We dont know what Anakins full potential was... maybe 10 or 20% stronger than sidious. After the loss of his limbs it becams around 15% less than sidious so that's my guess
@@TTTTCJGKS We do, actually. Lucas, I believe, said that had he reached his full potential, Anakin would have become twice as powerful as the emperor. In regular continuity, he became 80% weaker than him.
Dooku is one of my favorite characters, he's an absolute boss not to mention his light saber is unique being the only saber that weighs only 1 pound, he never had yellow eyes and actually cared for qui gon jinn after his death.
I think he is very underratef. He got weaker over the clond wars. Befire he left thw jedi, yoda even said that dooku was the most powerful jedi aside from him. He was the 3rd most Power force iser in the beginning of the clone wars, with only palpqtine and yoda being stronger than him

I view Dooku as a great character, especially in the pre-TCW era( pre TCW he was a highly functioning sociopath who believes everything he says and is planning to destroy the current society to make a better one. He honestly thought he was a Jedi until his death and that it was the others who were to weak and dogmatic to effect lasting peace. TCW is fine but he’s clearly buying into the sith ideology and is out for personal glory disguised by noble rhetoric. But the both do capture that Dooku was an idealist to the extreme and before his fall to the dark side was only prideful instead of cruel.)

Could you imagine what Dooku would have been like if he had all of his acquired skills and knowledge but was in his prime say 23 or 24 years old? He was already a beast at 83 but if he had his youth back DAMN I'd love to see him go face to face with pretty much anyone.

In the SWU I would say Dooku at his absolute pinnacle prime of his fighting and force abilities would be when he was 50-60 years old and he would have been on the same tier as Yoda, Mace Windu and Sidious.
I didn't realize how complex Jedi martial arts is. It would pretty awesome to have a star wars video game like how the characters were presented in Soul Calibur with an emphasis on Jedi Forms.
I'd love any good Star Wars video game have been waiting years for it, however a Star Wars themed Soul Calibur would be awesome it just would never happen(not mainstream enough...)

I wonder how TCW Season 7 would change this analysis. Maul was using his saberstaff again, and there's him just going absolute bonkers in the hallway and later tearing down hyperdrive generators. Dark Side amp from Order 66 or Filoni's fidgety power scaling for the sake of plot ?
Again Filioni is a hack and now I realize the problems with TCW as a whole since it conflicts with establish material.

It wouldn't since that season isn't canon within Legends. Many fans complain that any of TCW is at all, obvious reasons, but officially s1-6 are.
While I agree with your final verdict, I must note some of your misconceptions.
First off, I disagree with your judgment of Maul's physical capabilities. While he may not be the tank Vader is, he did survive being cut in half, and falling at least 100 meters down. Maul has comparable strength, greater speed and agility, and isn't nearly as reliant on the Force to function in battle.
I believe you underestimate Maul's combat abilities. His defense was as deadly as his offense. His mastery of Niman let him redirect and parry attacks, and his defenses are not nearly as impotent as you say they are. His mastery of Teras Käsi is a great advantage against either Sith, and his use of Juyo is an advantage against Dooku's style's lack of strength. While Dooku would deflect the worst of it, Maul is still a hurricane that can beat down almost any opponent, and I feel you overlooked the threat he poses. Furthermore, I agree with Vader getting the edge as a swordsman, if only barely.
I also feel you undervalued Maul's Force power. He did ragdoll Kenobi many, many times. And he willed himself to keep living after being cut in half, which means that he still has exceptional power in the Dark side. He also wasn't *that* weak defensively, Sidious can ragdoll almost anyone. However, Ventress, Savage, Kenobi or Dooku were never seen throwing Maul around. Maul is capable, at least.
All in all, it's not a bad video by a long shot, but you missed out on quite a few points, and I feel you let up on Maul so that it could be "Dooku vs Darth Vader feat. Darth Maul."

William Henning With significant amounts of Force augmentation, yes. Without Force augmentation, Maul is clearly superior. Most of the time he doesn't even need it.

