I am a 21, I am not a mom, I am just a student, nowhere close to starting a family, but just watched the whole video to feel your vibe. Malz, you'r growing up into a graceful classy woman. I am just getting inspired looking at you, fight your battles so gracefully.
Hi mals, few suggestions from a new mom, tape diapers are much better than nappy pants, these are very messy to use especially for newborn. Carry nappy change sheets, u don’t want to create a mess while changing. Also, babies don’t need a lotion until one month of their age, they are not dry, that’s just a protection layer coming off which they need inside the womb to avoid extra hydration from amniotic fluid.
Hi! I'm a mom of 2, had both babies in the last 3 years, just wanted to say that please don't use rash cream regularly, use it only when the baby has a rash. For every diaper change you must use cold pressed coconut oil, learnt from experience, just sharing it with you.
Hi Malvika! I’m a mother to a 7 mo. I used cotton balls and warm water to clean my baby’s bottom all the time at least till she was 3 mo. Safer than wet wipes any day. Hope this helps. 😊
For massage pure almond oil is best!! Don’t need to go for any brands 😊 Also a dry sheet would be best to place under the sheet or blanket of the baby as it helps for any leakage during nights
Diaper- carry 1 packet of 50 pieces. Wipes- 3-4 packs Onesies- please carry more. Just 5 is not enough. In India I don’t think hospital provides diapers or any baby products. Mom of 2 and had to carry everything.
I'm not mom but i think u can carry an empty paper folder.....cuz uk the hospital is going to give u sheet loads of papers...and i don't think u will not be having time to sit and go through every single document....so all u can do is just collect all these papers and store them in folder and when u are recovered go through. This will help u not miss placing any documents of the baby and you Hope that helped❤❤
I am a mom of 15 months old and I found out that pampers pure protection is the best diaper for new born. Otherwise babies are very prone to rashes and once caught it would be difficult to use diaper for few days. So I would suggest pampers pure protection .
I am not a mother but I think you can add 1 more thing to your bag which is a Dry sheet. So when a baby poops or pees, when it is on the bed, the bedsheet does not get dirty or it does not seep in. So a dry sheet is like a soft surface on one side and a silicone/rubber material on the back side. This will surely save some energy! Also, mittens are a must. I think babies scratch their face or body accidentally. You are going to be a great mom, very strong and mature. The baby is going to be proud of you eventually! Go woman! 💪❤
Hi Malvika! I m a new mummy to a 2 and half month old baby , and I can share few suggestions as per my experience - taped diapers are better for new born than the pant style ones . Pampers active new born is the best - I’m also using the mother Sparsh wipes and it’s the best ! - nipple shield also come in handy - burp clothes are really not of any use I wasted my money - do carry breast pads with you I swear they are the most used item for me also , disposable period panties from amazon From one new mum to another Xoxo ❤
try tape style diapers it’s easy to change, and doctors generally do not recommend powders for babies, include a dry sheet to change diapers.. for 2 to 3 days 1 pack of wipes would be enough
Mamaearth is not at all safe for adults only. I would highly recommend to not use their products on at least baby! I have read that they are using very harmful chemicals.
It’s really amazing to see you growing into a mama.. lots of love. Few tips for a new mommy which I wish I was told or aware of, 1) Muslin swaddles are amazing and you can have loads of it. 2) for diapers it’s best to have tape diapers than diaper pants as diaper pants can be used once baby is 3+ months as babies are stronger. And tape diaper is easy to change. 3) pacifiers you can have soothers of Philips avent as well because they have the shape of a bottle’s nipple and a mother’s nipple as well. 4) don’t overload on clothes for newborn size as they just outgrow in blink of an eye and you won’t be able to use them. 5) best clothes for babies is to have sleep suits (as u mentioned covering the foot). 6) zip onesies are really difficult because one leg of the baby would be stuck in one side and the baby will cry even bad while changing. It’s best to get button onesies. Always get clothes which have middle opening than one side closing. 7) socks and mittens have tons of them as u would need them a lot. 8) babies don’t need lotions till 1month almost as they shed the skin from all over the body and head too (cradle cap) and it’s advisable to avoid any lotions that time. The oil u should use is coconut oil/virgin coconut oil. 9) have mamaearth tummy roll on, in case baby becomes colic. It works amazing to soothe the baby. 10) try to get the fisher price soothing toys which play soothing music for babies while they are in stroller or u take baby out for checkup and all. Or u can check Mothercare stroller toys as well. They are amazing. 11) do get an electric baby rocking swing, that helps u a lot as it will soothe the baby and baby will go to sleep when u put them thr and u don’t have to keep rocking them. I know u might feel oh no I will hold my baby, but gurl trust me, Kamar Akad jaegi. That saved me a lot but I got it when my baby was 1.5months old already still it was a saver that time. Rest u can decide and get depending on the need of the baby as every baby is different. All the best. Take lots of rest and care of yourself. If you are well rested and taken care off then you can take care of the baby as well. Lots of love to gorgeous mommy… 😇
Sebamed and aquaphor were my go to brands for my kids…. Would however suggest u wash all new clothes min 2/3 times with dettol before you use it on the baby!! Diapers and wipes are never ending quantities u would need for initial 3 mnths!! 😅 Wish you the very best for your new journey…. It’s gonna be something u will treasure for ur life ❤
I am a mother of a 1 and half year old and I've been using the entire sebamed range like bodywash, powder, rash cream, face cream body lotion and massage oil, on my child since she is born. The products are superb. I love the range and I know it has fragrance but it has the most beautiful fragrance. Love it.
