Prayer for today

Heavenly Father,
As I begin this new week, I give You thanks, remembering 1 Chronicles 16:34, "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." I am grateful for Your goodness and mercy that greet me each day.
Lord, I seek Your forgiveness, as Psalm 51:1 says, "Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love; according to Your great compassion blot out my transgressions." Cleanse my heart and help me begin this week renewed in Your grace.
Guide me, Lord, as Psalm 31:3 reminds me, "For You are my rock and my fortress; for Your name's sake lead and guide me." Direct my steps and help me walk in Your will throughout this week.
I ask for Your protection, trusting in Psalm 91:1, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." Keep me, my family, and loved ones safe under Your care.
This we ask in the mighty name of Jesus,