+Simon Dean There is something people keep forgetting when it comes to that duel. Maul was trying to kill them, the Jedi were not trying to kill him. Remember Mace Windu commanded them to bring Maul back alive to figure out who he was and who his master was. So with them trying to disarm take off his arm would make the fight an uphill battle for the Jedi.
very good video Nova :-). though I must disagree with your assessment on a 2 v 1 against Darth Vader. there are three points to consider, 1) Darth Vader has fought against and defeated both Darth Maul and Count Dooku and is very familiar on how they conduct combat and their fighting techniques. 2) if a 2 v 1 did happen, both Dooku's and Mauls fighting techniques are completely incompatible with one another. Makashi and Juyo don't mix well together and they would simply be getting in each others way when they try to face Vader. 3) finally we have to consider that the two Sith Lords hate each other, even beyond the usual animosity. Count Dooku hates Maul for killing Qui gon Jin, and Maul resent fact that he was replaced by an ex-Jedi of all things. by the time they finally decide to start working together it'll be too late and Darth Vader will have sussed them out and be pressing his advantage. but these are just my thoughts, what do you think?

I think this is the best VS-video you have ever produced. it was well written, the pictures had excellent timing. And it was more than perfectly judged (at least in my opinion).

Couple of things:
1) Every source I have seen has form 7 spelled J-U-Y-O, why are you saying it as though it was J-U-Y-A? Just curious as to your sources for that pronunciation.
2) Lightsaber form 5 is Shien, with Djem So being a variation of such, and Su Djem being a specific disarming maneuver of said variation.
Overall, the video is great, other than the little things I've noticed and I'll be the first to admit that I'm being nit-picky about a fictional work. Keep it up, the videos are entertaining, if nothing else.

While I find that the verdict here is indeed reasonable and well thought out, I would have given Tyrannus the slight edge in force abilities and declared him on par with Vader as a duelist. While it is correct that Vader is extremely adaptable, Tyrannus has the sort of precise offensive that would be able to take total advantage of Vader's suit. As far as force abilities, Tyrannus has a broader skill set (although there is nothing Vader hasn't seen) and has none of the potentially crippling issues Vader has brought upon by his lack of living tissue. As is mentioned, this fight would narrow down to a Tyrannus vs. Vader duel after a brief amount of time. Then, I think it would narrow down to who is able to take advantage of whom first (Vader exploiting Dooku's Makashi and Dooku exploiting the suit) I think that with Tyrannus's refined makashi, he might just have what it takes to hit Vader where it hurts, or sneak in some crippling lightning to get at Vader's suit should he use his tactical mindset to full advantage.
Thing is though is Vader like Dooku has a tough force shield and force barrier so his defensive force powers are not lacking either and both have great feats with tutiminus, telekinesis, and telepathy and as far as lightning goes as powerful as Dookus lightning is it is not Sidious level

But also yoda was pushed far further in combatting Sidious then he was against Dooku, and he left that fight utterly exhausted unlike his duels with Dooku where he was winded sure, but not so drained.
This versus series was better than the episode VII movie, excellent work and worth the wait!
There's no question as to who would win: Vader is the most powerful Sith next to Sidious, and his power is unquestionably capable of annihilating his competition.

