- Little did you all know I was banished for 10 whole days from seeing any form of canine or my own daughter! I was a prisoner in my own home, never did I think it would be that emotionally draining! Here's the video of seeing my pets after 10 days of solitary confinement! So good to hear them howling with excitement! Of course Amelia too but as mentioned that wasn't for the video.

Dear Emma I’m so glad you’re able to be with your family now, it must have been so hard especially not being able to see your beautiful daughter Amelia. I'm so sorry you got sick and the tongue thing is terrifying; C/O? is certainly going around with so many people I know getting it. It definitely affects people differently, even young, healthy, fit people getting hit really hard. Emotional pain is so hard too; I totally understand crying when you were able to see and physically touch Mia again and reunite with Shane and Neko, Phil and Teddy. I'm so glad you had wonderful Milo with you. I hope you're feeling much better! ❤️

We got covid new years eve, thats when the fevers hit. We couldn't get out of bed for almost a week. We can't smell or taste, but we do believe we're over the worst of it.

I am so glad you are feeling better! I tested positive about a week ago after having a horrible cold! I had tested negative earlier in December because of the cold I had! But a few of the people I work with had it so work asked the rest of us to get tested as a precaution! Only isolated for 5 days but it was hard!! I’m glad you and Harley are better!!!

The virus isolation is horrid. i did before Christmas with my daughter we had to do 15 days from Demeter 22, she tested positive say
During my isolation. I have to do 15 days with out my support work whilst I was very ill. I nearly went in to hospital it was only averted by steroids and the over new year I was on antibiotics. I’ve had it twice. Glad you are feeling. I got secondary bacterial infection and laryngitis so it’s not a nice virus to get. I’m still recovery a mouth out of it not there yet

I tested positive for one of the variants a few days after Christmas too, thinking it was a cold because i didn’t have any of the major symptoms, just a runny nose, sneezing, coughing, and fatigue. Had to be put into quarantine for 2 weeks (got to go back to work this past Thursday). I don’t live with anyone but my mom, who had it sometime in the past, so it was ok being around each other. But it wasn’t fun not being able to see anyone else or go anywhere.
At least your better now and can be with the rest of your family!!!

Hi Emma, glad to hear that you are ok, I know what you went thru, I too tested positive on the 10th, but here in Sydney NSW, they are only making you isolate for 8 days providing you are symptom free on the 8th day. I have 3 cats & a sulphur crested cockatoo to keep me company, I have been watching all your videos to keep me occupied whilst in isolation. I've had very mild symptoms, so I have been lucky, I'm hoping that I'm out of isolation tomorrow. The only thing that I am suffering from still is fatigue. I love the way how you have incorporated your furballs into your family, your clips have stopped me from going around the twist.
The dogs and Mia are so beautiful, but it makes me so sad to see Phil losing his fur. The bestest dog deserves better.

I tested positive new years eve at the exact same time my dad did. Apart from day 3 and day 4 having a fever, i was barely sick and im not jabbed.
So you got jabbed and suffered the consequences.

That sounds so hard, and the tongue situation must've been vr scary. Glad you are back with your family now. I doubt you will ever have to isolate from them again like that so try not to dwell on it too much. I don't watch family channels on yt, but yours is the exception 🙌
Emma so glad you are on the mend, found your description very moving. My son at 4 suffered brain tumour, stroke and epilepsy and I lost my husband to something similar, therefore am extremely frightened by the C word and how it can affect people with underlying conditions. Isolation must have been so lonely. You have such a lovely family, who obviously love you and each other so much.Take care all.
