One big tip to help you with yanfei team try to get more em on kazucha and swirl pyro before ataking with his skil so pyro resistance is lowered with verdecent set then you can go thought your hydro supports and swirl hydro with kazuha burst so you got more hydro application for your yanfei to vape , keep up the good work🎉, and congrates you your run

What other units do you have on your account? And what units if any are you interested in pulling for or getting/planning to if you know already.
Off the top of my head from seeing gameplay you’re actually doing a very good job (Genshin is a mechanically very simple game tbf) but the hard part is team building. Having a plan for the long term is the only way to reliably start raising characters imo and it’s very important to always ask yourself what changes you can make to an account.
Genshins content and meta is changing with each patch and new abyss. So keep an open mind and an eye out. You’d be surprised how many team comps you can make work the more you know.

it took me YEARS to finally be able to clear 12-3 with 36* and it happened only when i saved months for a c1 hu tao and ended up with her, yelan and their weapons ☠️ i think my builds were just a$$ back then but at least after like 2 years i was finally able to clear it!!!

@@smthsmthsmthsmth hyperbloom teams are genuinely a lifesaver if you're trying to find an easier route to clear the content in game, when i got my 36* for the first time the other team i was using was a hyperbloom one. granted it wasn't the best (it was Tighnari, Yae, Kokomi and Kazuha just for CC and to apply hydro when grouping enemies) but it was getting the job done. now im using Arle C0R1 and Neuvi C1R1 (got lucky with C1) and have no difficulty in doing it whatsoever, saving primos was VERY worth it lol

@@JN-jx7nx abyss really gets easier... at the start of every new region it's the easiest (like 3.0, 4.0, 5.0...) but it's the hardest before the next region releases (like 3.8, 4.8...)
the abyss gets harder as time goes on😭 it only gets easier with a lot of time and effort spent on building your characters better (endless artifact hunting)

I got good news and bad news. Good news you did really well for not having any pyro characters bottom half. That old abyss heavily favored pyro and everyone uses xiangling bennett, so the fact you got 27* without pyro is great, and also the new abyss heavily favors hydro on the bottom half, and the top half is easy after the first chamber (it’s old bosses that don’t have a lot of hp)
Bad news is that the new abyss is likely impossible for you to clear 2* each floor due to the fact that there are 4 waves of enemies on some floors and concentrated beasts are back. Also top half requires electro, so fischl is glued to top half, which means no electro charged teams on bottom.
Ugh I struggled more with 12-1 than I did with 12-2 and 3, whoever designed 12-1 should be sued sjsjsjsj. I managed to 3 star 12-2 and 3 in 1 try but not 12-1
i don't think it's impossible to 36*, but I think you'll have to swap to different teams in order to clear some of the floors. i had to use a different team in order to 3 star the first chamber. still, I hateeeeeeee the artificial difficulty with the waves of enemies, esp when they're spawning all the way on the other side of the chamber...
I wouldn’t say electro is needed for top half but uh without electro you need some super high DPS team to clear asimon without wasting too much time lmao
lowk its really easy to just run with bloom and hyperbloom. It takes like no time to build and you only need c0s.
I was finally able to 36* the abyss after getting C6 Gaming, and I gotta say. 12-1 was the real struggle, while 12-3 is lowkey breeze. (As long as I have everyone’s burst on Gaming’s team)

As someone who 36 stars, u take me back to 1st half of 2021 when eula and albedo hard carried my acc. What I can say is:
1 - Focus on finishing the chamber, no matter how long it takes. You can see better your improvement if you know the time you take on the chambers
2 - Try squeezing a star if there's a difference of 20s or less. This is doable if you think characters didn't crit, lost time with knockback/freeze or a bs atk that hit you
3 - Invest in characters (only important talents on 8 or above) and git gud (that's the hard part)
I hope to see your first 36 this year, but this last one was pain, agony and suffering

I'm an abyss speed runner and I have less than 450 achievement at AR60, all I do is grind artifact and do abyss 12 over and over again.
Makes me want to play yanfei again. She was my first main before even inazuma came out. Keep it up!

so something I REALLY advise is finding a team to use xiangling in, ESPECIALLY xiangling + bennet + xingqiu, because that team comp by itself can carry you through floor twelve, those three plus your kazuha would be a kick ass team (I believe its called kazuha national), but xiangling is a huge help for clearing abyss

at first i thought it was the current 4.7 abyss and i was really worried for you but thankfully the previous one was difficult but more manageable. i've 36 starred for years but my teams are extremely overpowered and high investment to make up for my lack of skill lol. you did great considering your teams and builds. one of my first memories of spiral was being in floor 12, streaming to my friend on discord, i was playing the ayaka team against PMA and it was brutal. i genuinely think i ran out of time on12-3 bc that team and that boss ... were not a good match.
you're also only ar56, i think i must've been 57-58 before i even got 36*... one day you will get there (if you want to)!