12:09 something I love about your comparison to TPM Maul and TCW Maul is that you capture that the main difference was how he applied his skills. Both iterations have the same skill set ( peak bodied athlete, master martial artist, highly intelligent, expert sword fighter, powerful force wielder. ) but it’s how it’s used. And while I fully admit to not being an expert, what research I’ve done into psychology is that after a traumatic event, people’s personalities can go through drastic changes. So Maul essentially got his ass kicked, lived as a half mad beast for ten-twelve years and once he was restored he decided that his original way of thinking backfired. So he focused more on planning, emulates Sidious by being patient and attaining power. While I understand why some people don’t like this development in Maul’s character ( “cough” jensaraii “cough”) i like it because both iterations are total badasses, and more intelligent than people give them credit for. Also, unlike the many other changes TCW made, this one doesn’t really contradict much. ( at least in term of character) because in tie in material before Naboo Maul is still shown as the arrogant and impatient Sith devotee and loyal student of sidious ( if a bit frustrated with his place, like in Legends) so the character is essentially the same before his defeat on Naboo, so you could just split them between the two . ( which the fandom does anyway) anyway Maul is my favorite villain in Star Wars and the only difference between the two versions is that one uses his intellect to win fights at all cost and the other uses his intellect to gain power at all cost. TPM is a strategic operative ( like a navy seal) where TCW is a warlord and power broker. ( something else that occurred to me is that similar to inquisitor Jerrec, Maul is a warlord in an era of schemers.

I feel like Count Dooku is the best 1v1 duelist of the three, based on the information presented. I firmly believe that Vader would not be able to take on Obi Wan and Anakin like Dooku was able to. A>B>C isn't solid reasoning, but it's something to consider.
I agree. The biggest issue with many of these versus fantasy battles is that Dooku is always assessed at his 80 years of age. Take hom at his prime like many of the opponents he has been paired against. Outside of Yoda and perhaps Mace Windu, Dooku just beats them all. His biggest opponent is age, no one can beat age.

This is a very fair and practical assessment for all parties. I personally like both versions of the Maul character ( though I admit that I’d Tpm was a slightly more effective combatant) though I’m curious why it doesn’t make sense that maul chokes Kenobi at 48:06. Kenobi frequently gets hit with force attacks in both legends and canon.
I agree in a all out every person for themselves match Vader would win in this match for he has more powers at his disposal as well as more magnitude and brute force as well as a more refined lightsaber style as well as physical advantages over them both also he is just as tactical as Dooku if not more with the force. But it should be noted that Dooku even before becoming a jedi knight was a master at telekinesis at the age of somewhere around Ten, Eleven, or Twelve. As he won many jedi games involving the force against all opponents except Yoda himself which is a amazing feat in itself one of the challenges he kept winning was the Push Feather Competitions except against Yoda as well as other Force powered games and this was way before he became a Knight Ranked Jedi. I agree that both Tyrannus and Vader also have better feats in term of lightsaber skill Dooku being second after Vader I think Maul is only Second to Vader in terms of physical benefits.

Even if Maul and Dooku were teamed up against Vader, it would still be to no avail. Dooku and Maul despise each other, which would give Vader an additional weapon. They would certainly accomplish what one could not alone, but Vader outclasses even their combined efforts.

I think it would be super interesting to see you use maul as he was at the end of TCW season 7 in a duel. Seeing him slowly creeping back into a sane and mindful mentality definitely changed his style. His retaking of the saberstaff as his primary weapon also makes it super interesting. I think season 7 maul is a very different combatant and stronger force user than season 5 maul.

Great video, but you always exaggerate Dookus weaknesses. Stamina usually is not a problem at all, and strength is somewhat a problem, but he's only ever been overpowered by one person, and Anakin barely did that. Dooku always managed to overcome Anakin's overwhelming strength with skill. He ultimately lost but Palpatine told Dooku to hold back, it was a test for Anakin. Dooku didn't know his master was gonna betray him.
You said fatigue was one of the main reasons Dooku lost, where was this ever said?
Edit: you said Dooku crumbles in head on head engagements? This has never happened. He never crumbled against Yoda, he ran because he knew he couldn't beat him, because it's Yoda ffs. He usually easily beats Anakin and Obi Wan, and he lost to Anakin because Anakins form.
Agree with you totally here, admittedly I’ve always been a Dooku fan boy but Dooku has only ever crumbled against sudden increases in power, Anakin letting loose his rage and Savage doing the same (bs as that is). Other than that Dooku has never struggled against opponents in head to head fights.
I know this video is two years old, but I'm still bewildered by Evan's analysis of Dooku. He is absolutely NOT standard. I don't doubt that Vader could beat him, but it would not be a simple matter, and no one, not even the likes of Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, or Yoda ever knew "exactly" how to take him down. No one simply "handles" Dooku.
Also, in terms of their force abilities, one of Vader's most significant showings in the realms of telekinesis is casually slamming two massive freighters together, yes? One of Dooku's most excellent showings is Off-handedly picking up and throwing a freighter "like a child's toy". I don't believe that the feats of Dooku and Vader suggest the difference in power is overwhelming. I still think that Vader is more powerful than Dooku, but not as terribly outclassed as the video seems to suggest. Dooku is a dire threat to almost anyone and Vader isn't the exception, imo.

