    I have this, it carries my T396 perfectly!

    I use this case for my tenor and plan to for bass. I did notice that the cut out for the slide fits in perfectly going in the opposite direction with the slide tendon going near the bell flare, the side pocket also fits a trombone stand at an angle perfectly with plenary of room

    Have taken a look at the Protec Max cases? It looks just like the ProPac but weighs substantially less! It also has backpack straps built in. Perfect for young students. I'm using one for my bass bone and it is sooo much easier to carry. The only con to the case is that it is not soft and cushy inside. Also, thanks for all these great videos you do. Wonderful stuff!

      Thanks for watching! I have actually been meaning to do a video about the Max cases as well; I have really liked their tenor cases for a number of years and their bass case was a nice addition to this line. I will have to make sure I get a video done on it; thanks for sharing!

    Which case would you say has more interior storage? IPAC or ProPac?

    What are the advantages and disadvantages compared to the ProPac?

    Would this fit a more compactly wrapped bass trombone like a King Duo Gravis with a modified split D trigger?

      I know this is an old comment, but I'm looking for a new case for my Duo Gravis right now (which is why I'm watching this) and was wondering the same thing. Did you ever figure out if it works for a DG? Or do I need to buy the iPAC Bass case?

      @@BriandeMSU the bass case is needed. I tried the tenor case at a local shop and it did not fit.

    I have the pro-tec platinum! Much better storage room.

      I love the Platinum cases as well! I think value-for-price they are one of the best gig bags available; very well thought out, nicely protective for a gig bag and, as you said, a ton of storage room!

    Is this case waterproof?

    • @SchmittMusicTromboneShop
      @SchmittMusicTromboneShop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The cordura-style 1680 ballistic nylon that Protec uses is water resistant to an extent but I wouldn't consider it fully waterproof; Protec used to sell a waterproof cover for these cases but I am not sure if they are still available...