Good luck,I hope you have an easy and safe delivery.Honestly as a mum to a 7yr old boy,I had a vaginal delivery and it was super easy,Breastfeeding was the hard part.I would suggest some of these:- 1.Breastfeeding support for Indian moms -a fb support group for new mums was my bible.Great information and support 2.light foldable diaper sheet(waterproof)to carry in the diaper bag. Also order mattress protectors and a dry sheet to protect mattress from any “accidents” 3.Please skip on powder for the baby-they are all so finely milled.Used initially and stopped completely once I read up about the harms of it 4.would suggest you wash everything and keep them in the bag,new stuff can get itchy 5.Cold pressed coconut oil worked the best for my son 6.initial few days I used cotton dipped in warm water to wash babies bum, after that used to carry him to the sink to wash.Wipes only when I didn’t have access to a sink.He never got a diaper rash-I used diapers throughout never cloth
Hi malvika some parents like taped diapers coz they r little less messier wen changing poop diapers and while applying rash creams. Also they have better fitting, so in case u wanna try those opt for pampers NB size…just a suggestion
First time mom here with a 3 month old. My picks - 1. Dry sheets and cotton sheets together for the baby to sleep on 2. Cotton langots (nappies) for day time 3. Rai pillow 4. AC blanket 5. Sebamed face cream 6. Sebamed body wash 7. Almond oil/ olive oil for massage 8. Coconut oil for hair 9. Chicco comb 10. Baby bather 11. Sterilizer Philips 12. Dr brown bottles 13. Pampers premium pant style diapers. (For newborn use tape style) 14. Towel/cotton hanky/ cloth dor cleaning 15. Himalaya wipes 16. Chicco powder with puff 17. Philips avent pacifier 18. Luvlap nipple shields 19. Nipple butter (mother sparsh) 20. Vicks babyrub 21. A rattle 22. Mittens and socks for newborn 23.
I am not a mom but i have seen new mom's and babies in home. So i just want to share their experiences. Its good that you are stuffed with baby products but don't use them immediately. Let the baby get a bit older and then you can use these products. At the initial stage doctors suggest products for babies and one should use that only. As we get confused between which brand to use and it might harm babies skin as they are sensitive. Also, aveeno sedbamed mothersparsh are good brands to use, since take the doctors suggestions
I found it useful to have some baby nail clippers. LOs can have sharp nails and in my personal experience my baby didn’t prefer mittens as he used his hands to soothe to sleep and also during feeding. Also, if the hospital doesn’t provide wipes, I would suggest taking another pack (3 in total) as meconium (first poop) can be really sticky and can be passed in parts for the first few days. Also it may be a good idea to keep a baby thermometer and bulk syringe handy. Good luck with everything, you’ll do great 😊
Try to use taped diaper for new born till 3 months after that you can switch pant style diaper, because new born babies poop every each feeding taped diapers are very convenient for that time and baby don't get hurt too much just ah suggestion from my experience , imagine removing 8 - 9 times a day pant style or just lift the legs and clean the poop and set the new diaper it's easy ☺️
I would personally suggest buying the taped diapers…they are much more easier in cleaning the poop as well as less messier..also u can adjust the fit..personally i wudnt reccommend pants fr a newborn..pampers new born diapers are the best option…huggies leak alot..jus a suggestion through experience
I think bringing a sterlized feeding bottle to hospital is good idea if in case you had c section. Although you will get at hospital pharmacy but it won't be sterlized
Cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed sweet almond oil and cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil for massage...pampers tape style and r for rabbit diapers are the best at least 20!diapers you should keep, get a dry sheet that is a must, get waterproof langots as well for changing diapers, mittens are a must sometimes babies have big nails and they can get hurt...caps, a lot other things are also required after coming back to home that you can get later like nail grooming kit, pillow for baby etc
Also, a feeding pillow is recommended to be carried to the hospital. It helps to ensure a good posture to help baby latch and also for you to avoid back pain.
Do buy vest ( banian) for the babyy ! As you don’t want the zip of the onesie directly touching the baby skin it might bhi lil harsh or something! Else also VEST is imp
Carry a nipple butter mals. Also the Huggies premium are not the best they look cute but they leak. Normal Huggies is really good. Tried and tested. All the best for the new motherhood 🎉
Do buy daipers with weight upto 3 kg Daipers of XS size ( for upto 5kg) do not usually work for newborns first 1.5 month you will definitely need very smallll daipers!