Sora Bulq vs Darth Mail would be interesting. Especially if you decide to use both TPM and TCW versions to compare to Bulq. I’d argue that Bulq has more training and developed skill but Maul’s superior tactical skills and calculating approach to combat evens out the gap. Whereas with TCW Maul the match is roughly even in terms of tactics, though Bulq doesn’t have any tricks that Mail hasn’t already faced save Vapeed. In terms of force abilities they are equal in out put but Maul is superior in utilizing his skills in both versions.
Maul would win Bulq was impressive but he was not the form seven user that Windu was yeah.

+TheNuisanceBird honestly not thinking it like abc logic, thinking of it more on facts about dooku and Vader, dooku is definitely a good makashi duelist and I get the feeling that if he was in his physical prime he'd be a more difficult opponent for this battle, but his makashi does have its limits and has difficulties with opponents that could keep up or even out speed dookus makashi, such as yodas Ataru, and would have a strong offense and defense, as seen with vaders Djem so style not only being an offensive form, but also having a good defensive form from Vader refining his Lightsaber style and adding some elements of other forms into his Djem so, such as form three soresu.
You know, now that i think about it, the Zabrak are a lot like the Maori in similarity to culture: highly war-like and intricate tattoos on the face and body.

New fans need to see this. So many people overrate Dooku and underestimate prime Vader.
actually Dooku is very hard to overrate since he is pretty much the perfect duelist even in his old age. His dueling skills are completely uncompromising and grow in sync with his malicious applications of the Force. Vader is identical to Dooku purely in terms of tactics in dueling, but he has youth and cybernetic advantage that allows him to branch out his skills and become more well-rounded than ol' Dooku. And his handicaps forced him to become the most creative and sensitive practitioner of telekinesis that only Grandmaster Luke Skywalker can comfortably outclass him in both creativity and brute strength. I would not say that they underrate Vader, it's that they misunderstood Vader. Vader has extreme finesse but not artfulness like Dooku, he is always in a clumsy stance either attack or defend, not the elaborate but still properly strong and fast moves like Obi-Wan, or the charging bull ferocity of Anakin Skywalker or the perfect balance of speed and grace like Sidious. But that is what makes Vader Vader, and his legacy became the compulsory practice in the New Jedi Order as his son Luke inherits and develops past his feats.

Going into the video I thought for sure that somehow by someway Dooku was gonna pull out the victory by his tactical sensibilities. My heart was rooting for Vader, but my mind said that somehow Dooku would win. Yet everything you say makes sense. It was interesting to have Jensaarai's cameo on the video. I think I have a greater appreciation for Vader's tactical ability as well as the overwhelming boon of his pattern recognition. The video itself kept me intrigued for the full hour.

