@@RedClaw7 nope!! it seems to progress pretty steadily in terms of being able to unlock things on every island. unless the challenge includes not going back to turn in more which it might (I haven’t watched the vid since my first comment..) but there’s usually enough chests and puzzles that don’t involve the electrogranum to get close to 100 anyway
A few pointers for the interactive map. Turn on chests and puzzles, and when you collect a chest or complete a puzzle, select it on the map and click the "mark as found" button. This fades it out so you know which ones you've done, and you can click a toggle to hide them completely. This will be helpful as 100% isn't what everything in the area totals to, its just that 100 is as high as the indicator allows. So if you know what you have cleared and what you haven't then you may be able to dodge the things that aren't possible. All the things that should be turned on: Oculi, Spirit Carp, Crimson Agate, Shrine of Depths All chests All Puzzles Most of the Collection catagory (all except books, interactive text, recipe, archaic stone, spincrystals) Wooden crates, Eight Stone Tablets, Three Boxes, Smashed Stone, Rock Pile, Fontaine Place of Interest, Aranara
I would turn Rock Pile, Fontaine Place of Interest, Smashed Stone, on cause it does count into the exploration progress to my testing, and who doesn't like free 10-30k free mora
After this video I can finally consider myself normal. I personally explore Areas to 100% before unlocking the others on every acc I have/had. Seeing the yellow 100% is so relaxing for me lol

Some of them require you to kill random enemies or pick up items, if you use the interactive map and look at the comments you can tell which ones are hidden "puzzles" One of them was literally pick up this random fruit and it spawns a chest

a tip for low ar players against overleveled bosses: if you cant do much damage, like amber, use barbara and lisa. transformative reactions do a lot of damage at low ar, so stuff like overload and electro charge do a lot mroe damage than youd think. this is coming from someone with 4 accounts, i know my early ar gameplay by now

Just an advice tho, I believe it would be easier and more achievable if you were to go maxing main regions by regions (Mondstadt 100%, then Liyue 100%, etc). I guess it would also show what a consistent perfectionist account would look like with enough dedication and effort. Keep up the good work!

Some advice from someone who was done 100% on all regions: The oculi/collectables, Chests, Waypoints, challenges, shrines and most importantly *Mora chests* [rock piles that give mora stuff like that] count towards % !! Use the map and click on the chests and mark them down. That way they become opaque and you can keep track of what chests you have collected you can even maybe watch some youtube guides which can speed things up [but it probably won't be good content] Have fun!
as much as this is so relaxing to my ocd, I think some chests only appear after you do some quests. at least in Fontaine I've noticed that I was exploring and I was like "huh why is this area so empty", and after I complete the next chapter of the archon quest, puzzles, hydroculis and enemies and chests appeared. but I'm at the first 3 minutes of this video, maybe you have pointed that out lmao and found a way to do this. also maybe I didn't get what you're trying to do 🗣️
i believe its technically possible to go out of bounds where you were stuck in the beginning by doing the timefreeze glitch with the millelith artifact set since it can be found on the map before the paimon barrier expands, but it wouldnt matter anyway since while in the timefreeze glitch state chests cannot be opened. another thing you couldve done is done is the method of going out of bounds that moosashi used in a similar situation, basically you couldve walked out the barrier until paimon started pushing you back and then logged out of the game, logged back in, walked forward for like a second and then repeated the previous steps. it would take hours and hours to get all chests that are not locked behind combat or puzzles but technically its possible... it probably it wouldnt have been enough to get 100%.

However, as demonstrated by youtuber Moosashi, there are a few lesses known, more robust tricks that you could've used to break the Paimon barrier permanently. At which point you can just Ice Bridge there with Kaeya. As for the Shrine of Depths, there are only two in Starfell Valley. And you can acquire five SoDK without leaving the region. One in Amber's domain at AR 12, one in Kaeya's domain at AR 15 and three from the Ascencion Quest in the Midsummer Courtyard at AR 25. (Which would require a lot of Dailies and lucky Leyline Blossom spots). And you *CAN* reach the Time and Wind Island by gliding. You would just need the Barbatos Ratatouile (which you unlock in that region by talking to an NPC), Amber in the party for the passive, a Northern Smoked Chicken (which you can get from Mika's birthday mail on August 11), and preferably an Anemo ressonance (which you can get by being lucky with an Anemo character from pulls or getting the free Lynette at AR 25). Of course, it would take absurdly long, but it *is* still possible within the challenge rules, and I personally would not fault someone for skipping skill-less grinding. 17:55 That's an Eye of the Storm property. Whenever it's hit while charging either of it's two airborn attacks (the ground slam and the constant damage one), it will instead flop to the ground and get stunned. But this does not happen with the spinning attack, which it charges at ground level.
Having this be improvised on the spot is so fun and equally aggravating, I love it. But also you could’ve cut down a lot of time if you grinded the Cryo-Regisvine. Gives more AREXP than Ley Lines and because it’s a boss you get a pretty hefty amount of EXP alone. It’ll take a while but at this point of the game it’s your best method of AR grinding next to using Magic Crystal Ore (the dark blue ore) and spam forging them (they give 10 AREXP per forge and 5 Friendship EXP). Plus Kaeya gets buffed and as of this point of the game you’re pretty limited to just running Melt with Kaeya and Amber.
for challenges like this, i think its best if you follow a chest route video. also, if you want to use the interactive map, you can "mark as found" for better navigation and keeping track of your progess
Answering the question, you wouldn't be ruined if you didn't have all the elements. I've seen a dude walking through the game with the traveler only. And to make it worse, he used ONLY the type of traveller of the region he was in. So for all the monuments and shit he used to take some slimes where they were needed and then swirl whatever element he needed. And if he couldn't do it in the plot related domains he would be looking for glitches to go on.
The only thing im missing in Monstadt is 3% of Starfell Valley. Ive maxed Rep, done all the World Quests, 100% the other areas, and im damn sure ive cleared out the overworld chests in Starfell. That 3% is laughing at me.

