I’m married to a Turk from Izmir for 32 years and almost every year we go to visit his family in Izmir cause we live in Toronto...you must go there its a beautiful city and within an hours drive or so you have Bergama one of the world’s first hospitals.....Kusadesi and Cesme are great for amazing beaches.... and Efes (Ephesians in the Bible) a real amazing city of ancient ruins which you really need a day over there.... love your videos keep them coming!!!!

The snakes you see there are "Natrix tesselata". They are non-venomous and quite calm animals. So you don't need to be afraid of them :)

And yes, there are a lot of bears and wolves in Turkey, especially in eastern and northern Turkey and some leopards but there are very rare. There were even elephants in Anatolia but they went extinct 2000 years ago.

congratulations on another great vid. i am officially your number one fan and cannot wait for your next vid. only shame you post twice a week. as i am impatient for your next video ( wish you can post daily ...ha ha ha ) no seriously maybe every other day. i am glad you enjoyed the views while driving. but you are in for a treat. just you wait until you see the landscape of the black sea coast region. it is so spectacular , the greenery, lakes, waterfalls, the foothills of the tea plantation, bridges,castles , forest , wildlife ..etc etc . like i mentioned to you ,while in the car park in istanbul. turkey has a very diverse and unique landscape, with each region so different to the other regions of turkey.

Hey guys, I'm loving your videos, I've been following you since your carpark lockdown.
I must be honest I hadn't thought of Turkey for a holiday desintation,
but after seeing your vids I'm certainly inspired.
Can I ask how you find the people and speaking English?
I visited Hungry a few years ago and was amazed how many people spoke English there.
I'm way impressed with how friendly the Turkish people seem to be,
and being able to wild camp without hassle
CVD :-)
English is a lesson in all schools here from primary schools .Most turks can speak some english .They like to show Turkish hospitality and believe me they try to help you in anyway .
you don't have to worry about the language barrier in turkey. people will help you no matter what even they don't understand you well they will try their best to help. but you should be able to find someone easily who speaks very well English in tourist spots.

Having now watched several episodes, I've unsubscribed from the other British "middle age" vanlife channels as you've raised the bar and I no longer enjoy watching campervan owners meeting up with their buddies, talking b@#@ks and filming themselves throwing a ball for their dog. Long may you channel continue. My wife and I have built our own campervan, whether we have the courage to do anything as adventurous as yourselves has yet to be seen. One thing is for sure, we won't be videoing our travels, that looks like a lot of hard work. Love the stuff on the local food and how you engage with the locals.
