Hey, this was an amazing review and told me LITERALLY everything i need to know. And looking at these updated models (with the buckle on the bell section), this case is a great deal for the price. Can I ask what trombone stand, and travel music stand you had in your side pouch at 4:23 ? I don't think my trombone stand would fit and I'm looking for a good travel stand and would rather get one that fit in my case. 凸
Thanks for the kind words! The trombone stand is from K&M, I believe the 14985. It's heavy but sturdy and collapses down well. The music stand is something generic off of Amazon, I believe.
@@Slidefunk I appreciate it! Do you have experience with the Protec MAX for tenor trombone? It seems to be a lot cheaper at the expense of less padding. But it includes a music folder pocket and I believe is a little smaller. I’m heading into the college soon and am just trying to get the best deal for my money.
@@tonyandrade1731 I've seen a few of them at music stores. They are certainly lighter weight than the Pro Pac, being made from a foam shell. They also lack the inner flap covering the slide. If you are just going to be carrying the horn around campus it would be a great light weight alternative. If you have to fly home from school with the horn a few times a year, the Pro Pac is the way to go..
@@Slidefunk Good thing for me… I’m staying in state lol. Although, when you’re making a purchase that determines the safety of your horn, you never can be too safe. I’ll think I’ll end up with the Pro Pac. Thank you again for your help!!
It is a case that I would have to keep my trombone at home, worse I wouldn't use it daily and neither would I use it to travel, it's too big and heavy, the canvas cloth that coats the case is damaged by use in a short time, the Back Straps move too much by holding it to the case, they have to reduce the space where the tip of the Hand Slide goes because it gets very wide and uncomfortable that case, very nice if, but very bulky and heavy, I don't recommend it, it's better the Max series that is lighter and more compact as well as being cheaper. $$$$
You could try putting metal button snaps on the plaves ohtside the case where the velcro has failed you. Might be a good idea.

Is it compatible with a valve trombone?
I haven't tried one myself. If I were to hazard a guess, I think the valve block on a valve trombone slide would be a bit too bulky for this case.