Dooku could beat Vader, F I G H T M E. Count dooku was insanely adept at dueling and force LIGHTNING. Vader's greatest weakness. We have seen Vader do crazy amazing almost lore breaking things, yet every time palpatine has hit him with force lightning he has crumbled, save for the final time when he died of it. Makashi was a form made for quickly disarming the opponent, and i believe that 6/10 Dooku manages to sustain his stamina long enough to disarm Vader by striking at his suit's weak points and integrating lightning into his attacks, until he can finally unleash a fatal volley when Vader is worn down. Vader was made to kill Jedi, he was NOT meant to pose a threat to a Sith. He was tailor made to be easily defeated with force lightning. Dooku would deduce this immediately. Im stoned and Dooku was grossly underestimated in this video, i just wanted to give Lord Tyrannus the respect he DESERVES!
Dooku's force lighting isn't as strong as plapatine's for 1 and 2 vader mastered all forms and was even stated to have been one of the greatest duelist of his age only being bested by grandmaster luke the same grandmaster luke thst could go toe to toe with plapatine's plus vader can breath without his helmet for a time thanks to the force and have much better durability like when he survived building falling on him or terminal detanators blowing up in his face
@@loafofbread5251 Dooku is indeed greatly powerful and skilled but his force powers with telekinesis, telepathy, force shield, and force barriers are beneath Vaders Dooku has advantage of lightning and tutiminus but his lightning is not Sidious level so it would not effect Vader so much and Vader could use telekinesis on Dooku way before Dooku could use them

This is an interesting analysis Evan. I really feel however you disCount (pun intended) Dooku's force lightning, which I assume Dooku would immediately hit both opponents with force lightning-GAVE OVER
daniel tompkins Starkiller's lightning can destroy (sorry don't know how to spell the right word) and that only stun Vader in a very short amount of time
this triple threat is really unpredictable. it depends on the scenario but most victories is awarded to vader. The fifty to fifty is dooku and the underdog is maul. Vader and dooku are meticulous with their strikes while maul is spastic. Dooku lacks stamina but has finese , Vader is slow but tanky and Maul has aggression and recklessness. if 3 locked in a blade lock, both maul and dooku will identify vader as the most dangerous threat and will use all of their means to defeat him first. a temporary alliance before turning on each other. maul is the easiest to fall due to his form leaves him exposed. dooku is next due to his lack of kinetic energy in his strikes and stamina. only vader can outlast them but if dooku was cunning enough and lets maul and vader to engage each other before electrocuting both foes with high intensity force lightning dooku will win. Maul is highly unlikely to win, he is weak to dooku's fencing style and precise force attacks. he will be crushed by Vader 's power style and overwhelming force attacks. vader 's winning strategy is just strike which one down, the old man or the animal. dooku die first will lighten his weight in force lightning and force attacks. kill maul will leave his lightsaber fight to be more relaxed. it depends who start the fight. it's really perspective.

Great video, Evan, definitely worth the wait! I think you might have overestimated Vader’s endurance a bit, but I don’t think it’s a decisive factor here. I wanted to complement you on your assessment of Darth Maul. YOU NAILED IT BRO! Seriously, I was beginning to think that no one will be able to distinguish Ep. 1 Darth Maul from TCW Darth Maul since many have failed to so thus far. Again … NAILED IT! :) While I agree that Vader is the most probable victor the outcome of this fight isn’t sure at all. I just don’t see this happening without psychological warfare being waged, without temporal alliances being made. Maul’s emotional instability and eagerness to prove himself no lesser than his competition will drive him to put himself between the rock and the hard place (Vader and Dooku) and if he doesn’t fall he will flee and he’ll wait an opportunity to strike like the assassin he is. If that fails he will either seek an alliance with either one of his opponents, most likely Dooku, or he will be the target of a psychological attack vie means of Dun Moch by any one of his opponents, or all of the above. I also recognize the possibility of Vader and Dooku taking the initiative trying to reach out to either one of their opponents to lure them to their side, but the outcome is unpredictable. This will be a war waged on all fronts - martial might, force power, mental and physical endurance and psychological manipulation. You have definitely given us a lot of food for thought.

