how do you track calories and macros practically, for example I know that carbs are 4kcals per g, fats 9kcal per g etc. but does that mean 100gs of rice is 400kcals and 100g of oats is also 400kcals to etc. how do you figure out what to eat on a day to day basis accurately and practically. I know that there are apps but im not sure how accurate they are and think there must be a much more definitive way of tracking
Light from nature is #1 on the priority list for healthy biology. Food is #5 on the list of importance to health from a mitochondrial perspective, and the mitochondria are 100% reliant on the natural light it gets from the environment. Even food is taken in only as a source of light that must match the light in the environment to be "healthy." So even a banana is unhealthy, even though natural and nutrient dense, if eaten in the dead of winter in someplace like northeast usa. Stop using wireless devices that pollute the light environment, making all food unhealthy not just for yourself, but others. Your responsibility to others supersedes your responsibility to yourself, as you can choose to poison yourself with toxic light, but you are forbidden to do so to another who owns their personal space and body, the body that allows for transmission of spirit (energy). Stop using defense mechanisms of denial, rationalization, blame shift etc. as this is corruption of the soul, narcissism in the world of psychology; the very belief system of the self that is driving the 6th extinction event, largely through the tool of money. Listen to the warnings from Olle Johansson and Martin Pall--preeminent scientists who are alarmed at the infertility rates and DNA damage caused by wireless tech that may not appear to the denying mind now, but eventually will become so evident... unless, of course, you are okay with your body being owned largely by a corporation with patented technology that replaces free nature, such as nanotech and robotics that keep you alive, at a price if you can pay of course based on the narcissistic, distorted perception of value.

To get started, use an app. They do a good job and the margin of error is irrelevant.