❤️❤️❤️ from a first time mom to oct 2022 born a few suggestions Diaper cream-b4nappi from firstcry Baby soap- tedibar soap for babies Shampoo- spoo shampoo If ur baby has dry skin cetaphil baby lotion is the best of the lot !
If u r ok having castor oil in milk have that.. it will induce labor pains within 5-6 hours.. have something sweet immediately after that to change the taste of castor oil
Hi Mals, things you need to add on ( recommendations from a mom of 10 months old baby girl) 1. Cotton blanket as hospitals have ACs 2. Mustard seeds pillow, lot of good options are there on first cry and Amazon 3. Please take taped diapers, pampers are preferred ( carry about 20 of them) 4. One pack of mother Sparsh wipes will be more then enough for you 5. Mittens
Being a first time mom to a oct born….. I would say use coconut oil instead of any massage oil! ; I have been using sebamed massage oil too but I found out coconut oil makes babies body soft! ❤️❤️❤️ to u and babes
Hii Aveeno products are great. For baby massage please use normal dabur almond oil for all seasons or a coconut oil in summer. I never used a powder on my baby she's 2now. And Aquaphor is the best for rash no need of any powder just tap the area of any remaining moisture with a facial tissue as they are soft and then the diaper. Carry alot of diapers and do buy taped diaper as for initial day when the umbilical cord hasn't fallen it'll be good. You wont need much wet wipes so only 1packet is enough. And do get a dry sheet. All the best dear ❤️
As a mom I've never used any rash cream for my baby. Coconut oil always worked wonders. It just miraculously healed rashes and cuts overnight. My baby is 2 years old now and I am still using the same
Baby nailcutter would also be helpful, my son scratched himself really bad right after coming out. And the mark is now so deep that it is going to stay forever. And May be some cotton balls.
Buy swaddles which are big in size. Small ones don’t fit well when the hospital staff swaddles the baby. Taped diapers for the first month are the best. Because its easy to clean. Babies poop a-lot in the first month. Wash all the new clothes before using them. Best is if washed twice soo that they are softer on the babies skin. Carry tie up caps for the baby because hospital AC can make your baby cold. Baby’s head should be covered for the first few weeks.
For massage try the virgin coconut oil by parachute…its amazing..no rashes or bumps watsoever…my child ws allergic to most oils eventually this one suitd him!! Best for sensitive skin!
Use figaro olive oil for baby massage , and cetaphil baby moisturiser and baby wash , don’t use any powders on face coz of future infections because they put there hands in mouth , I used these products for my twin babies .
Hi Mals, I just had my second baby. During both my kids, my doc suggested not to use olive or mustard oil on baby for first few months. So just a suggestion to avoid using both these oils. Coconut oil and desi ghee popularly used. Also, one pack of Mothersparsh wipe is enough however, you may carry 2 to be on a safer side. And as suggested by others, a dry sheet for changing baby’s diaper is a must.
Loved watching this :) I have a 3 month old now, and have to say got all of these and more, but very few being used for what it is 😂 Bibs being used as burp cloth, burp cloth for bathing, swaddles as towel (he hated being swaddled), and the real towel is sitting in the closet because its too big 🤦🏾 All the best for ur delivery, waiting for ur upcoming mommy videos ❤️
Hey, i hope you have washed all the new clothes with fragrance free detergents. I saw the socks n all are still having tags intact, please ensure to wash all the new clothes. Sometimes clothes can cause rashes on babies.
Will recommend you the dry sheets..or quick dry and runber sheets ..useful while massaging baby also while changing baby.. In terms of lotion and shower jel i think seba med is the best..moms co naturals is also fine
1. get a dry mat too for the baby (u have to place it under the baby while changing the diaper) 2. also baby diaper are supposed to be changed in 3-4 hours so pack accordingly for 2 days and 1 pack of wipes is more than enough. 3. also i feel pampers premium diaper pants for better for new borns... 4. get small nail cutters too and a little hair comb too 5. also for the face get sebamed facial cream for baby ... lotion may cause rash on face (what did on mine) 6. also i feel babis should wear cotton sandos underneath the onesie as anyways baby will bw under AC ... might get cold... also it is better to add a layer so that the zippers are not in contact with skin. LOVE YOU! AND I HOPE EVERYTHING GOES WELL! LOTS OF LOVE!