Ugh, you're absolutely wrong. Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus'es Force Lightning would overwhelm Darth Vader.
Dooku can only shoot out short bursts of lightning. He is not as powerful as Sidious or Starkiller
All I know is Sideous man handled Maul and man handled Dooku,humiliating them.But Sideous never tried that shit with Vader because even after his crippling injuries sideous feared Vader because yes Sideous could kill Vader with lightning but Vader could still kill Sideous before Vader took his last breathe.
Because Vader was still the chosen one and definitely still powerful, though DEFINITELY still a toy for sidious. And plus they were both very old and weak when Vader betrayed Sidious, and that's what it was; an unexpected betrayel while he was distracted. Even then Vader died
Well Vader was at about 80% of Sidious so even though Sideous was more powerful then him. Vader would be no push over for him and could potentially kill him. (Not likely but very possible.)
Crazyscotsman Vadar would be a push over. Sidious specifically designed the suit to hamper Vadar's abilities, as well as making him susceptible to Force Lightning. Sidious could destroy Vadar without even sheathing his lightsaber.

The guy is known as quinlann voss, a Jedi during the clone wars, he was also the master of the Jedi twilek aayla secura, he's supposedly as skilled of a fighter as Obi-wan. As for the creature, no clue, best guess is some form of parasitic creature.

To be fair Maul may be equal or greater then Vader in regards to endurance as he fought a seemingly unending army of droids for weeks. While it is close I agree with your assessment and decision to give Vader the physical edge.
There were many circumstantial factors in regards to Maul's defensive lapses and I believe his overall defenses to be solid enough. In regards to Dooku he has no problem pressing the offensive and working around an opponent's guard though of course as a Makashi expert he rarely faced opponents head on as you say. Darth Maul being far off from Vader and Dooku in terms of skill is incorrect considering the opponents he's faced and beaten. Maul's unpredictability would do well against Vader and his precise and powerful Juyo would do well against Dooku. Dooku is simply the most skilled duelist out of the 3 and while Vader's Djem So and Maul's Juyo should put them on an even playing field I would give Dooku the advantage here given this is an all out fight between the three.
Well at least you admitted to Maul being on a Council member's level of power though he is of course above that by a good margin ( in power if not in knowledge ). Regarding Maul's defenses most of the times they've been broken through its been by far more powerful opponents ( I.E. Sidious ) or in mid combat which many Jedi who have resisted force attacks themselves have also fallen victim to. I was curious why you hadn't brought up Maul's own telepathic defenses though I'll regard this as a detail you didn't think was important enough to mention.
To be fair Anakin has some pretty impressive force feats himself. Also I've been told that the freighter feat is actually just the monologue of an Imperial officer and doesn't actually occur. Not sure about that one though and if you could give me some context for it I'd be grateful. While Dooku's lightning will be useful in this bout Vader can defend against it and I agree with Vader getting the force edge.
All in all I agree with the verdict but only because I believe Maul's Juyo would be more effective against Dooku then Vader and thus serve more as a hindrance to the Count then it would Vader. As always my opinion of a fight purely between Dooku and Vader is that it could go either way due to the various advantages they hold over each other.

Clone Wars Season 7 showed just how much of an absolute telekinetic beast Maul was.
I kinda felt as though that was plot-induced, as we've never seen Maul being THAT powerful anywhere. The corridor slaughter, that I could let it slide, but when he tore two towering hyperdrive generators down, that felt like Filoni was really overdoing it for the sake of drama.
Daniele Mulas just because we had never seen maul use that much power before doesn’t mean he wasn’t capable of doing it, he was never shown in a situation where it was necessary before

Daniele Mulas The hallway scene shouldn’t even be out of the question for his natural capabilities. All he did was rip panels and and throw around clones. That’s not out of the ordinary for most Jedi of that time. The whole hyperdrive thing is something you could complain about (which I’ve seen you do on multiple videos) but it’s still not that insane.
Him dragging down the ship isn’t that big of a deal. A Maul who’s not amped should be able to rip away a shuttle's landing gear. I feel like to say otherwise is to sell him a bit short. Personally, I felt like Ahsoka had way more plot armor induced moments than Maul at all. Heck, she even gets shot over and over and doesn’t die.

