Introducing A New Cat To Our Dogs??!!

- So 3 giant malamutes and a new fluffy cat? What could go wrong right......??
We often look after claude so they have all met for years but as he lives alone as the only pet in his house, it takes him a day or two to adjust to the dogs though he chills out pretty soon. Him and Milo tire each other out, generally at night when everyone is sleeping though!

Looks like Milo enjoys having a wrestling buddy his own size! And he immediately told Claude not to put up with any of that puppy nonsense.

Milo: Ok so the kid's cool. She'll give us all the attention we want. The big fluffs aren't a big deal. Just show them who's in charge and you'll be fine.
I didn't expect Milo to have a cat buddy! The more I learn about Milo, the cooler he is to me.
Everytime Teddy showed up his super cute curious face at the big window, I got my big grin or LOL 😁😄😂 oh dear, I wanna hug him! 😘🤗
Poor Teddy, forever hopeful that someone will play with him.

I was shocked at how quickly Milo accepted a new cat into his territory - until you explained Claude is Ella's cat and they've been friends for a while. Good ol' Phil. He's cool if they come, he's cool if they go. He doesn't really care as long as they don't try to dominate him. Philly bear still is and always will be my fave. 💗
Also whenever they go on vacations, Milo stays at Ella's, so the two cats are used to eachother.

Claude is a beauty. Nice that Milo and Claude get along. Cats are more territorial than dogs are. Mia seems to be a cat lover.🙂

I never would have thought that Milo would be accepting and even submissive to another cat in HIS home. I really think Milo would love a kitty friend to play with. Three Malamutes and two Maine Coons? Imagine the video content you could make! 🤣❤🐱 Maine Coon kittens are precious.
It's not everything about "the content" though and telling someone to go have another pet is overstepping the boundaries, don't ya think???

I merely commented on the fact that I was surprised that Milo, as such an authoratative cat, accepted another cat in his home territory and clearly enjoys the relationship. So many others said the same. The SUGGESTION to get another cat along with the video content was meant to be lighthearted, as they obviously have a well known TH-cam channel and are free to do as they wish. Claude looks like my girls Satori & Savannah. They were with me for 18 & 19 years respectively. During that time they both loved my dog, Asta. And they were very tolerant of rescues & strays I fostered.

I remember the first video Claude showed up in. He and Milo were eating a lot of food. Claude has those Siamese cat markings that I absolutely love. :)
The markings are called "points" and many breeds have them. Claude is actually a Balinese.

He's not, they post videos out of order. Alopecia has no cure or treatment, hair loss is always permanent and progressive. I'm only saying this because they have posted multiple videos saying this themselves and the "his furs growing back!" comments bother them.
Whoa, even Boss Cat is like "Sh*t, Claude means business!" when he bats that window! And Mia is like the leading lady in one of those old black and white movies when she is like "Claude, come back!! Come back!" I can picture her in a belted trenchcoat and jauntily angled panama hat as Claude climbs aboard a light aircraft to go and fight the enemy!

I see Claude with a great emotion. I had a ragdoll too, mine was "blue point" and Claude is "seal point". Except the colors, they are the same. They are so beautiful.

Teddy needs a “training cat” - as I was grown up, y mother bred Labs - and we had one cantankerous Russian Blue Siamese mix that would happily smack the puppies around if they didn’t show proper respect for the “cat bubble” - never once drew blood or even really scared them, just......a demonstration of his power. Every litter was educated to be very respectful of cats by 8 weeks of age.
Well.... he has Milo who does that already lol. Teddy does respect them, he just wants to play with everyone)))
Why do you think that a puppy wanting just to play with a cat is disrespectful?? He just wants to play, he is a puppy. Thats his nature as a dog, to be playful, friendly and affectionate. You would have said the same if it was a kitten wanting to play with a bigger, older dog. The cat is the one being disrespectful to the dog, always being rude to him. Thank God this dogs are patient. If it was a stray dog, it would ended differently for Milo
@@GodisMyNo1 In this case, I'm trying to use the term "respect" with a bit of humor. Cats an dogs have very different body language, and personal space boundaries. A puppy that learns at an early age just WHERE these boundaries are will have an easier time getting along with cats later on in their lives.

I think Claude is an Himalayan cat. Siameses are not that fluffy.

Smart to keep Claud and Teddy apart. Teddy obviously wants to play. Sweet Teddy, still a puppy. With enough time and scratches Teddy would learn that Claud is old school. Playing on the other side of a window and with Claud inside maybe as good as it gets.