I love this idea for a challenge, and i hate this idea for a new player.. The reason is if you spend too much time exploring you will lose out on a lot of events that comes with new content.. so if you are new i would recommend exploring from A to B on your main quest, but wait with side quests and main exploration until you are done with MSQ simply so you have access to all the primo gems you can.
To get around the quest issues and stuff you could sliiiightly shift the challenge to be that instead of not being able to move on, you just can’t unlock any waypoints in the new area until you get 100% in the previous. Just an idea and I love this concept!’ Great video dude!!

I had the same idea a year ago, but I got lazy and only finished mondstadt. I barely started the Liyue Archon Quest in that account. Glad to see someone else doing this.
that fight against the eye of the storm gave me flashbacks for sureee I remember how much I hated it that mf took me forever to beat, that and the ruin guard in the colysseum looking place, I remember HATING going there
I *pretty much* did this before going to sumeru ( sumeru was out when i started playing) After inazuma, i knew i had alot of content to catch up on and sumeru was MASSIVE. So i 100% all of inazuma, did pretty much all the quests ( except time locked ones and daily ones). Went back to mondstat, 100 percented it. Did alot of liyue. Did all quests from liyue and mondstat and then entered sumeru for the first time Im very glad i did that. It allowed me to really savour sumeru
in case you don’t know, when the eye of the storm is up in the sky and shooting around with the rocks (where you have to fly up to not get hit), if you shoot it it will cancel it’s attack and fall down
I'm curious why you chose not to mark stuff off. I did this with Enkonomiya coz I really didn't want to go back there lmao, just selected everything and crossed stuff off as I went. Did the same thing with Chenyu vale and got 100 in no time.
Proud of you for sticking to the principles. The Lisa domain is excusable since you were forced to do it to unlock the entire first region. What mattered most is that you did not unlock any other statues of the seven. Overall 10/10

You would just need the Barbatos Ratatouile (which you unlock in that region by talking to an NPC), Amber in the party for the passive, a Northern Smoked Chicken (which you can get from Mika's birthday mail on August 11), and preferably an Anemo ressonance (which you can get by being lucky with an Anemo character from pulls or getting the free Lynette at AR 25).
Of course, it would take absurdly long, but it *is* still possible within the challenge rules, and I personally would not fault someone for skipping skill-less grinding.

That's an Eye of the Storm property. Whenever it's hit while charging either of it's two airborn attacks (the ground slam and the constant damage one), it will instead flop to the ground and get stunned.
But this does not happen with the spinning attack, which it charges at ground level.

Having this be improvised on the spot is so fun and equally aggravating, I love it.
But also you could’ve cut down a lot of time if you grinded the Cryo-Regisvine. Gives more AREXP than Ley Lines and because it’s a boss you get a pretty hefty amount of EXP alone. It’ll take a while but at this point of the game it’s your best method of AR grinding next to using Magic Crystal Ore (the dark blue ore) and spam forging them (they give 10 AREXP per forge and 5 Friendship EXP). Plus Kaeya gets buffed and as of this point of the game you’re pretty limited to just running Melt with Kaeya and Amber.

Answering the question, you wouldn't be ruined if you didn't have all the elements. I've seen a dude walking through the game with the traveler only. And to make it worse, he used ONLY the type of traveller of the region he was in. So for all the monuments and shit he used to take some slimes where they were needed and then swirl whatever element he needed. And if he couldn't do it in the plot related domains he would be looking for glitches to go on.

The only thing im missing in Monstadt is 3% of Starfell Valley. Ive maxed Rep, done all the World Quests, 100% the other areas, and im damn sure ive cleared out the overworld chests in Starfell.

I love this idea for a challenge, and i hate this idea for a new player.. The reason is if you spend too much time exploring you will lose out on a lot of events that comes with new content.. so if you are new i would recommend exploring from A to B on your main quest, but wait with side quests and main exploration until you are done with MSQ simply so you have access to all the primo gems you can.

To get around the quest issues and stuff you could sliiiightly shift the challenge to be that instead of not being able to move on, you just can’t unlock any waypoints in the new area until you get 100% in the previous. Just an idea and I love this concept!’ Great video dude!!

I *pretty much* did this before going to sumeru ( sumeru was out when i started playing)
After inazuma, i knew i had alot of content to catch up on and sumeru was MASSIVE. So i 100% all of inazuma, did pretty much all the quests ( except time locked ones and daily ones). Went back to mondstat, 100 percented it. Did alot of liyue. Did all quests from liyue and mondstat and then entered sumeru for the first time
Im very glad i did that. It allowed me to really savour sumeru
in case you don’t know, when the eye of the storm is up in the sky and shooting around with the rocks (where you have to fly up to not get hit), if you shoot it it will cancel it’s attack and fall down

I'm curious why you chose not to mark stuff off. I did this with Enkonomiya coz I really didn't want to go back there lmao, just selected everything and crossed stuff off as I went. Did the same thing with Chenyu vale and got 100 in no time.
