This is beautiful. A definitive simple introductory documentary of the legendary NY group. Sorta like "a basic documentary of the Wu-Tang for Beginners"😄 For brand new fans who wanna know about the group, and the members.
Emerging in 1993, when Dr. Dre's G-funk had overtaken the hip-hop world, the Staten Island, New York-based Wu-Tang Clan proved to be the most revolutionary rap group of the mid-'90s -- and only partially because of their music. Turning the standard concept of a hip-hop crew inside out, the Wu-Tang Clan were assembled as a loose congregation of nine MCs, almost as a support group. Instead of releasing one album after another, the Clan were designed to overtake the record industry in as profitable a fashion as possible -- the idea was to establish the Wu-Tang as a force with their debut album and then spin off into as many side projects as possible. In the process, the members would all become individual stars as well as receive individual royalty checks.
@ 18:45 I love RZA's 5 second explanation for wu tang "wu tang is a hundred percent natural na I'm sayin, no artificial ingredients." No further explanation is needed
For me...I was just in my 20s,I listened to everything and everybody over the years of all genres. When I heard the Wu it just shut down anyone else for me unless they were as conscious and as lyrical as they all were. The beats were oh so serious and this music will last forever!

Never heard of these guys til i seen the damn hulu ad about their life and made me curious / so here. I am the disco queen listening to this- and um - who ever changed rap/hiphop to the junk it is today should be ashamed ,these guys had that something extra these dudes today are lacking .. these guys were story tellers the 90s version of soul music, telling the stories of strength pain and sorrow in these songs- damn these guys had to of lived a hellish life glad they had the fuel in their soul to get out n do better and speak out for their neighbors.. never thought a rap- hip hop group could bring me to tears- their story- damn..
" WU-TANG" unique in styles, sounds, lyrics and voice of a generation of the projects heard across the world. They deserve all the credit praised upon them. To this day the music they created are masterpieces compared to the POP-HIP studio mumblers with their processed cheese sound lol
Something was going on there. Ghostface keeps looking at Dirty. U God tugs at Dirty and pulls him, Gza starts looking at Dirty and they make a few gestures. Dirty’s last gesture seems to be towards Meth who was talking. Many of the members used to say Meth would bogart often lol.
RZA really knew where this was going. The confidence he has when he embarks on a project is insane. He was destined to be a director.

Man ODB, seeing him sober, he’s actually real smart you know, if only he would have stayed off the drugs dude
They also have a 4-part documentary on Showtime that premiered a few months ago. You should check it out if you get a chance.
TeeTees Mansion Never heard? Wow! Welcome to earth 😆
" WU-TANG" unique in styles, sounds, lyrics and voice of a generation of the projects heard across the world. They deserve all the credit praised upon them. To this day the music they created are masterpieces compared to the POP-HIP studio mumblers with their processed cheese sound lol
At the 11:45 mark ODB & GZA had a conversation with no words & RZA heard them thinking 😂🙌🏽
@@DanielGonzalez-me9tm There's was definitely a conversation being had lol
