That is one of the best plays I've seen let alone in such awful conditions. See?!? Buffalo should keep playing outdoors. It suits their game style and the fans love it.

I live in the UK and was first introduced to the NFL back in 1984. That sort of weather would have brought all sport in the UK to a grinding halt. How anyone could see the ball in the air in those conditions is beyond belief, guess that’s what makes the NFL so exciting to watch. Great game and congrats to the Bills on the win.

Football in snow is a lot of fun. Yes, a pass can disappear in the snow, but you can usually pick up the arm movement of the QB and then just stay in your route, and at some point the ball reappears. The QB would have lofted it to give you a chance to get under it and you can still catch a lot of those. What makes it so fun is you have such little grip that you can't make cuts, so you're taking wide turns flat footed, kind of like a cartoon character on ice, just trying to keep your feet under you. Another aspect is early winter snow flurries have big flakes, so the ball is kind of glazed. That makes it easy for the defense to punch a ball out, force a fumble, and then everyone's diving for the ball.
The lateral play was one of the highlights of the season- bullet throw, crazy grab, referees not blowing the play dead on forward progress, Allen running towards Cooper instinctively, and going all out for the touchdown- adds up to amazing.
I was at the Giants vs Bills game in 2007 when they crushed the Bills with Jacobs and Bradshaw. Not happy to see the Bills lose but happy to see the Giants take down the Patriots. Maybe this Bills team has some of that magic.

Grew up playing snow games in MN as well. This is why I made sure to watch the highlights of this one. Any snow NFL game is :) Totally takes me back to tackling the ball carrier and sliding with them on ground impact. + I still remmber those hits from linemen in cold weather.

AFC will be interesting to watch in the playoffs, Steelers, Bills, and Chiefs hard to predict the divisional game. Looks like the Seahawks will squeak into the playoffs on the NFC side (my team) but I doubt that they make it past the divisional round at most. As a Buffalo southtowns native, it really is wild to see after so long. I was at the local ski resort (here in Colorado) for one of the playoff games last season, and virtually everyone in the bar/restaurant was rooting for the Bills. Just incredible.

AFC will be interesting to watch in the playoffs, Steelers, Bills, and Chiefs hard to predict the divisional game. Looks like the Seahawks will squeak into the playoffs on the NFC side (my team) but I doubt that they make it past the divisional round at most. Other than Detroit it's kind of a meh season for the NFC.

As a Buffalo southtowns native, it really is wild to see after so long. I was at the local ski resort (here in Colorado) for one of the playoff games last season, and virtually everyone in the bar/restaurant was rooting for the Bills. Just incredible.
