Tang for ever and ever 👐🏽
Incredible Story 👊!!! Thank You For Sharing It To Us It's Very Heartfelt And Amazingly Expressed 🙏 ❤️ 🎶 🎶 🎼 🎶 🎶

@Spateri stop it. I'm considered an old head, but you'd have to be 80 and stopped listening to rap past the first generation.

The RZA is everything as superstar should be. And I'm a 61 year old white man.

Who would have thought Rza went from Gravediggaz to directing Ballet lol.
2. I wonder if it's the same Usha who went viral on social media for doing Bharthanatyam over classic Hip Hop songs
😂 dude I was thinking this exactly, GraveDiggaz to ballet. It’s crazy to think about, but in a good way.

I really hope one day people fully embrace hip hop like rock & roll. Hip hop embraces all the genres before it came to be. It's getting its respect but not at the level it should in certain circles. People aren't willing to listen.
