  • VLOG that I shot on Saturday as I headed to work. My thoughts on how well the M&H drag radials worked compared to the Atturo AZ850's I use as daily tires. Ol Orange Krate is happy on either...lol. I also had a few thoughts on the SRT Demon and the amount of whining/hurt feelings I've seen online in various forums/groups/etc.

Watched several of your vids, I enjoy your posts. I am in the Orlando area, would like to come watch your Mango screamer at the speedway some time. Lemme know when you're coming back to the area again. I don't have many Mopar friends around here, let alone any Challenger or Charger buddies, lol. Got my '16 B5 Blue Scat Pack about 8 weeks ago, so learning all I can. Stay safe!

Thank ya very much....the support is appreciated. If you are on Facebook, check out Central Florida Mopars. They are an active group, and always planning get togethers, events, etc. I'm hoping to make it back down this weekend, either Friday night (if the rain goes away), or Sunday for the Funday Sunday T&T at OSW. Friend of mine in Gainesville has never run at OSW, so going to try and get him over there this weekend while he's on vacation.

Don't forget the Fanboys comparison of the new Hennessy Exorcist to the Demon. Again another non factory production car lol. It's a shame that some people can't just enjoy what American muscle is doing with the modern muscle cars. All 3 manufacturers offer something for everyone, rather you wanna a drag strip car or a track ready car. I might be a Mopar guy, but definitely do a double take anytime I see a new ZL1 or GT350. awesome cars. Wish I could own one of each lol

Yep, I've seen that a lot. It's either compare the factory built Demon to a tuner built like the Exorcist, or try to lump the Demon in with the Mustang CJ/COPO Camaro. Hello...factory built street car, not an all out drag car. If they want apples to apples comparison, try the Challenger Drag Pak vs CJ vs COPO. It still amazes me that so many people get their panties in a twist over the Demon. I say enjoy the fact that a manufacturer had the balls to build a street legal 9 sec capable car. We are in the 2nd musclecar revolution, and it is glorious.

That was on the F1's, but I've had almost identical 60ft times on the Atturos. I did the DA corrections on all my runs if the DA goes above 800. The Atturos have a higher frequency of 11 sec passes than the F1's once corrected, plus they have consistent 1.8x and better 60ft times. Outstanding tire for the $$ in my opinion.

Lonnie Aspinwall damn. I have alot of learning how to drive my car. My best is 4.7, which I know sucks cause no traction at take off in mine. Not sure if you have done anything to yours mod wise, but mine is completely stock as it came from the factory. also my best quarter was 12.7 (also shitty) compared to what I've seen other Scat Pack owners run in a stock set up.

It takes a lot of tinkering and practice to get the good numbers. I had 40-50 passes before I finally clipped off the first 11 sec pass. Big thing I found out that hurts perf...heat/heat soak. I'll make a pass or two, then cool the car for at least 30 mins, maybe more. I also pop the air filter out at the track...seems to be worth a tenth or two, especially with the Hellcat air box.