What a great video good job mate! ;) I have no doubt about Vader winning the competition. However I must admit that I found your comparizon of Vader's and Dooku's force abilities a bit unfair. I think you focused on describing them being used on several different occasions rather than imagining a situation in which they would be facing each other. Although Vader is of course a natural and very powerful force wielder I believe Dooku's force arsenal puts him on par with Vader; lesser power being compensated by experience, extensive studies of the ancient dark side techniques, lightning skills (dangerous for Vader's electronics if he's caught off balance), subtlety, recourcefulness and very good force defense ;) Let me know what you think provided you have the time. Nevertheless awesome video, keep it up :)
Honestly, Dooku's style of skill and finesse with his enormous evasion ability would mean that he'd be content with letting Maul and Vader, both much more aggressive than himself, to attack each other first, and participating in short bursts during the fight. Maul would fall first, at which point Dooku would have his way with Vader.
Dooku was used to fighting people of the caliber of Anakin and Obi Wan at the same time and always came up on top. He would've won his last duel with Anakin if he hadn't been holding back like Sidious asked him to. Without Palpatine's help, Anakin would've also been unable to capitalize on his rage, so Dooku would've still won that fight if Palpatine hadn't helped Anakin, as the ROTS novelization states. In lightsabers, he could match a less mobile Vader easily, but honestly, Dooku would only need to use his powerful lightning to kill Vader, as he was particularly vulnerable to it.
Machine-man Vader is just particularly ill-equipped to fight someone of Dooku's level of skill and power. Dooku's preferred tactics of subduing strong enemies with lightning would be Vader's undoing.
Tyranus > Vader > Maul.
Yeah, and Vader got badly damage doing so, and was only spared because Bultar Swan (who was the only Master there worth anything) didn't wanted to kill him. Oh and Swan? She was betrayed and killed by another Jedi, so Vader didn't even defeat her.
Vader is vastly overrated on account of him just looking cool. He's powerful, but Dooku could simply fry him with lightning and his life support system would be destroyed, he's vulnerable. Them's the facts, Simple as that.

Vader lost against pretty much anyone worth mentioning he ever fought. He was destroyed by Obi Wan and Luke and only defeated Dooku because he was holding back and Obi Wan threw their last fight. He only defeated no-name Jedi and an untrained Luke. He's not very good, get over it.
Dooku in turn defeated Obi Wan and Anakin numerous times during the Clone Wars, was better with a lightsaber than Mace Windu, and stalemated freakin' Yoda.
Vader can't produce force lightning and gets easily killed by it, Dooku can and uses it every chance he gets. He defeated Anakin with it before.
Anyhow, I'm not expecting to convince Vader fanboys of anything, it's just like trying to argue with a Batman edgelord, there's no point in it.

As I did enjoy this video, what you must do is instead reread the Bane novels. The fact that you think that he only uses a textbook style of Djem So means you obviously didn't pay to much attention to the novels or analyze them deeply enough. You even overlook the fact of how Bane was able to avoid Zannah and stay alive when he himself was unarmed. He was able to not even let one drop of rain touch him in a storm. And those are only two. If you are holding Orbelisk Bane's fighting form to how he was in DOE you need to seriously reevaluate your stance on his technique and abilities.
+ixvari Agreed, Bane's style is actually a complex mix of Djem So, Juyo, and Soresu, based around unpredictability, constantly shifting his tactics and avoiding anything resembling a pattern to disrupt the flow of combat and control the fight, combined with physical strikes and alterations of his inertia and momentum through the force, and uses both overwhelming physical might and prodding with his blade and the force for weaknesses in his opponent's defenses. His fighting style is honestly my favorite of any lightsaber duelist in Star Wars.

Thank you! Someone who understands and pays attention. You can even see him employing such unpredictable maneuvers in POD when he fought Kasiim. It was even stated that his unpredictability and skill had the blademaster in full retreat. Glad at least someone here agrees instead of listening blindly to what was said in the video.
