How Final Fantasy 7 absolutely broke me

- Final Fantasy 7 was a game I did not expect to enjoy as much as I did. I attempt to give you my perspective of the game through the analysis of it's soundtrack.
Disclaimer: This video was something I had started working on a while ago but gave up on it. As a result, you will notice a few inaccuracies in the language I use to describe certain moments and some script errors as well. I am not well educated on all the specific musical techniques used in all of these tracks but I try my best to describe what I felt as I heard them. After going back to this video I decided to finally release it.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a 2020 action role-playing game by Square Enix. It is the first in a planned trilogy of games remaking the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII. Set in the dystopian cyberpunk metropolis of Midgar, players control the mercenary Cloud Strife. He joins AVALANCHE, an eco-terrorist group trying to stop the powerful megacorporation Shinra from using the planet's life essence as an energy source. The gameplay combines real-time action with role-playing elements. Remake was released for the PlayStation 4 in April 2020.

Aerith scenes always have like really REALLY GOOD music like they're doing this on purpose, they want us to cry for her

Aerith was easily the best character in this game and the only reason I’m way to excited for the next part of the story. I’ve played the original so I hope they surprise us. I don’t want the story to be exactly the same, or what’s the point waiting 10 years to get a full trilogy of brand new games.
They're probably going to give us a Zach and Cloud vs Sephiroth fight tbh
