@@Zeforas u knoo... i had only melee on (50kpoins) and defense on (90k) and like sourlcery/agility/range on (15-23k) and ive beaten the last boss with starter equipent and no rings :P also without a companion or a pet its not hard :P i only used 1 heal potion (EDIT: i know 1 year ago)

That character probably has more than twice my stats in my first casual playthrough. I did that boss with 2.5m hp and mid 150s level and standard weapons.
once you get soulmaster in all your stats, you dont need to train anymore. even with the starter gear, its fully possible. i'd recommend using the staff though, since it scales best with shitty equipment. you're going to want the turtle ring and whatever ring reduces the dodge cooldown is called. definitely elynes ring. your choice between the masters ring and the one that increases soulcery damage, i havent figured out which one is better. (keep in mind you only really need the rings if you stopped training the moment you get to soulmaster rank, this person went in with much higher stats) the 1st phase is the difficult part. dodge the slaps, parry the fireball. (you dont take any damage if you parry projectiles.) remember that none of your physical attacks are going to do basically anything at all. you can use the bow to stall for time to get blocks and dodges back, because you WILL run out. if you run out of blocks and dodges, use the shield skill, and heal when you're done facetanking. or just use the green potion. for phase 2, its simple. you can use either dodge or block depending on which one you have more charges on. (or you can tank it if you have enough health) parry the big fireball. perfect dodge the flamethrower. you can last indefinitely in this phase.
Honestly it is the better option because soulcery damage doesn't scale with weapons other than the staffs, which no matter what staff you use will always double the soulcery damage.
@@Zeforas also, with strategic use of the green potion (and some arrow and the cooldown and chanse rings+ luck) i could chain up to 10 poison dealing like a mil damage per round, but to stack that i would need one bow shot every round, the soloution to this is streching the rounds out as long as possible by blockspamming making the opponent spend like 1 more second to try to hit me. that was wayyy too long, and badly explained. i also have another save that i call "to the teeth" cause i have gold or platinum in all skills and i just started the tree part

You can cheese this challenge with staffs because even the base one doubles soulcery damage

i think staff is better because u can deal insane soulcery damage with it.

you need the block level 3 skill deflective
There's an ability in the skill tree that if you block a projectile perfectly you can reflect it and take no damage.
