I can't stress this enough, the Illinois helmets and uniforms were absolutely phenomenal! Perfectly detailed helmets, classic looking uniforms, and a really great look. I am still blown away by this look. I wasn't going to watch this game initially, then I saw the helmets and I stopped the remote surfing. I stayed on this game and I was again blown away by how incredible they looked. 10/10, 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, A++, 110%! If every team did something similar to this, the NCAA's sales of specialty products would skyrocket!
Living a dream this season! I have had family season tickets since I was seven years old and have had my own for a while now and this was the best crowd I’ve seen in my life! Such an electric atmosphere. Michigan is obviously down this year, but as an ILLINI this was something special to experience. Really proud of our kids and thrilled for our program. A long way to go still, but I’ve never been more positive about the future. Great time to be alive! 🧡💙🏈🧡💙

10 new starters on offense . Half their defense are also new starters. Lost 90 % of their brilliant coaching staff to promotion to the higher paying NFL. All honest astute and sane people knew this would be a major rebuild year, not a reload year .Michigan led all schools in NFL draft picks. That ,plus graduation losses, made this season a major come down for the 3 time consecutive Big Ten champions and 2023 national champion. Most such UM fans expected - given they have the toughest schedule in the nation yet again, just like last season - that rebuilding UM would likely go 7-6 . They can still reach that goal and win a minor bowl. This is a major rebuild ,not a reload type season. Case closed.

10 new starters on offense . Half their defense are also new starters. Lost 90 % of their brilliant coaching staff to promotion to the higher paying NFL. All honest astute and sane people knew this would be a major rebuild year, not a reload year .Michigan led all schools in NFL draft picks. That ,plus graduation losses, made this season a major come down for the 3 time consecutive Big Ten champions and 2023 national champion. Most such UM fans expected - given they have the toughest schedule in the nation yet again, just like last season - that rebuilding UM would likely go 7-6 . They can still reach that goal and win a minor bowl.
This is a major rebuild ,not a reload type season. Case closed.
Thank you, I also knew the same stuff and I don't understand why many UM fans are pissed off. Sure I'm also disappointed in our record but I'm not surprised, we've lost our major talents to the draft and our coaching staff are also replaced.

Recruiting will completely fall off a cliff. No player or coach wants to be at a program that can't compete post season and it's hard to get out of that hole. Get used to this... It's sad that this fan base refuses to see the correlation to the years of Stalions and cheating being identical to their flash in the pan success of 21-23.