As a "veteran" who started playing this game on Version 1.6 i have been stuck on Floor 5-3 for 3 years straight due to me not having enough built characters for 2nd half till i decided to come back to this game in 2024 and even though not all i improved a bunch of stuff including my main team, exploration and more and i love how despite not having more then 5-6 characters built i still manage to get to floor 10-3 with 2-3 party members (half of which were lvl 50 or even 20) and some strategizing. Currently not able to get a SINGLE star in 11-1 due to the fact its defending a monolith. Still proud.
As a 1.2 player personally I have a similar problem. I have an amazing Hu Tao, a decent Ganyu and Furina, but due to me doing stupid stuff with my artifacts/resources because I never watched guides I don't have sufficient supports built, only DPS.
if you revise your builds i think youre gonna slay the floor 12. i was amazed how well you dodged with your yanfei team- im a yanfei main but ive never been able to keep her alive in floor 12 😭 so i cant bring her

Reminds me of my first time beating Abyss, I did floor 12 for whole two stars. And then I took one cycle break, not entering Abyss at all. Only then I returned and tried again and better.
I regularly 36-star Abyss now but it's never been fun for me. I do it for the primos and over time as my characters got better, even my clears became easier. But still, even today I sometimes need to get back and pick different teams to 3-star the next chamber.
Great editing!…. Keep building your units and you’ll get there… AR56 is still quite tough for 36 stars… recommend strongboxing Clam pieces for Kokomi, you want a healing bonus circlet for her too.. Monohydro is really strong (Kazuha, Furina Kokomi, and either XQ or Yanfei) but that leaves your other team struggling::: if you had Bennett/XL could do Zhongli/Navia with them… but that leaves your Yanfei in the cold

seeing a yanfei main is so refreshing coming from a yanfei main for 3 years aswell, mine is triple crowned but definately has some suspecious sets going on in her artifacts (she has 60 something cr and 200+ cd so idc) AND SHES SO ICONIC AAAAA YANFEI MAINS ARISE!!

i am never even touching floor 12 because artifacts absolutely hate me and i get no good pieces for anyone 🤤🤤
All you need is two built carries and throw all your energy recharge artifacts on your supports, the set doesn't matter, and you will at least be able to clear the floor assuming your team comps are not scuffed and you rotates properly. And remember: non of the artifact stats matters until you have enough recharge on your characters to rotate without downtime.
even as someone who does do spiral regularly, this was very enjoyable to watch. aah it brings me back to the times when I used to struggle as well. it's like I can relive my journey through yours haha. this was a pretty tough abyss too so honestly huge kudos to you for getting those 5 stars! I wish you the best of luck if you ever want to continue!
I was a floor 12 ignorer until the latter half of last year. I was clearing 11 easily but 12 was just SO daunting and such a clear difficulty increase that I figured I’d never be able to actually complete it.
I started by just… clearing it. No stars, just doing my best to get to the bottom of it. I felt so accomplished just reaching the bottom and seeing that “You may yet shake the stars and the abyss…” message. I’m unfortunately a genshin lore fan, so cryptic messages like that are cool 2 me.
Eventually, I kept building characters and playing with my clear goal in mind and was able to start getting stars, one at a time. The more I tried and the more I built characters, the better I got. Eventually, I was able to 36 star at the start of this year, and I’ve been full clearing every reset since then. The extra primos are nice but honestly I’ve been fiending for that extra Mora, LOL
This game is incredibly fun no matter what you decide to focus on, imo.

As someone who 36*s abyss (i did it this time around too with what people have dubbed the hardest abyss), looking at new people attempt abyss is actually a fresh feeling and almost nostalgic- the panic when you see a boss you have never seen, the overwhelming firepower/ tank ahh enemies that even an ac130 couldn't bomb down, the feeling of satisfaction when you finally get it down within the time you want to, I really appreciate this. You know this was a cool video to watch! And it reminds me of how uh yeah genshin can be difficult. It’s just the likes of people that say it’s too easy do abyss like clockwork with optional rotations and understanding enemy patterns to a tee etc etc. Theres actually quite a lot of knowledge needed to breeze through this and even at that I still mess up xD
I reiple crowned my yanfei a long time ago. Gave her wanderers troupe, and now she hits like a truck carryung 2 busses and a tugboat with a 747 jammed in it.

My only advice is to ignore the meta. Play who u want to and how u want to. But obviously dont ignore it completely, if a build isnt working then u should change it. Take this advice with a grain of salt since i am almost ar 60 and havent full starred the abyss before 😿 i think itd be really fun to see u make more videos of u trying the new abysses
srry no… the meta isn’t very important but it’s not ignorable either if u wanna beat f12 for a while consistently. playing who u want to & how is fine & i do it too often but it can come with consequences if u dont also try focusing on getting meta characters sometimes

@@DefinitelyNotAFerret I also only buy weikins and mainly focus on getting and building stables like Sucrose, Bennet, XQ, Nahida, Kazuha, Zhongli, Furina, Yelan, etc. Arlecchino and Neuvillete are my only main dps right now.

i’ve been playing for two years. i have (imo, at least) really nicely built characters, good characters (such as navia, or neuvilette, cyno, furina - basically really good units) and i’d say i’m pretty good at the game.
i’ve only managed to clear floor 12 once. not 36* it. clear it. with two stars across all three chambers.
now idk if it’s just me actually being shit at it, or the fact i’m not a whale, but i’ve always struggled with floor 12. and tbh - i can live with that.
still, a huge round of applause for trying to do it. i love seeing realistic attempts from people who aren’t try hard players who don’t breathe artifact farming
Its say its probably either a matter of teambuilding or just the specifics of the abbyss. Some abbysses require very specific elements and team compositions that someone might just not have. Either way, good luck if you continue trying!

Let's go fellow yanfei main. Honestly, if you try to still main her, 2 crown her (NA an Burst). She's really strong, easy to use and kinda self sustain (with C4). My yanfei is also C6 and R3(same weapon). My go to team is yanfei, furina, yelan, and Bennett, all running favonius weapon except yanfei. Very sustainable rotation