Hi Malz.. few recommendations from a 4 year old girls mommy...It's relatable cuz my daughter has extremely sensitive skin and we try to search and try the best products for baby skin...I miss few of these Indian brands which I don't get in UK.. Moisturiser - cetaphil Diaper rash- pls use coconut oil( most natural remedy and it works) Massage oil- virgin coconut oil in summer and almond oil in winters Body wash- seba med /cetaphil
Hi Mals few suggestions from a professional medical working in Neonatology with babies for many years.. just want u to know that babies wont appreciate pacifier very much n this can also create gas in their stomach.. Babies never over do nipple sucking until they are full.. so dont worry abt that! Also carry dignity sheets for changing diapers N body oil is good for massage but don’t use lotions or anything like that! May God bless u n ur child as u enter new era of ur journey! 🎉🥳
Hey mals first of all congratulations for ur pregnancy and all the best for ur delivery I have 3 months old baby girl and I am a first time mom from England I just want to share my own experience with u about my delivery I was 41 weeks pregnant and my baby wasn’t coming out 😂 I went for induction and my baby heart beat was dropped doctors suggested for emergency c section ( which I wasn’t ready ) Throughout my pregnancy I was doing yoga / meditation / positive every thing was good but this last minute thing was little scary Moving forward I just want to tell u be ready for anything happening in the hospital and delivery And one thing I have really struggled after my delivery was moving out and holding baby Initial few days were really hard in terms of feeding When baby is crying and u don’t understand how to feed 😢 No matter how much u feeding them sometimes they just feel hungry after one hour And after c section sitting on bed for so long and feeding the baby and not sleeping is another level feeling But I am sending lot of positivity to u and ur baby We know u are so strong and u will be fine We are just waiting for the good news 😊 Love u 🥰
Changing mats, dry sheets, wrap swaddles with velcro(ready to go), cloth nappies(u need to keep a count of their pee n poop for first few weeks), breast pump(jus in case of engorgement) Also, wud prefer pampers over any brand any day.. huggies jus leaks, doesnt hold the runny poo of the newborn phase
Fridababy NoseFrida and MediFrida accu-dose pacifier 🙌 And it is a good idea to wash all baby clothes/ sanitise pacifiers (before first use) and all for the first few months.
Wash every clothes that you use for clothes. As long ur in hospital you don't need so many clothes..Diaper rash cream, take Aveno oatmeal cream..and baby oil, baby shower gel , nail clippers
Good stuff! Just a few recommendations (coming from a new mama who delivered in December last year) - those Huggies are the worst, go for pampers and the tape style ones. Pants are more for older babes. Also, keep 2 of those mother sparsh wipe packs, likely u will only need one and may be not all of it, but good to have a back up just in case. Additionally, I loved your skincare recos for babies, will be stocking up the sebamed range for sure only coz of the 'parfum' 😂
Yeah Huggies are the worst! I still have some of them don’t know what to do! Yeah pampers taped! But my friends suggested Himalaya diapers saying they are soft on the body too
I'm newmother of 3 months old please use babyforest brand lotion ,bodywash and wipes everything even feeding bottle also...b4 nappi cream and baby cloth detergent also required...
Hey Mals! Cant wait to see your baby! I’m a new mom and had my baby girl in Jan. Just a personal advice, do buy a tummy roll on from Mother’s Sparsh cause baby colic is 🤯🤯. It’s really helpful. Also buy pampers XS taped diapers. They have a yellow line which turns blue when the baby pee’s and it helps you judge whether it’s full, so you can change the diaper. Huggies diapers leak a lot, from my personal experience. Do let us know if it worked for you. All the best for your pregnancy! Sending positive vibes only. 😇💐
Hi Mals, you can use organic coconut oil or almond oil for baby's massage. Do not use fancy massage oils for babies that are packed with toxic ingredients.
Hellooo! My baby is turning 1 year in june and your video too me back to when i was going to the hospital! Okay so you do need alot more diapers! Newborn babies need diaper change atleast 4-6 times a day cos initially all the babies poop that much, after 6 weeks they would poop once or twice a day.
You are absolutely right… my baby is 2 years old, i give my baby pacifier and she is not at all used to it.. its fine to give them. I used cetaphil baby products and i love them.. but from 1 year I have been using aveeno..
I use the same bag, its such a good looking bag.. I always wanted something classy and not a printed baby bag... this one has all the necessary compartments and looks so classy.. it matches well with my mk matt black bag..love it..just love it.
Such a beautiful video as always. Just a tiny suggestion, please wash any cloth/napkin that you use for the baby as you don’t know where it was stored in the warehouses before coming to you. Also sterilize all pacifiers before giving them to the baby. I had kept a few bottles & top feed. I know that top feed is not recommended but I had very low milk supply the first 2 days; the top feed was a savior for my baby.
Buy mother Sparsh tummy roll on as well, as the babies are really gassy for the first few months …collicaide (fennel water) is a must have gas medicine ..it’s basically fennel water to help babies with gastric issue
Hey Mals ,you dont need a powder for baby please do research on this one... it can be inhaled by them n can cause lung injury... Another fellow new Mommy this side.❤️❤️❤️ btw all the best for your motherhood journey lots of love to baby n mamma!
Hey, carry 3-4 change per day, 4-5 diaper to be on safe side per day (pls pls try bambo nature), 1 packet of wipes, blanket, swaddles, bedsheet, mittens, cap (hospital keeps the baby in a cradle next to you) .. for you, you might just need something to change and come back home, lip balm (don’t forget) and makeup. Pads etc they would give. See if you need the tummy support belt.
