Marion is such a good husband! Your oil tank paint it with black chalk paint & write all your projects you want to do & decorate the top with fake plants & on bottom buy storage cubbies & use it to store stuff, just a idea.

Me too. My husband is very handy, keeps our house looking great, helps the kids with their houses, neighbors, and now grandkids are starting to get their own places! He is always busy!!

Wow I miss my craft room I moved in a smaller house with no extra room for my craft space I am trying to figure out how I can make a small area to put supplies an table You always do a great job when you redo your home on a budget I love watching this channel and you are awesome

I love your video's on decorating and cooking. My house is 1170 ..no basement here. I live in So.California and I gave up my den & sewing room when my daughter ,two grandson's moved in with me. I was really sad to see you blocked under the stairs off. That could have been really cute and useful shelving and a great space for ribbon rod holders! Everything is looking so good though! Nice job!
First time viewer! This is going to be awesome! You could put some open shelves under the stairs for more storage or to display crafts (close it in and add a door if you just want some "hidden" storage)-- just a thought. As someone who collects craft supplies more than I get to craft, storage is on my mind 🤣

It's so exciting to be starting a new phase in life. I've been working on my own craft room as well. I've taken our small dining room used all old repurposed furniture and painted everything. It's so nice to go "shopping" in my craft room and be inspired to do projects. Your doing a great job, looking forward to see the finished space.

I feel like we live in the same house! LOL! We had one of those weird brick things in our basement too. We found out it was used for an old cistern pump. We were able to remove it (hubs had a friend who is a brick mason). We also had an old oil tank in our basement. Once the oil company disconnected it hubs was able to get it out of the basement.

Just a suggestion, insert drawers under the stairs to make better storage for your crafts. Just started this video. So far it is great looking. Sad you had to cover your daughters leaf wall.

i love the look of the wood stairs, would have painted them white and added maybe a pretty contact paper to them.(not the part you step on,but the inner part,if that makes any sense lol)
