This platinum was pretty easy. Having other players structures was a big big big help getting this platinum. I really enjoyed that feature. You can use other players structures or you can just ignore them and play the way you want. This game is underrated
You convinced me not only to return to this game and finish the story after I abandoned it in 2019, but also go for the platinum. Just got it yesterday after 78 hours!
So, I'm at 74% and I'm regretting a lot that I started trying to earn the platinum trophy, and watching this video I'm sure it will take me a lifetime 😭

Thanks for not going too much into spoilers. This will be the first game I platinum after Final Fantasy 7 remake part two comes out later this month. Returnal, is a super fun game. The trophy grind was not as long and frustrating as the guide made it out to be… I think the devs patched in missing ciphers to show up more often.

The platinum was a grind, but I did the legend of legend at the same time as the 5 stars because it actually gives you more likes when you play on higher difficulty.

I remember when this game was announced and no one knew what it was gonna be about. I expected a really weird, almost alien like game. And then the game came out and it turned out to literally, unironically be "Make America Great Again", the game
I recently start playing ghost recon breakpoint. The game is ok but i always thought that even tho you are a soldier with skills, guns and friends to help you, the game is barebones as it can be when it comes to how do you approach problems as although you have many tools, they dont have a cohesive idea on how to make the most out of them. Death stranding is a simple game, as you mentioned, on its cores idea (bring item from point a to point b) the number of mechanics and tools with different types of approaches on how you do stuff is pretty unmatched in any game. Im a big fan of emergent gameplay, which is basically a sandbox, and kojima is truly an expert on creating a game that avoid repeating the same action over and over and keep the player thinking on how to approach problems in a fun way
@rafindeed Yeah, I still wanna finish Death Stranding. I'm about a quarter of the way through. But then I made the mistake of downloading a "Like a Dragon" game called "Lost Judgment" and accidentally got addicted to the whole franchise and have been trying to play through all of them as fast as possible. As a result, the backlog of games I wanted to play that I was so close to finishing has grown dramatically. Death Stranding was one of the last games in my backlog after I stopped gaming for years, and I was finally playing a ton of games I've always wanted to play. Now that I'm distracted with "Like a Dragon" I have tons more games on my backlog. I still wanna finish Death Stranding, StellarBlade, BloodBorne, Elden Ring, God of War and God of War Ragnorok, SpiderMan Miles Moralis (don't know why I wanna play that game but I do for some reason that I can't remember), Persona 5, and those are only the games I can remember off the top of my head. I'm just super addicted to the Yakuza games right now. I'm 75% done with Yakuza 3 and after that I still have 4 more Like a Dragon games, not counting Dead Souls. Oh and I REALLY wanna finish Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and the original Final Fantasy 7. Can't believe I forgot those two
To me this game never appealed to a " must play" it was wacky at release and is still something vastly different to the Metal Gear I know from Kojima. But I recently learned that there is a PC version for this, no longer PS exclusive. And somehow enough people bought this to require a sequel thats in the making?
The story is amazing and the combat is no joke. Preparing your deliveries and setting them aside when expecting a fight can save you ratings status. The game starts off real slow but it picks up around chapter 2.5. 1st chapter is just getting your bearings after that the game really opens ups once you get the motorcycle, then you get guns in chapter 3 as well as trucks highways, assistant robots and plenty of other equipment to make it less of chore. Everything is up to the player and how you navigate your objectives there is no one way to play l. Unlike this guy I don’t allow other players structures in my game in order to make it less cluttered and more difficult l. There’s tons of story, Easter eggs for other game franchises

I got so many trophies and I don’t care about trophies because no one does it’s not like achievements. However I got 46 trophies because I played this soooo much. I have 5 stars on almost every location I think if I go for all the trophies I only got 10-20 hours of gameplay left if that much.

The gameplay is so much better when you get vehicles and equipment like cyber legs that help you run faster or carry more weight from packages it basically becomes cyberpunk 2077 you just can’t kill unless you wanna make the game harder for yourself

There is combat. With guns. Also with cqc. And grenades. And there is stealth. Oh and a fantastic story. Interesting characters. There is exploration and it’s kind of a unique game. Much more to it than just walking really.

Zip lines really help. I’m also going for the platinum and got 24 premium deliveries done in an hour or two.

You can't underestimate the appeal of Simulation Games from us PC players, its also why Eurotruck sim and the like are popular.