I have put down a bunch of comments in the flow of the video.sorry but I couldn’t control! Hahaha! Its Mal’s beige baby! Cannot wait! What a sassy baby this is going to be to the best and strongest mom there is!
Heyy.. first up congratulations!! Also I have a 3 month old, and some suggestions - 1. Tape diapers don’t work on new born babies. They have poop blowouts. So pampers/ mamy taped diapers are a good option. 2. You should carry your breast pump and atleast 1 feeding bottle because you don’t know what things might look like. Some girls get a late supply especially after a C section. 3. Carry some thin cotton vests as the zips might irritate the skin 4. Please wash all these clothes before packing. They become softer for baby skin and they’re cleaner of course. 5. You don’t need any of the lotions or soaps in your bag ( would only require these once you’re back) because you can’t bathe a baby till their umbilical cord falls off. All the best once again. You’re gonna be a great mom ❤
Mals, I live in Canada and here they don’t really recommend talcs…. And moreover the diaper is good but don’t buy that panty ones just with the tape are good and try “pampers premium” 🙂✨ And aveeno is best for little ones 🫶🏻 Massage oil - virgin coconut oil is the bessssssst 😃
Do try the sebamed and cetaphil range of moisturisers and baby shower gel, never have any reaction and is incredibly moisturising. Aveeno has been incredibly disappointing for me always
Hey Mals! I suggest that you take the other kind of diaper( tape one) instead of these diapers. Recently my sister-in-law had a bby, the nurse said these kind of diapers (the one u showed) give problem with the umbilical cord clip that the baby initially has. Just a suggestion. I am no expert.
I used for our baby -johnson powder bodywash, mamaearth body lotion ..and also Himalayas products And for massage ..figaro olive oil is best among all & One packet of wipes is more than sufficient for 2 days of hospital ( use as much of water than wipes ) Jitna chemical se door rkho babies ko utna bdiya ❤️ All the best
I’m a first time mom too and my baby is 5 months old. I have some suggestions… don’t buy too many xs nappies cuz they grow out too quickly , trust me. Sticky tape nappies are much better than pants I think. For massaging I used extra virgin coconut oil and for bathing Cetaphil bath and lotion. I think Aveeno is owned by Johnson and Johnson brand(controversial). Try to buy pacifiers with cap so that u don’t have to sanitise all the time. Also buy a steriliser (microwave) if u hv intentions to bottle feed or pump. I live in Australia and hospital do not recommend baby powders.
Malvika respectfully colours in a babies life at this stage is important for their mind development. Ik I understand that you like beige. But the baby isn't you. It is going to be a separate person
No no don't tell her anything. She can't take good suggestions. She will put up your comments story on insta and hate on you. She is not capable of putting any sensible things in her brain that people tell her.
True for the very first few months they can only see white and black, but later on adding colors makes a lot more sense, you would see all the toys for baby are colorful fr a reason! Of course adding beige in the wardrobe here n there doesn’t hurt, but do include colors! Mom of 6 month old ! And taped diapers are must to avoid all the mess! Don’t know much brands here but if you can get the kirkland/millieboon diapers from US if you have any fren who can courier
@@sharvarii2276 yeah just saw it and realised I was genuinely trying to a heartfelt suggestion but nope I guess also unsubscribed 😅 and my comment notifications are off anyways so I won't care anymore but thanks for looking out.❤
Wow man I am truly hurt just saw her response on Instagram and as a subscriber who has followed you from your mascara video I am finally unsubscribing today. I thought people were getting you wrong malvika. I just commented was giving a suggestion which is true at some points , I was respectful and genuinely caring for you. I wasn't anyhow dictating you how to raise your baby or tell you how you could do it better , every mom has their own way and I understand that, I am not against beige I even said malvika we understand that you like beige. Even I do. I love neutrals but if anyone doesn't I don't call them hater. People don't use emojis after every two words.Seems like you yourself are the same place now , a place of hate that you were calling your followers a. Few years back. What lord gave hath lord taken away. Remember it malvika. Hope you find your way back...
Pampers newborn (tapped one) diapers are the best. Because baby is coming in this summer so u can give baby some diaper free tym. My baby boy(Prince) is turning one in this june he has not developed any rash till now ( 🤞)
Hi I’m not a mother….but my sister delivered few years back and the doctor recommended not to use any of the products from any brands for the first few weeks….I don’t know if that’s what all doctors recommend….all the very best…can’t wait to welcome the new member…❤
One thing is to remember, just like kangaroos human babies are kind of same ,there are studies on it that states that having your babies close to your body like hug position, this speed up their overall growth .
I am a 21, I am not a mom, I am just a student, nowhere close to starting a family, but just watched the whole video to feel your vibe. Malz, you'r growing up into a graceful classy woman. I am just getting inspired looking at you, fight your battles so gracefully.
SAME
I swear! Same here. She is gonna be the BEST Mom
Same😂

Hi mals, few suggestions from a new mom, tape diapers are much better than nappy pants, these are very messy to use especially for newborn.
Carry nappy change sheets, u don’t want to create a mess while changing.
Also, babies don’t need a lotion until one month of their age, they are not dry, that’s just a protection layer coming off which they need inside the womb to avoid extra hydration from amniotic fluid.
This!!
True this!!!
Hi! I'm a mom of 2, had both babies in the last 3 years, just wanted to say that please don't use rash cream regularly, use it only when the baby has a rash. For every diaper change you must use cold pressed coconut oil, learnt from experience, just sharing it with you.
1. Pampers diaper ( new baby )
2. Dry sheets
3. Diaper changing sheets
4. Baby grooming kit ( nail clipper or trimmer )
5. Cotton hosiery langot ( cloth diaper)
6. Jhablas ( cotton shirts )
7. Feeding bottle or spoon n bowl
Hi Malvika! I’m a mother to a 7 mo. I used cotton balls and warm water to clean my baby’s bottom all the time at least till she was 3 mo. Safer than wet wipes any day. Hope this helps. 😊
For massage pure almond oil is best!! Don’t need to go for any brands 😊
Also a dry sheet would be best to place under the sheet or blanket of the baby as it helps for any leakage during nights
Yeah, especially Rogan badam Shirin .the best one
Diaper- carry 1 packet of 50 pieces.
Wipes- 3-4 packs
Onesies- please carry more.
This will help u not miss placing any documents of the baby and you
Hope that helped❤❤
Go woman! 💪❤
How do you know you’re not even a mom
Hi Malvika!
I m a new mummy to a 2 and half month old baby , and I can share few suggestions as per my experience
- taped diapers are better for new born than the pant style ones . Pampers active new born is the best
- I’m also using the mother Sparsh wipes and it’s the best !
- nipple shield also come in handy
- burp clothes are really not of any use I wasted my money
- do carry breast pads with you I swear they are the most used item for me also , disposable period panties from amazon
From one new mum to another
Xoxo ❤
try tape style diapers it’s easy to change, and doctors generally do not recommend powders for babies, include a dry sheet to change diapers.. for 2 to 3 days 1 pack of wipes would be enough
Mamaearth is not at all safe for adults only. I would highly recommend to not use their products on at least baby! I have read that they are using very harmful chemicals.
Yessss !!! I used their ubtan face wash and got rashes very next day 😖😖
Mamaearth is very harsh! Try cetaphil or aveeno! Found these brands foe my baby after using a bunch of brands
Seba med is also safe for babies.
@@IshitaSaha055 same here
So true
It’s really amazing to see you growing into a mama.. lots of love. Few tips for a new mommy which I wish I was told or aware of,
1) Muslin swaddles are amazing and you can have loads of it.

Wish you the very best for your new journey….
Love it.
Good luck,I hope you have an easy and safe delivery.Honestly as a mum to a 7yr old boy,I had a vaginal delivery and it was super easy,Breastfeeding was the hard part.I would suggest some of these:-
1.Breastfeeding support for Indian moms -a fb support group for new mums was my bible.Great information and support
2.light foldable diaper sheet(waterproof)to carry in the diaper bag. Also order mattress protectors and a dry sheet to protect mattress from any “accidents”
3.Please skip on powder for the baby-they are all so finely milled.Used initially and stopped completely once I read up about the harms of it
4.would suggest you wash everything and keep them in the bag,new stuff can get itchy
5.Cold pressed coconut oil worked the best for my son
6.initial few days I used cotton dipped in warm water to wash babies bum, after that used to carry him to the sink to wash.Wipes only when I didn’t have access to a sink.He never got a diaper rash-I used diapers throughout never cloth
Hi malvika some parents like taped diapers coz they r little less messier wen changing poop diapers and while applying rash creams. Also they have better fitting, so in case u wanna try those opt for pampers NB size…just a suggestion
First time mom here with a 3 month old. My picks -
1. Dry sheets and cotton sheets together for the baby to sleep on
2. Cotton langots (nappies) for day time
3. Rai pillow
4. AC blanket
5. Sebamed face cream
6. Sebamed body wash
7. Almond oil/ olive oil for massage
8. Coconut oil for hair
9. Chicco comb
10. Baby bather
11. Sterilizer Philips
12. Dr brown bottles
13. Pampers premium pant style diapers. (For newborn use tape style)
14. Towel/cotton hanky/ cloth dor cleaning
15. Himalaya wipes
16. Chicco powder with puff
17. Philips avent pacifier
18. Luvlap nipple shields
19. Nipple butter (mother sparsh)
20. Vicks babyrub
21. A rattle
22. Mittens and socks for newborn
23.
24. It is best to clean baby's bottom with cotton and warm water instead of wipes as cotton is softer on skin
25. Breast pads (meemee)
I have all of it 😊 this was just a diaper bag video ❤
Hey mals.
I really recommend using olive oil on your baby for moisturiser.
It’s very calming for the baby and there’s no compromise on the moisture
Also, a feeding pillow is recommended to be carried to the hospital. It helps to ensure a good posture to help baby latch and also for you to avoid back pain.
Aapne use Kiya h ??
Recommended to wash everything before you pack..
I know. I’m a mom now :) hahaha! I got this ;)
@@ThatGirlInVogue THE BABY IS OUT MALSSS????!!!!
@@shruthiharidas1297 no she didn’t delivered yet she uploaded 1 hr on insta
Do buy vest ( banian) for the babyy !
As you don’t want the zip of the onesie directly touching the baby skin it might bhi lil harsh or something!
Else also VEST is imp
Carry a nipple butter mals. Also the Huggies premium are not the best they look cute but they leak. Normal Huggies is really good. Tried and tested. All the best for the new motherhood 🎉
Do buy daipers with weight upto 3 kg
Daipers of XS size ( for upto 5kg) do not usually work for newborns first 1.5 month you will definitely need very smallll daipers!
❤️❤️❤️ from a first time mom to oct 2022 born a few suggestions
Diaper cream-b4nappi from firstcry
Baby soap- tedibar soap for babies
Shampoo- spoo shampoo
If ur baby has dry skin cetaphil baby lotion is the best of the lot !
If u r ok having castor oil in milk have that.. it will induce labor pains within 5-6 hours.. have something sweet immediately after that to change the taste of castor oil
Hi Mals, things you need to add on ( recommendations from a mom of 10 months old baby girl)
1. Cotton blanket as hospitals have ACs
2. Mustard seeds pillow, lot of good options are there on first cry and Amazon
3. Please take taped diapers, pampers are preferred ( carry about 20 of them)
4. One pack of mother Sparsh wipes will be more then enough for you
5. Mittens
Being a first time mom to a oct born….. I would say use coconut oil instead of any massage oil! ; I have been using sebamed massage oil too but I found out coconut oil makes babies body soft! ❤️❤️❤️ to u and babes
You will want to give diaper free time to the baby for atleast some time in the day for that you need langot and drysheets
Hii
Aveeno products are great.
Sudocream is extremely useful for rashes. Also, what works for other babies may not work for your baby. You will figure it out... Lots of love❤❤❤❤
My sister tried mamaearth baby massage oil. It didn't suit the baby and gave tiny bumps all over skin
You will need one pack of wet wipes for the hospital… and your baby won’t fit into this clothes initially…you need premie size clothes
Sometimes clothes can cause rashes on babies.
strongest mama in the world.💜
that mama glow, those giggles n smiles, can’t get over! love you Malvika.
Will recommend you the dry sheets..or quick dry and runber sheets ..useful while massaging baby also while changing baby..
In terms of lotion and shower jel i think seba med is the best..moms co naturals is also fine
1. get a dry mat too for the baby (u have to place it under the baby while changing the diaper)
2. also baby diaper are supposed to be changed in 3-4 hours so pack accordingly for 2 days and 1 pack of wipes is more than enough.
3. also i feel pampers premium diaper pants for better for new borns...
4. get small nail cutters too and a little hair comb too
5. also for the face get sebamed facial cream for baby ... lotion may cause rash on face (what did on mine)
6. also i feel babis should wear cotton sandos underneath the onesie as anyways baby will bw under AC ... might get cold... also it is better to add a layer so that the zippers are not in contact with skin.
Moisturiser - cetaphil
Diaper rash- pls use coconut oil( most natural remedy and it works)
Massage oil- virgin coconut oil in summer and almond oil in winters
Body wash- seba med /cetaphil
Hi Mals few suggestions from a professional medical working in Neonatology with babies for many years..
just want u to know that babies wont appreciate pacifier very much n this can also create gas in their stomach.. Babies never over do nipple sucking until they are full.. so dont worry abt that!
Also carry dignity sheets for changing diapers
N body oil is good for massage but don’t use lotions or anything like that!
May God bless u n ur child as u enter new era of ur journey! 🎉🥳
For 2-3 days of hospital stay you won't need more than one pack of wipes and 15-16 diapers. Also , take a fleece baby blanket as well.
Hey mals first of all congratulations for ur pregnancy and all the best for ur delivery
I have 3 months old baby girl and I am a first time mom from England
I just want to share my own experience with u about my delivery
I was 41 weeks pregnant and my baby wasn’t coming out 😂
I went for induction and my baby heart beat was dropped doctors suggested for emergency c section ( which I wasn’t ready )
Throughout my pregnancy I was doing yoga / meditation / positive every thing was good but this last minute thing was little scary
Moving forward
I just want to tell u be ready for anything happening in the hospital and delivery
And one thing I have really struggled after my delivery was moving out and holding baby
Initial few days were really hard in terms of feeding
When baby is crying and u don’t understand how to feed 😢
No matter how much u feeding them sometimes they just feel hungry after one hour
And after c section sitting on bed for so long and feeding the baby and not sleeping is another level feeling
But I am sending lot of positivity to u and ur baby
We know u are so strong and u will be fine
We are just waiting for the good news 😊
Love u 🥰
Changing mats, dry sheets, wrap swaddles with velcro(ready to go), cloth nappies(u need to keep a count of their pee n poop for first few weeks), breast pump(jus in case of engorgement)
Also, wud prefer pampers over any brand any day.. huggies jus leaks, doesnt hold the runny poo of the newborn phase
Hi which pump do you suggest? Electric or manual?
Fridababy NoseFrida and MediFrida accu-dose pacifier 🙌
And it is a good idea to wash all baby clothes/ sanitise pacifiers (before first use) and all for the first few months.
Hi Mals, just a piece of advice. I think it is good to wash all the baby clothes before putting it on them.
Lol I'm not even close to being a mommy😂😂 but still I'm watching mals coz her voice aur aura is so calming 🥰😌
Hey mals, just a recommendation Pipette baby shower products are the best for babies totally fragrance free… 💜
Hi mam, u can try diapers (Just born) size which is also available in market now. Tape diapers is best for newborn babies instead of pants.
❤
No powder required for newborns! Please consult your paediatrician before using them on your baby! All the best for the unique experience!
You can use a normal coconut oil for rashes. Please use diaper with sticker on. Its easier to open and put on for new borns. 12:25
I'm just 23, not pregnant nor married but I saved this video for the future 😂. Lyk why???
But my friends suggested Himalaya diapers saying they are soft on the body too
No no never trust Himalaya. I have been using Mammy pant style and it is the best. Have 2 kids and have used this only for both.
Mamy poko pants are far better than pampers.. Pampers are rough when we touch a little harsh on the skjm
For newborn baby I thnk r for rabbit diaper feathers r very good or Pampers active baby
Virgin coconut oil is the best for babies for any seasons. Shesha ayurveda brand is good for the virgin coconut oil
Also, use almond oil for massaging your baby, thats the most gentle for babys skin
Every mom wants best for their babies 😊
Ur gonna be a great mom 🤗
You can use pure coconut oil ( cold pressed) or almond oil or pure ghee for massage . They are the best
You are absolutely right… my baby is 2 years old, i give my baby pacifier and she is not at all used to it.. its fine to give them. I used cetaphil baby products and i love them.. but from 1 year I have been using aveeno..
What are your reviews on the diaper bag?
Is it comfortable to carry and light weight?
Also I have a 3 month old, and some suggestions -
1. Tape diapers don’t work on new born babies. They have poop blowouts. So pampers/ mamy taped diapers are a good option.
2. You should carry your breast pump and atleast 1 feeding bottle because you don’t know what things might look like. Some girls get a late supply especially after a C section.
3. Carry some thin cotton vests as the zips might irritate the skin
And moreover the diaper is good but don’t buy that panty ones just with the tape are good and try “pampers premium” 🙂✨
And aveeno is best for little ones 🫶🏻
Massage oil - virgin coconut oil is the bessssssst 😃
Mama earth isn’t recommended but Sebamed is really good and gentle they used it for my lil bro😊
Taped diapers over diaper pants anyday 😅 aveeno baby, sebamed baby, cetaphil are all good… a good cold pressed coconut oil goes a long way!!
From whats in my bag video to whats in baby's diaper bag!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Since u asked for recommendations on baby wash I think chicco is a good option n it’s also fragrance free!
No mamma earth products . I had gone with my child to the Dermat and 2 Dermats said no for mammaearth products
I used for our baby -johnson powder bodywash, mamaearth body lotion ..and also Himalayas products
And for massage ..figaro olive oil is best among all
& One packet of wipes is more than sufficient for 2 days of hospital ( use as much of water than wipes )
Jitna chemical se door rkho babies ko utna bdiya ❤️ All the best
You should carry diaper with NB(new born) size instead of xs
XS/NB are the same for that brand

Pampers newborn (tapped one) diapers are the best. Because baby is coming in this summer so u can give baby some diaper free tym. My baby boy(Prince) is turning one in this june he has not developed any rash till now ( 🤞)
Blue nectar Ayurvedic baby oil is 100% natural. It’s the best one as I didn’t find any skin reactions and it’s totally organic
Hi I’m not a mother….but my sister delivered few years back and the doctor recommended not to use any of the products from any brands for the first few weeks….I don’t know if that’s what all doctors recommend….all the very best…can’t wait to welcome the new member…❤
Please take a vaseline jelly, use it before pampers. It wont give any rash.
One thing is to remember, just like kangaroos human babies are kind of same ,there are studies on it that states that having your babies close to your body like hug position, this speed up their overall growth .
So happy to see you as a mom mals, waiting to see baby in beige clothes 😂
